Abstract
Description
【0001】

[0005]
The present invention provides a vehicle motion control device including a front wheel auxiliary steering angle applying unit, a rear wheel auxiliary steering angle applying unit, and a brake device, which minimizes energy loss even when the rear wheel auxiliary steering angle reaches an upper limit. It is an object of the present invention to provide a vehicle motion control device capable of controlling the behavior of a vehicle in a stable direction while suppressing the movement.

[Means for Solving the Problems]
To achieve the above object, a steering wheel steering angle detecting means for detecting a steering wheel steering angle, a vehicle speed detecting means for detecting a vehicle speed, a front wheel auxiliary steering angle providing means for providing an auxiliary steering angle to a front wheel, and an auxiliary steering wheel for a rear wheel. A wheel cylinder for each wheel of the vehicle, using a rear wheel auxiliary steering angle providing means for providing an angle, a master cylinder for generating hydraulic pressure by a driver's brake pedal operation, and an oil pump capable of generating any hydraulic pressure as a hydraulic pressure source A front wheel assist steering angle, a rear wheel assist steering angle, and a brake fluid pressure of each wheel are calculated from a vehicle model based on the detected steering wheel angle and the detected vehicle speed. A vehicle motion control unit that outputs a command signal to an auxiliary steering angle applying unit, a rear wheel auxiliary steering angle applying unit, and a braking unit; A rear wheel limit upper limit arrival determining means for determining whether the angle has reached the upper limit limit, and when the rear wheel auxiliary steering angle has not reached the upper limit limit, the detected steering wheel angle and vehicle speed are detected. , The target rear wheel steering angle is calculated from the vehicle motion equation based on the front wheel steering angle and the rear wheel steering angle, and the vehicle motion control is performed by the rear wheel assist steering applying means. When it reaches, the target front wheel steering angle and the target brake fluid pressure are calculated from the vehicle motion equation based on the front wheel steering angle and the brake fluid pressure based on the detected steering angle, the vehicle speed, and the rear wheel assist steering angle. [Target Steering Angle Calculation in Target Output Value Generation Unit 32]
(Target rear wheel steering angle calculation in target rear wheel steering angle calculation unit 321)
The target rear wheel steering angle δ * is calculated from the target yaw rate ψ ′ * and the target lateral velocity Vy * . Here, the following
(Equation 16)
The following equation 17 is obtained from this model.
(Equation 17)
Therefore, the target front wheel steering angle δ * is expressed by the following equation (18).

However, since the steering angle of the rear wheel steering angle is generally limited, the target rear wheel steering angle is set to a value δ * lim obtained from the following
(Equation 19)
Here, δ * max is the maximum rear wheel steering angle. Also, sign (a) is a function that outputs only the sign of a, and outputs +1 when a = 10 and outputs −1 when a = −10.

[Target Front Wheel Steering Angle and Brake Hydraulic Pressure Calculation in Target Front Wheel Steering Angle and Target Brake Hydraulic Pressure Calculation Unit 322]
When the rear wheel steering angle control is saturated, the vehicle motion control is executed by the front wheel steering angle control and the braking force control. That is, a motion equation based on the yaw angular acceleration generated by the front wheel steering angle and the difference between the left and right brake hydraulic pressures is used. Then, a target front wheel steering angle θ * and a target brake fluid pressure P * br of each wheel are calculated from the target yaw rate ψ ′ * , the target lateral speed Vy * , and the limited target rear wheel steering angle δ * lim .
[0040]
If the yaw angular acceleration generated by the difference between the left and right brake hydraulic pressures is set to ψ ″ * br , the equation of motion of the vehicle is represented by the following equation (20).
(Equation 20)
[0041]
Here, when the limited target rear wheel steering angle δ * lim is known (basically, this control is performed when the rear wheel steering angle is saturated, δ * lim = δ * max ). The target yaw rate ψ ′ * , the target front wheel steering angle θ * for realizing the target lateral acceleration Vy *, and the yaw angular acceleration ψ ″ * br due to the left and right brake hydraulic pressure difference are represented by the following equations (21) and (22). .
(Equation 21)
(Equation 22)
[0042]
Next, the target brake fluid pressure differences P * brf and P * brr for the front and rear wheels are expressed by the following equations (23) and (24) from the yaw angular acceleration ψ ″ * br generated by the left and right brake fluid pressure differences.
(Equation 23)
(Equation 24)
[0043]
Therefore, the target brake fluid pressure of each wheel has the following relationship. Here, W dynf and W dynr are values calculated by the dynamic wheel

(Rear side)
(Equation 26)
However, the following relationship shall be used.

FIG. 15 is a flowchart showing the control content of the vehicle motion control executed in the
[0045]
In step S1, a target yaw rate ψ ′ * and a target lateral speed Vy * are calculated from the steering angle θ operated by the driver and the vehicle speed V.
[0046]
In step S2, a target rear wheel steering angle δ * is calculated.
[0047]
In step S3, it is determined whether or not the target rear wheel steering angle δ * is larger than the maximum rear wheel steering angle δ * max . If smaller, the process proceeds to step S4; otherwise, the process proceeds to step S5.
[0048]
In step S4, the rear wheel steering control is performed only by the rear wheel steering actuator.
[0049]
In step S5, using the target yaw rate に よ り ′ * , the target lateral velocity Vy * , and the rear wheel steering angle maximum value δ * max , the target front wheel steering angle is obtained from the vehicle motion equation of the yaw angular acceleration based on the front wheel steering angle and the left and right brake hydraulic pressure difference. Calculate θ * and the target yaw angular acceleration ψ ″ * br .
[0050]
In step S6, a dynamic wheel load is calculated.
[0051]
In step S7, a front and rear wheel target brake fluid pressure difference is calculated.
[0052]
In step S8, a rear wheel steering angle control and a front wheel steering angle-braking force control are executed.
[0053]
As described above, even when the rear wheel auxiliary steering angle δ has reached the upper limit (δ * max ), the control target can be achieved by the front wheel auxiliary steering and the braking force control, so the braking force Frequent control can be prevented, and energy loss can be minimized (corresponding to claim 1).
Further, when performing the brake control, it is possible to perform an appropriate braking force distribution based on the dynamic wheel loads W dynf and W dynr , and it is possible to improve the vehicle stability while reducing unnecessary braking force as much as possible. it can.
[0054]
In the present embodiment, if the rear wheel steering angle δ is less than the rear wheel maximum steering angle δ * max , the vehicle motion control is executed only by the rear wheel steering angle control. However, the present invention is not limited to this configuration. For example, until the rear wheel steering angle δ reaches the rear wheel maximum steering angle δ * max , the steering control is executed using the front

FIGS. 16 and 17 are time charts when the rear wheel steering angle is saturated and the front wheel steering angle control and the brake control are executed. The results are shown on a dry road assuming a vehicle speed of 170 km / h and a lane change. FIG. 16 shows a case where the dynamic wheel load is not considered, and FIG. 17 shows a case where the brake fluid pressure of the front and rear wheels is corrected based on the dynamic wheel load.
[0056]
16 (a) and 17 (a) show the driver's steering angle and the target front wheel steering angle, FIGS. 16 (b) and 17 (b) show the left master cylinder pressure, and FIG. 16 (c). , 17 (c) represent the right master cylinder pressure, and FIGS. 16 (d), 17 (d) represent the target slip angle and the generated slip angle.
[0057]
As shown by an arrow A in FIG. 16D, the load on the front and rear wheels is changed by the driver depressing the brake, but the same slip fluid pressure is supplied to the front and rear wheels to generate the generated slip angle. Has increased, and the stability of the vehicle has decreased.
[0058]
On the other hand, as indicated by an arrow A in FIG. 17D, when the driver steps on the brake, the load on the front and rear wheels changes, and the brake fluid pressure distribution on the front and rear wheels is changed accordingly. It can be seen that a stable vehicle behavior can be realized without increasing the generated slip angle.
[0059]
In the present embodiment, a hydraulic actuator is used as the rear-wheel steering actuator. However, an electric actuator such as that described in JP-A-11-91609 may be used.
