Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravity hinge for opening/closing a door, easily attachable to a support panel and a door panel made of a thin plate, and presenting fine appearance. <P>SOLUTION: A support hinge H2 is composed of: an upper side door mounting means 20 mounted to the lower end face 17 of the door panel D, and a lower side adjusting means 30 for supporting the door panel. 【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、各種のドア開閉用ヒンジの中でも、一方にガイドヒンジを備えてドアパネルの開閉を案内すると共に、他方にサポートヒンジを備えてドアパネルを支持し、特にドアパネルの自重を利用して自開又は自閉可能にドアパネルをドア用支持パネルに組み付けるドア開閉用グレビティヒンジに関する。

【従来の技術】一般に、ラバトリーブースなどでは、トイレ用のドアパネルを支持パネルに開閉可能に組み付ける場合、この種のグレビティヒンジを用いたものが多く見られる。

従来、グレビティヒンジを用いてドアパネルを支持パネルに取り付ける場合は、たとえば図9に示すように、床面fからの高さ位置調整機能を有する支持金具1で水平度を予め調整してから、その支持金具1で支持パネルpを支えて笠木rに固定している。それから、水平な固定状態にある支持パネルpに対し、ドアパネルdの上部側を、ガイドヒンジh1を用いて回動可能に取り付けると共に、ドアパネルdの下部側を、サポートヒンジh2を用いて回動可能に取り付けて支持する構造になっている。

上方のガイドヒンジh1は、支持パネルpの木口面上側に固定した取付プレート2aにドアパネルd側に固定した枢着具2bを、ガイド軸3を支点として回動可能に連結している。下方のサポートヒンジh2は、支持パネルpの木口面下側に固定した支持アーム4aに、ドアパネルd側に固定した枢着具4bを、固定軸5を支点として回動可能に連結している。特に、サポートヒンジh2は、固定軸5を、図示省略したが、上下一対の円筒状カムに貫挿し、ドアパネルdの開閉時に、円筒状カムが向き合う側に有する互いの傾斜カム面をドアパネルdの自重で支持パネルpを重ね合わせることにより、ドアパネルdを自開又は自閉可能に支持する構造になっている。

しかし、最近、支持パネルpやドアパネルdとして比較的薄板製のものが好んで使用される中で、上述した木口面取付型のグレビティヒンジは、支持パネルpやドアパネルdの薄さによっては、幅狭な木口面にガイドヒンジh1やサポートヒンジh2をねし止めすることが難しく、取り付けに手間がかかって非常に面倒であった。

そこで、従来、薄板製の支持パネルやドアパネルに対しても比較的簡単に取り付けることができる点に着目し、次のような旗蝶番型のグレビティヒンジが使用されている。

旗蝶番型のグレビティヒンジは、図10に示すように、左右に一対の取付板6a・6bを備え、これら取付板の対向する側縁に上下一対の軸筒7a・7bを直列に並設し、これら軸筒内に、固定軸を嵌挿した上下一対の円筒状カム8・9を内設している。そして、片側の取付板6aを支持パネルpの板面にねじ止めする一方、他側の取付板6bをドアパネルdの板面にねじ止めし、ドアパネルdの開閉時は、円筒状カム8・9が向き合う側に有する互いの傾斜カム面8a・9aをドアパネルdの自重で重ね合わせることにより、ドアパネルdを自開又は自閉可能に支持する構造になっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところが、従来の旗蝶番型グレビティヒンジは、取付板6a・6bを支持パネルpとドアパネルdに多数の止めネジを使って面付けするため、それら止めネジや取付板6a・6bが露出し、特に美観性を要求されるラバトリーブースなどでは、とりわけ見栄えが悪いという課題があった。

そこで、本発明は、上述のような従来の課題を解決し、薄板製の支持パネルやドアパネルに対しても簡単に組み付けることができ、しかも見栄えの良好なドア開閉用グレビティヒンジを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】請求項1に記載の発明は、上記課題を解決するために、たとえば以下に示す図示実施の形態のとおり、ドアパネルDの開閉を案内するガイドヒンジH1と、上下一対の円筒状カム25・35が向き合う側に有する互いの傾斜カム面j・k・m・n、v・w・x・yをドアパネルDの自重で重ね合わせることにより自開又は自閉可能にドアパネルDを支持するサポートヒンジH2と、からなるドア開閉用グレビティヒンジHにおいて、前記サポートヒンジH2は、前記ドアパネルDの下端面17に取り付け、傾斜カム面j・k・m・nが下向きの前記上部カム25を筒状カムケース19内に嵌入して固着してなるドア取付手段20と、支持プレート31と、支持プレート31上に立設し外周に雄ねじ部32bを有するアジャストボルト32と、その雄ねじ部32bに内周に有する雌ねじ部33bを螺合させてアジャストボルト32に対し螺合高さ位置を調整可能に嵌着した筒状アジャストケース33と、傾斜カム面v・w・x・yが上向きの前記下部カム35に回転規制状態で基端軸部34aを嵌着させて前記アジャストケース33上に垂設した固定軸34とを備え、前記ドアパネルDの真下で床面F上に支持プレート31を載置する一方、固定軸34の先端軸部34cを前記上部カム25に嵌挿した状態で前記ドア取付手段20を載せて直列に連結するアジャスト手段30とからなることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、図面を参照しつつ、本発明の実施の形態について説明する。

図6に、本発明によるドア開閉用グレビティヒンジを用いてドアパネルを支持パネルに対し組み付けたパネル構造体を示す。パネル構造体10は、たとえばラバトリーブースのトイレ用パネル構造体で、複数の支持パネルPを面一に配設して上方の笠木Rにより一体に連結し、片側の支持パネルPに対し、本発明によるグレビティヒンジHでドアパネルDを組み付ける構造になっている。

さて、パネル構造体10において、支持パネルPおよびドアパネルDは、共に厚さ20mm程度の薄板製で、そのうち支持パネルPは、床面Fからの高さ位置調整機能を有する周知の支持金具11で水平度を予め調整してから、その支持金具11で支えて笠木Rに取り付けている。そして、水平な固定状態にある片側の支持パネルPに対しドアパネルDを、グレビティヒンジHを使って回動可能に組み付ける。グレビティヒンジHは、ドアパネルDの開閉を案内する上方のガイドヒンジH1と、ドアパネルDを開閉可能に支持する下方のサポートヒンジH2とからなる。

ガイドヒンジH1は、図5に示すように、笠木Rに取り付ける金属製の取付プレート13と、ドアパネルDの上端面12に取り付ける樹脂製の取付プレート14とを備える。取付プレート13・14は、共に支持パネルPおよびドアパネルDの厚さに合わせた幅寸法の細長に形成するが、笠木側の取付プレート13は、その先端寄りにガイド軸15を、その基端をかしめて固定的に立設している。ドアパネル側の取付プレート14は、ガイド軸15を軸線周りに回動可能に貫挿する筒穴部14aを設けてなる。

一方、サポートヒンジH2は、図1〜図3に示すように、ドアパネルDの下端面17に固着する上側のドア取付手段20と、ドア取付手段20と連結してドアパネルDを支持する下側のアジャスト手段30とで構成してなる。

ドア取付手段20は、図2に示すように、取付プレート18と、筒状のカムケース19と、上部カム25とを備える。取付プレート18は、ドアパネルDの厚さに合わせた幅サイズで細長な金属板で形成するが、一端側に止めねじ挿通用の取付穴22を設け、他端寄りに一部を拡径にして円形のカム取付板部18aを形成してなる。カム取付板部18aには、中心に嵌め込み穴23を設け、その嵌め込み穴23を間に挟んで両側に一対の係合小穴24を設ける一方、係合小穴24間と直交する両側に円弧状の差し込み穴26を設けている。カムケース19は、上部カム25の外形状に合わせて両端を開放した金属製の円筒材からなり、図中上端縁の対称位置に、差し込み穴26と対応する円弧状の係合凸部19aを突設している。

上部カム25は、樹脂材料により一体成形し、図2(b)に示すように、中心に嵌合丸穴27を形成した内筒部25aを設けると共に、内筒部25aの外周に外筒部25bを設けてなる。内筒部25aには、下端縁〔(図2(b)では上側〕に傾斜カム面j・kを半周ずつ左右に分割して設け、外筒部25bにも、下端縁に傾斜カム面m・nを半周ずつ左右に分割して設けている。この上部カム25では、内筒部25aの傾斜カム面j・kと、外筒部25bの傾斜カム面m・nとの設置位相を180度ずらして逆向きに形成している。さらに、上部カム25は、図2(a)において上端面中央に、取付プレート18の嵌め込み穴23の開口形状に合わせて凸状部25cを設け、凸状部25cの両側に一対の小突起25dを突設している。
