Abstract
Description
【0001】

【0014】
Δε=r・(1/R1−1/R2)
【0015】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an electric wire bending life prediction method for estimating a bending life until a long strip electric wire is broken by bending.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As is well known, many electric wires are used in automobiles and industrial equipment. Some electric wires are arranged at a position where they are bent, such as a door portion or a seat portion of an automobile, and such an electric wire may be broken due to repeated bending deformation. In order to predict such a situation in advance, there is a method of actually performing a test (bench test) using a sample. However, a bending life curve with respect to the amount of strain change of the electric wire is prepared in advance, and the center of the covering material or the center of the core wire is prepared. There is a method for predicting the bending life by calculating the amount of strain change of one strand and associating it with the bending life curve.
[0003]
For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2002-260460 (prior art 1) and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2002-260459 (prior art 2) disclose a method of predicting the bending life of an electric wire caused by repeated bending deformation at room temperature or an electric wire bundle obtained by bundling the same. ) Are disclosed, and as a method for predicting the bending life of an electric wire or the like under a low temperature including a cold temperature, International Patent Application Publication WO-01 / 08172 (Prior Art 3) is disclosed.
[0004]
According to these flexural life prediction methods, it is possible to evaluate flexural performance and conduct design studies while simulating on a desk using a computer or the like without actually conducting a test. , Which in turn contributes to shortening the design period of an automobile or the like on which the electric wire is mounted.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in a covered electric wire in which a core wire formed by bundling a plurality of strands is covered with a covering material, an electric wire (hereinafter, a long strip electric wire) in which a covering material serving as an outer protective layer is partially removed is used. Exists. In the case of performing the disconnection evaluation and the design study of such a long strip electric wire, as in the above-described
[0007]
One of the reasons is that it is impossible to predict the bending life of the long strip electric wire based on the amount of change in strain of the covering material since the covering material is partially removed.
[0008]
Also, as another reason, the bending radius of the uncovered part of the long strip wire may be significantly smaller in the part where the covering material is removed than in the part covered with the covering material. As shown in FIG. 7, when the bending radius Rc of one of the wires located at the center of the cross section of the
[0009]
From these facts, in the case of a long strip electric wire, there has been no other way but to predict the bending life by actually performing a test (bench test) using a sample.
[0010]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a method for estimating a flex life of an electric wire, which can accurately predict a flex life of a long strip electric wire.

【The invention's effect】
According to the first to third aspects of the present invention, in a wire formed by covering a core wire formed by bundling a plurality of strands with a covering material, a long wire having a part of the covering material removed is provided. When predicting the bending life of a strip wire, first obtain the correlation between the amount of strain change of a single wire formed of the same material as the strand and the measured value of the bending life in advance, and then calculate the correlation By calculating the maximum strain change amount of the innermost wire of the bend out of the plurality of wires, and comparing the calculated maximum strain change amount of the innermost wire of the bend with the correlation. Since the bending life of the electric wire is predicted, only the bending life of the innermost one strand of the bending need be predicted without predicting the bending life of all the core wires. Bending due to computer analysis processing If such perform life prediction, it is possible to greatly reduce the computational load of the computer calculations such settings and maximum strain variation of the finite element model.
