Abstract
【解決手段】 長さ方向に伸長したコア領域と、コア領域の外周に形成されたクラッド領域とを含む屈折率プロファイルを有する光ファイバにおいて、コア領域とクラッド領域の半径及び屈折率プロファイルは、当光ファイバが、1300〜1350nmの波長範囲のゼロ分散波長と、1550nm波長で13〜18ps/nm・kmの範囲の分散値と、0.046〜0.079ps/nm2・kmの範囲のゼロ分散傾斜と、70μm2以上の有効断面積とを有するように選択されていることを特徴とする。

Claims (6)
- 長さ方向に伸長したコア領域と、前記コア領域の外周に形成されたクラッド領域とを含む屈折率プロファイルを有する光ファイバにおいて、
前記コア領域と前記クラッド領域の半径及び屈折率プロファイルは、当該光ファイバが、1300〜1350nmの波長範囲のゼロ分散波長と、1550nm波長で13〜18ps/nm・km範囲の分散値と、0.046〜0.079ps/nm2・kmの範囲のゼロ分散傾斜と、70μm2以上の有効断面積と、を有するように選択されていることを特徴とする光ファイバ。 - コア領域とクラッド領域の半径及び屈折率プロファイルは、当該光ファイバが、1270nm波長で−6.5〜−1.3ps/nm・kmの範囲の負の分散値を有するように選択されている請求項1記載の光ファイバ。
- コア領域とクラッド領域の半径及び屈折率プロファイルは、当該光ファイバが、1610nm波長で14.5〜24.5ps/nm・kmの範囲の分散値を有するように選択されている請求項1記載の光ファイバ。
- 屈折率低下クラッド型(depressed clad type)光ファイバである請求項1記載の光ファイバ。
- 屈折率整合クラッド型(index matched clad type)光ファイバである請求項1記載の光ファイバ。
- コアの半径は4.45〜4.5μmであり、クラッドの半径は10〜10.3μmである請求項1記載の光ファイバ。
