【従来の技術】
野生動物の出没する原野を走行するように作られた車両には、野生動物との衝突によって車体が傷つかないよう図６に示すように車体ｃの前面ｆにグリルガードと称する一種の排障器ｇがしばしば取付けられる。

この排障器ｇは、小動物が勢い良く飛び込んできても車体に傷がつかないように跳ね返すものであるから、極めて強靭な構造とされ、また、各構成部も少々の衝撃では変形しない高強度の材質とされている（特許文献１）。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、このような排障器を装備した車両で市街地を走行中、歩行者等と衝突事故を起こした場合、グリルガードは前述のように強靭に作られていることから人身に与える衝撃は大きく、このため時速１０キロメートル以下といった低速であっても、衝突すれば取り返しのつかない人身事故となる場合があった。

一方、このようなグリルガードは、車体のデザインとしての人気も高く、需要も多い。
従って、このような危険を覚悟の上であえて取り付ける場合もあり、交通事故防止の観点からは好ましくない事態が生じている。

一方、通常の車両については、衝突からの保護を目的として車体前面にバンパーが設けられているが、必ずしも人身に対して安全とは言えず、グリルガードほどではないにしても衝突・接触した際の衝撃は大きい。

この発明は、上記問題を解消し、いわゆるグリルガードとしての外観体裁を備えるが、歩行者と衝突・接触した場合、その衝撃を和らげ人身事故を極力防止し、さらに通常の車両であっても、より優れた対人安全機能を持たせることを課題としてなされたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を達成するため、請求項１の発明は、車体の前縁に設けられる車体バンパーの外表面に当てがうことで前記車体バンパー表面に弾性を付与するプラスチック製のバンパープロテクター部と、該バンパープロテクター部の上面に連接されたグリルガード部とからなり、該グリルガード部は前記本体に対し傾倒可能に立設されてなるものである。

従って、プラスチック製のプロテクター部を、車体バンパーに取付ければ、バンパー表面に弾性が付与され、人体が衝突した場合は容易に弾性変形して衝撃を和らげる。また、グリルガードとしての外観をかもし出すグリルガード部も、バンパープロテクター部に対して傾倒自在に立設されてなるので、人体と衝突してもその衝撃に応じて容易に傾倒し、この結果衝撃が和らげられ、これらが総和されて、衝突時の負傷の程度が著しく軽減される。

しかもプラスチック製のバンパープロテクター部とその上面に連接されたグリルガード部とで、グリルガードとしての外観も付与され、車体外観の趣味性も十分に満たされる。

請求項２の発明は、請求項１記載の対人安全グリルガード付きバンパープロテクターにおいてプラスチック製のバンパープロテクター部が、内部に緩衝材の充填された中空の成形体とされ、車体バンパー表面に変形可能な容積部を形成するようにされてなるものである。

【実施の形態】
次に、この発明の実施の形態である対人安全グリルガードについて説明する。

この発明の実施の形態である対人安全グリルガード１は、車体ｃの前縁ｆに設けられる車体バンパー２の外表面に沿って当てがわれることで車体バンパー２表面に弾性を付与する材質、形状、図示例の場合は図２に断面を示すように車体バンパー２表面に隙間無く嵌合される縁３を有し、車体バンパー２表面との間に空室４を形成するように断面が器状に形成され、その内部に緩衝材５ａを充填したプラスチック製のバンパープロテクター部５と、このバンパープロテクター部５の上面に傾倒可能なように連接されたグリルガード部６とから構成されている。
なお、上記充填材５ａは、発泡硬質樹脂からなり、衝撃があれば外面から次第に破壊されていくことで緩衝する機能を有したものが好適に使用される。

また、バンパープロテクター部５の縁３の車体バンパー２の周辺に対応する部分には、車体バンパー２の縁に引っかかるフック部３１が設けられ、また、車体バンパー２の前縁に当たる位置に突起３２が設けられ、このフック部３１と突起３２により本体５が車体バンパー２外表面に位置決めされ、図示は省略されているが縁３部分でビス、ボルトなど締結金具により容易に外れないようしっかりと取り付けられている。

また、上記バンパープロテクター部５を形成するプラスチックとしては、人体と接触した時は容易に変形するが、通常の走行状態における風圧や車体の振動では変形しない程度の硬度とされ、またプラスチックとしては、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ＡＢＳ樹脂、四フッ化エチレン、ポリアミド樹脂、ポリカーボネート、ポリイミド、ポリフェニレン、ポリエステル、ポリエーテルなど耐候性ならびに強度に優れる樹脂が使用される。

また、グリルガードとしての外観をかもし出すグリルガード部材６の材質としては、薄い鋼管やステンレス管を用いても良いが、薄厚ステンレス管、アルミ軽合金製管、金属光沢のコーティングを施した硬質プラスチック管など軽量な材質のもの、あるいは軟質なプラスチック製のもので衝撃により容易に曲折するものを用いることが好ましい。

また、このグリルガード部材６をバンパープロテクター部５に取り付ける、傾倒自在な取付け構造としては、ゴムによる弾性を利用して自由に屈曲できるようゴムブロック（図示せず）を介して接続するほか図３に示すような機構的な接続構造とすることもできる。

すなわち図３において、７はバンパープロテクター部５の上面に形成された半球状の陥凹部を示し、この陥凹部７を取り付け座として下端６ａが半球状に膨出されたグリルガード部材６が当接され、このグリルガード部材６中に配設したワッシャ８に先端を係止させてねじロッド９をバンパープロテクター部５側へと貫通し、この貫通部に圧縮ばね１０を外嵌し、ボルト９にねじ嵌合されるナット１１を締め付けることで圧縮ばね１０を圧縮し、この時にグリルガード部材６に加わる引っ張り力で、グリルガード部材６が取付け座７に起立状態に保持されるように構成したものである。

【発明の効果】
