Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a brace used in a steel structure, for example, disposed diagonally between columns.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a turnbuckle is interposed between the other ends of a pair of round steel bars (diagonal members) each having one end fixed to a blade-shaped metal member, and one of the blade-shaped metal members is connected to a gusset plate of one pillar having a steel structure. A brace is known in which the other blade-like metal piece is connected to the gusset plate of the other pillar, and the turnbuckle is rotated to tighten the two round steel rods. When a turnbuckle is arranged in a vehicle, the turnbuckle interferes with the turnbuckle, and since the turnbuckle itself is not inexpensive, a brace that does not require a turnbuckle has been proposed (for example, And Patent Document 1).

[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The above-mentioned conventional brace has a complicated structure of the brace body (clamping body) and a large number of parts, so that the manufacturing cost is very high and welding is required for the manufacture. If a pre-plated product is used, the plated part will burn out, so it is necessary to apply a rust preventive coating after welding, which will further increase the cost, and the quality and accuracy of the product will depend on the skill and working environment of the welding worker. There is also a problem that variation occurs.
[0005]
In view of the problems described above, the present invention has a very simple structure and a small number of parts, and does not require any welding at the time of production. Therefore, even if a pre-plated product is used as a production material, rust-proof coating is not required. It is an object of the present invention to provide a brace which has no variation in quality and accuracy, can be mass-produced, and can reduce the cost.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The brace according to the first aspect of the present invention includes a diagonal member 1 made of a round steel bar having a threaded portion 2 formed at each end, a blade-shaped metal member 3 attached to each end of the diagonal member 1, and a diagonal member 1. A nut 4 is screwed into each of the threaded portions 2 and 2 at both ends. Each of the blade-shaped metal pieces 3 has a window 5 formed at the center portion thereof, and the blade 5 sandwiches the window 5 therebetween. A diagonal material insertion hole 6 through which the diagonal material 1 can be inserted is formed at one end of the metal piece 3, and a bolt insertion hole at the other end of the metal piece 3 for bolting the metal piece 3 to the structure side. 7 is provided, and the nut 4 is screwed into the threaded portion 2 of the end of the diagonal member 1 that is inserted into the diagonal member insertion hole 6 and protrudes into the window 5. .
[0007]
A second aspect of the present invention is the brace according to the first aspect, wherein the diagonal material insertion hole 6 is formed at a center in the width direction of the metal piece 3 and along a center in the thickness direction.
[0008]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the brace according to the first aspect, the diagonal material insertion hole 6 is formed at a central portion in the width direction of the blade-shaped metal piece 3 and at a position eccentric to the central portion in the thickness direction. And
[0009]
According to a fourth aspect, in the brace according to any one of the first to third aspects, the other end of the blade-shaped metal member 3 is directly fixed to a structure without being bolted. It is characterized by.
[0010]
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the brace according to any one of the first to fourth aspects, the nut 4 is inserted into the diagonal-material insertion hole 6 of the metal plate-shaped metal piece 3 so as to protrude into the window 5. After being screwed into the threaded portion 2 of the portion, it is characterized in that it is fixed to the blade plate-shaped metal member 3 by welding.
[0011]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a brace according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the brace, and FIG. 3 is an overall front view showing a use state of the brace. Referring to these figures, a brace according to the present invention is attached to a diagonal member 1 of a required length composed of a round steel bar having screw portions 2 formed at both ends, and to both ends of the diagonal member 1, respectively. It is composed of a metal plate-like metal piece 3 and nuts 4 screwed to screw portions at both ends of the diagonal member 1 respectively.
[0012]
The blade-shaped metal members 3 attached to both ends of the diagonal member 1 are integrally formed into a rectangular substantially blade-shaped shape by forging, casting, or machining, and a rectangular window portion 5 is formed at the center portion side with an opening. At the same time, a diagonal material insertion hole 6 through which the diagonal material 1 can be inserted is formed at one end of the feather plate-shaped metal member 3 with the window portion 5 interposed therebetween. Is provided with a bolt insertion hole 7 for bolt connection. The nut 4 is screwed into the threaded portion 2 at the end of the diagonal member 1 which is inserted into the diagonal member insertion hole 6 at one end of the blade plate-shaped metal member 3 and protrudes into the window portion 5. I have.
[0013]
The metal plate-like metal piece 3 is integrally formed into a substantially blade-like shape by forging, casting, or machining as described above. However, from the viewpoint of manufacturing cost, the metal piece 3 is integrally formed by casting using a white-core malleable cast iron. What was done is preferred.
[0014]
The diagonal material insertion hole 6 through which the diagonal material 1 can be inserted is formed by a cylindrical wall portion 3b integrally formed with the plate-shaped main body portion 3a of the feather plate-shaped metal member 3, and the cylindrical wall portion 3b is formed as shown in FIG. As can be seen from the figure, the blade-shaped metal member 3 is formed in a cylindrical shape at the center in the width direction of the plate-shaped main body 3a along the center in the thickness direction. That is, the axis O of the diagonal material insertion hole 6 formed in the inner peripheral portion of the cylindrical wall portion 3b is located at the center in the width direction of the plate-shaped main body 3a and at the center in the thickness direction.
[0015]
FIG. 4B shows the blade-shaped metal piece 3 in which the axis O of the oblique material insertion hole 6 is eccentric by a predetermined amount e with respect to the center in the width direction of the plate-shaped main body 3a. That is, in this case, the cylindrical wall portion 3b 'forming the diagonal material insertion hole 6 in the inner peripheral portion is located at the center in the width direction of the plate-shaped main body portion 3a and is eccentric by a predetermined amount e from the center portion in the thickness direction. Are formed integrally with the plate-shaped main body 3a.
[0016]
As shown in FIG. 4A, when the diagonal material insertion hole 6 is formed so as to extend along the center in the width direction and along the center in the thickness direction of the plate-shaped main body 3a, It is relatively easy to manufacture, and if the diagonal material insertion hole 6 is formed so as to be eccentric with respect to the center in the width direction and the center in the thickness direction of the plate-shaped main body 3a as shown in FIG. When crossing a pair of braces, it is possible to avoid the intersection of the diagonal members 1 and 1 of the two braces from interfering with each other.
[0017]
A method of using the brace configured as described above will be described. First, at the time of use, the both ends thread portions 2 and 2 of the diagonal member 1 made of a round steel bar are inserted into the diagonal member insertion holes 6 of the blade-shaped metal member 3 respectively. It is inserted into the window 5 and the nut 4 is lightly screwed into the end of the window 5 to obtain a state as shown in FIG.
[0018]
Then, one blade-shaped metal piece 3 is bolted to a gusset plate 9 attached to the lower end of one of the columns 8 (for example, the left side in the drawing) of the structure as shown in FIG. That is, the bolt 10 is inserted through the bolt insertion hole 7 of the blade plate-shaped metal member 3 into the bolt insertion hole (not shown) of the gusset plate 9 and is lightly fastened with a nut (not shown). Thereafter, the other blade-shaped metal piece 3 is connected to the gusset plate 9 attached to the upper end of the other (right side in the drawing) column 8 of the same structure by the bolt 10 in the same manner as described above. The nut 4 screwed into the threaded portion 2 of the diagonal member 1 is appropriately rotated so that the bolt insertion hole 7 of the blade-shaped metal piece 3 and the bolt insertion hole of the gusset plate 9 match.
[0019]
When the two plate-like metal members 3 and 3 are connected to the gusset plates 9 and 9 with the bolts 10, respectively, the nuts screwed to the bolts 10 are tightened, and then the metal members 3 protrude into the windows 5 of the plate-like metal members 3. The diagonal member 1 is tightened by rotating the nut 4 screwed to the screw portion 2 at the end of the diagonal member 1 with a suitable nut rotating operation tool such as a wrench. Although only one set of braces is shown in FIG. 3, actually, two sets of braces are arranged so that the two oblique members 1 and 1 intersect, and the two oblique members 1 are connected to the nuts as described above. The nut 4 is tightened by the rotation operation of the nut 4 by the rotation operation tool.
[0020]
After the nut 4 is finally tightened in the window 5 of the blade-shaped metal member 3 as described above, the nut 4 is welded and fixed to a required portion of the blade-shaped metal member 3, that is, an end surface of the cylindrical wall portion 3b. By doing so, the nut 4 does not unexpectedly loosen due to vibration or the like, and the tightened state by the oblique material can be maintained as it is for a long time.
[0021]
According to the brace of the present invention as described above, the brace includes a diagonal member 1 made of a round steel bar having thread portions 2 formed at both ends, and a feather plate shape attached to both ends of the diagonal member 1, respectively. It consists of a metal member 3 and nuts 4 screwed into screw portions at both ends of the diagonal member 1, respectively. There is no equivalent to a turnbuckle in an intermediate portion of the diagonal member 1, and the structure is extremely simplified. Since the number of points is small, the production is easy and the cost can be reduced.
[0022]
Also, since no welding is required for the production of this brace, even if a pre-plated product is used for the diagonal member 1 and the blade-shaped metal member 3, no rust-proof coating is required, there is no variation in quality and accuracy, and there is no variation in quality and stability. Accuracy can be improved, mass production is possible, and cost can be significantly reduced.
[0023]
FIG. 5 shows another embodiment of the brace according to the present invention. That is, this brace is such that the end of the blade plate-shaped metal piece 3 on the bolt insertion hole 7 side is welded directly to the column 8 without being bolted to the gusset plate 9 as shown in FIG. It is. In this case, the welded-fixed-side end of the blade-shaped metal piece 3 is formed obliquely so as to contact the inner surface of the column 8 to be fixed and form a predetermined angle, as shown in FIG. Further, in this brace, both of the blade-shaped metal members 3 may be directly welded to the column 8 or only one of the blade-shaped metal members 3 may be welded to the column 8. In addition, in FIG. 5, the welded part which welded the edge part of the plate-shaped metal piece 3 to the pillar 8 is shown by W.
[0024]
According to the brace in which the end of the blade-shaped metal piece 3 on the bolt insertion hole 7 side is directly fixed to the structure such as the column 8 by welding as described above, the brace is stretched over the structure such as the column 8. In doing so, a gusset plate to be attached to a structure such as the pillar 8 is not required, so that the work of attaching the gusset plate can be omitted and the construction cost can be reduced.
[0025]
【The invention's effect】
The brace according to the first aspect of the present invention provides a brace made of a round steel bar having threaded portions at both ends, a blade-shaped metal member attached to each end of the diagonal material, and a threaded portion at each end of the sloped material. And a nut which is screwed into each of them. There is no equivalent to a turnbuckle in the middle of the diagonal material, the structure is extremely simple and the number of parts is small, making it easy to manufacture and reducing costs. Can be achieved. Also, since no welding is required in the production of the brace, even if a pre-plated product is used for the diagonal material or the metal plate, the anti-rust coating is not required, and there is no variation in quality and accuracy. It is possible to achieve improvement and mass production is possible, so that the cost can be significantly reduced.
[0026]
As in the brace according to the second aspect of the present invention, when the diagonal material insertion hole is formed along the center in the width direction and along the center in the thickness direction of the blade-shaped metal member, the manufacture of the blade-shaped metal member is facilitated.
[0027]
According to the brace of the invention according to claim 3, the diagonal material insertion hole is formed at the center in the width direction of the blade plate-shaped metal and at a position eccentric to the center in the thickness direction. This is extremely effective in use because it is possible to avoid the intersection of the diagonal members of both braces when crossing the braces.
[0028]
According to the brace according to the fourth aspect of the present invention, the other end of the blade plate-shaped metal member on the side of the bolt insertion hole is directly fixed to the structure without being bolted. Since a gusset plate to be attached to a structure such as a pillar is not required when the structure is stretched over a structure, the time and labor required for the attachment can be reduced, and the construction cost can be reduced.
[0029]
Like the brace of the invention according to claim 5, the nut is inserted into the diagonal material insertion hole of the feather plate-shaped metal and screwed into the thread portion of the end of the diagonal material that protrudes into the window portion, and then is screwed into the feather plate-shaped metal. According to the brace fixed by welding, the nut is not unexpectedly loosened by vibration or the like, and the tightened state by the diagonal material can be maintained as it is.
