【従来の技術】
従来の圧縮機運転周波数を減少させる空気調和機の制御方法は、圧縮機の入力電流の急上昇を抑制する為圧縮機運転周波数が減少するときは圧縮機への入力電流に関係無く所定の周波数で一定時間固定を行って圧縮機の運転周波数を減少させていたり圧縮機の下降速度を上昇速度よりもおそくしていた。(例えば特許文献1参照)

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来の構成では下記のような課題があった。圧縮機への入力電流に関係なく圧縮機の運転周波数を減少させるため、サーモ設定温度近傍でも運転周波数が所定で固定されるため、その固定されているところでサーモON/OFFが頻繁に発生した。その結果、冷房・ドライ時は相対湿度の上昇やその上昇を抑制する為にリモコン設定温度よりも冷気味の運転を行ったり、暖房運転においてはサーモON/OFFを繰り返すたびに室温変化が大きく、冷風感が発生するといった快適性上の課題があった。

上記課題を解決するために本発明は、圧縮機運転周波数を減少させるときに圧縮機入力電流が高い時だけすなわち圧縮機負荷が大きいときだけ所定の周波数で固定して周波数を減少させるようにすることで、サーモON/OFFの発生頻度を抑制して、快適性の向上を図る。

図1において、圧縮機9の入力電流を検出する入力電流検出手段7にて検出された圧縮機入力電流Iaが、制御部8にて予め設定された圧縮機入力電流Ibより高い領域で制御部8より圧縮機9の運転周波数をダウンさせる圧縮機運転周波数ダウン指令が発信されたとき、現状運転されている圧縮機運転周波数からダウン指令による目標運転周波数までのあいだに制御部8に予め設定された所定時間圧縮機運転周波数を固定する周波数が少なくとも1つ以上ある場合は、その所定時間圧縮機8の運転周波数を固定して目標運転周波数までダウンを行う。

上記実施の形態から明らかなように、本発明は、圧縮機運転周波数をダウンさせるときの運転制御手段によるもので、この構成によれば常用使用される条件では圧縮機の固定を行わない為、インバーター制御本来の目的である能力可変が広範囲で行われることで、快適な住環境の提供を図ることができる。
