本発明は主にイチゴ、ぶどう、さくらんぼ、びわ、いちじく等の果肉の軟らかい果実を輸送するに好適な包装箱に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、イチゴ、ぶどう、さくらんぼ、びわ、いちじく等の果肉の軟らかい果実あるいは、水分の多い液果類は、小売店での販売単位に合わせ、小さな簡易包装カップやトレー(薄肉樹脂成形容器)にパック詰めされて出荷されている。このカップやトレーは、荷扱いや輸送コストなどを考慮した場合には、一個ずつよりも複数単位でまとめて出荷することが望ましい。
そのため、上記カップやトレーは複数個数をまとめて、更に容量の大きな段ボール箱やコンテナに複数収納して出荷されており、段ボール箱単位又はコンテナ単位で貯蔵保管・輸送等の荷扱いができるようにしている。
例えばイチゴを収納したパックの場合、更に下記文献のような積重可能なケース(輸送箱)に2個ずつまたは4個ずつ収納した後、このケース(輸送箱)を2段又は3段積みした後、テープ掛けなどして市場や量販店などに出荷されていた(特許文献1〜2参照)。
また箱内部に仕切材を装着し、上記のパックを複数個収納するのに適した段ボール箱も提案されている(特許文献3〜4参照)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしパック詰めされたイチゴ、ぶどう等は、果肉が軟らかいために、固い箱底面に接する部分は、自重により押されて荷痛みによる商品ロスが大きいという傾向がある。また、パックは輸送中の振動や衝撃により上下または左右に動いて箱底に当るために損傷を受けやすいものである。
そこで、イチゴ、ぶどう等を輸送箱に入れて運搬する場合、特に底部分の荷痛みを軽減するために、底面等に緩衝材を敷く等の手段が用いられるが、包装作業が煩雑となり輸送コストも高くつく。

本発明は、上記のような実情に鑑みなされたものであって、その目的とするところは、輸送箱内面に突出部を設けることにより、簡易包装カップやトレーを箱内部に宙吊り状態に保持し、緩衝性を与え、底面の圧迫による果物の劣化を防止するものである。
また本発明の他の目的は、果物の荷痛みを押えることが可能な宙吊り包装箱を容易に製造することができ、かつ別途に緩衝部材を必要としない箱構造を提案するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために、本発明は次のような手段を包含するものである。
(1) 上面開口形の箱と、該箱の内部を区分けするように配設した中仕切材とから成り、該中仕切材で箱内に形成した複数の部屋にそれぞれにイチゴ等の果物を入れる簡易包装カップまたはトレーを詰めあわせ、さらに該箱の内側面に相対向する突出部を形成し、その突出部と中仕切材とで、前記カップまたはトレーのフランジ部を保持して、カップ底面またはトレー底面が箱底に接しないように宙吊りに支持可能なことを特徴とする宙吊り包装箱。
(2) 上面開口形の箱と、該箱の内部を区分けするように配設した中仕切材とから成り、該中仕切材で箱内に形成した複数の部屋にそれぞれ簡易包装カップまたはトレーを詰合わせ、さらに該箱内に設置した中仕切材で前記カップまたはトレーのフランジ部を保持し、カップ底面またはトレー底面が箱底に接しないように宙吊りに支持可能なことを特徴とする宙吊り包装箱。
(3) 相対向する突出部は、包装箱の短側面または長側面を切起こして箱内側に段状に突出するように形成された箱の部分である(1)に記載の宙吊り包装箱。
(4) 相対向する突出部は、包装箱の側板から箱内側に突出するように折り曲げられた舌片状の部材である(1)に記載の宙吊り包装箱。
(5) 中仕切材は、箱底面を切起して形成されている仕切部材である(1)〜(2)のいずれかに記載の宙吊り包装箱。
(6) 中仕切材は、箱の底板と別体のピースで形成されているものである(1)〜(2)のいずれかに記載の宙吊り包装箱。
(7) 中仕切材の両端下部から上方内向きに傾斜したガイド溝を設け、前記ガイド溝は、中仕切材を包装箱に差込んだとき、箱の短側面または長側面に切込み形成する舌片を箱の内方に突出するように案内する(5)に記載の宙吊り包装箱。
(8) 簡易包装カップまたはトレーがプラスチック製の薄肉成形容器である(1)〜(7)に記載の宙吊り包装箱。

上記包装箱によれば、イチゴ、ぶとう、びわ、さくらんぼ、いちじく等の果肉が軟らかい果物を簡易包装カップまたはトレーにパック詰めし、そのパックを箱内に宙吊り状態に浮かせて出荷し運搬することができるから、特に底面と接する果物の荷痛みを防止、軽減することを可能とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施形態を具体的に説明する。
添付図面は、イチゴを詰めた簡易包装カップまたはトレー(図4のP参照)を一例として4パック詰め合わせるための上面開口形包装箱(上面開口形輸送箱)の典型例を示すものである。
この包装箱は、廃棄処理並びにリサイクル処理の容易な段ボール等の紙を素材として作製される。この実施例は緩衝性と断熱性に優れたAフルート又はBフルートの段ボールシートから形成されているが、Eフルート又はGフルートと呼ばれている薄い段ボールシートを使用することもできる。また段ボールに代え、一般紙器用の板紙を素材としても構わない。

図1〜図5は第1の実施形態を示す。まず図1の展開図について説明する。符号1は矩形状の底板、2は前記底板の対向した長側辺に折線を介して連接した長側板、3は前記長側板2の両端に折線を介して設けた折込片、4は底板1の対向した短側辺に折線を介して連接した第1の短側板、5はさらにその外側に接線を介して連接する第2の短側板、6は第1と第2の短側板の間に設けた細長い縁板である。

トレーにパック詰めされたイチゴ等の果実を出荷する時には、箱内に設置した縦横の中仕切材により箱内に複数の部屋(小間)を形成し、各小間に符号Pで示す果実を収納するパックを配置し、パックPの底面と箱底面とが接触しないように、各パックの周縁部(フランジ部)を、対向した縦中仕切材の上縁の部分又は箱内面から突出させた突出部に引っ掛けて、パックの底を箱底に接しないように保持する(図6参照)。
そして、このような包装箱を、側板に設けたスタッキング用の突起9及び13を利用して荷崩れせぬように所定個数積上げ、テープ掛けなどして量販店などに出荷する。

図7〜図9は第2の実施形態を示す。基本的な箱の構成は第1の実施形態と同様である。第1の実施形態と同一の符号を付した部分は同一の部分を表わす。第1の実施形態と比べての相違点は、箱内面に突出部を形成する代わりに、底板の中央部に、所定の間隔をおいて、2組のH形の切込み30a、30bを形成し、各H形切込みの根本端部を結んで折線31a、31bを側板2と平行に設けることで、底板に一対の縦中仕切材32a、32bを形成した点である。
なお、それぞれの縦中仕切材32a、32bの中央部には横中仕切材34が係合する嵌合溝33a.33bが形成されていることは、第1の実施形態と同じである。図8に示すものは縦中仕切材にかみ合わせる横中仕切材34を示すものである。この横中仕切材は、中央嵌合溝18a、18bの外側に、外側嵌合溝35a、35bを有している。
第2の実施形態におけるパックPの支持状態を図9に示す。図に示すように、横中仕切材34により底板1に対してほぼ直立状態に維持した一対の縦中仕切材32a、32bの間にパックPを配置し、パックPの周縁部を対向した両縦中仕切材32a、32bの上部に引っ掛けてパックPの底を浮かせている。

図10〜図13は、第3の実施形態を示している。基本的な箱の構成は第1の実施形態と同様である。第1の実施形態と比べての相違点は、箱とは別体のピースにより、縦中仕切材と横中仕切材とを用意して、縦横両中仕切材を図13のように十の字形に組み合わせることで、箱内を複数の小間に分割する中仕切材を形成した点である。
なお、第3の実施形態で縦中仕切材40は、図11(A)に示したように、頂板41を挟んで両側に連接された垂直板42a、42bからなっている。縦中仕切材40は、頂板41と垂直板42a、42bとをほぼコの字形に折り曲げた後、中央嵌合溝43に図11(B)に示した横中仕切材(第1の実施形態の横中仕切材22と同じ構成である)の嵌合溝23a、23bを係合することで、縦中仕切材と横中仕切材とを十字形に組み合わせている。なお、箱側面に突出部を形成することは第1の実施形態と同じである。
