しかし、上記した従来の振出式シャープペンシルは、芯タンクにゴムを外嵌するものは部品点数が多くなるとともに組立工数も多くなりコスト高になってしまうものであり、また、芯タンクに可撓性突出部を形成したものは撓み量が少なく重量体の衝撃力を満足には吸収できなかった。

以下、図1に基づいて本発明の振出式シャープペンシルを説明する。尚、図1の左側を前方とし右側を後方とする。先ず、黄銅等からなる金属製のチャック1の後部にポリアセタール製のコネクター2を圧入固着する。このコネクター2は図2及び図3に示したように、略中間部に両側に突出するとともに上下をカットして基部2Aを形成する。この基部2Aより円周方向に略45度伸ばして弾性片2Bを2個形成し、それぞれの弾性片2Bの先端部に長手方向後方に突出した突部2Cを形成する。更に、コネクター2の後部に前方面が垂直で後方面が傾斜した外鍔2Dを2個形成する。このコネクター2の後部をポリプロピレン製のパイプ材からなる芯タンク3の前部に圧入固着する。ポリアセタール製のコネクター2の方がポリプロピレン製の芯タンク3より硬いのでコネクター2が芯タンク3に強固に連結できる。更に、チャック1の頭部1Aには締リング4が外嵌され、締リング4を受け止める連結具5とコネクター2の間にスプリング6が張架される。

以上説明した振出式シャープペンシルは、軸筒7を振ることにより重量体12に慣性力が働き、重量体12がコネクター2の弾性片2Bに形成された突部2Cに当接する。するとコネクター2は重量体12が当接した時の衝撃力を弾性片2Bが撓むことによって吸収しながら前進する。しかも、コネクター2の弾性片2Bは基部2Aから円周方向に伸びて形成されるので弾性片2Bを長く形成することができ、撓み量が大きく取れるので重量体12の衝撃力を十分に吸収することができる。従って、コネクター2とともにチャック1及び芯タンク3も前進し一定量芯10が繰り出される。この時、チャック1は口金9の段部9Bに当接することにより前進が停止されるが、重量体12の衝撃力はコネクター2の弾性片2Bによって吸収されるので、チャック1が強い力で口金9の段部9Bに衝突する恐れはない。また、重量体12がコネクター2に当接した時の衝撃でコネクター2が芯タンク3から外れる心配もなくなるものである。
