Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention particularly relates to an integrally formed golf head having no joints.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Golf heads have various standards depending on the hitting effect of a golf ball, such as wood heads, iron heads, and putter heads. As shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, the head body (50) and the face (60) of the conventional iron head (5) are individually manufactured and then welded to each other and fixed. A ring-shaped positioning groove (51) is formed on the front surface of the head body (50), and a conical hole (52) is formed in the center. The size of the positioning groove (51) is equal to the face (60). The face (60) is placed in the positioning groove (51) and becomes an iron head (5) by welding work.
[0003]
In the method of manufacturing the head main body (50) and the face (60) of the iron head (5), first, a mold for manufacturing the head main body (50) and the face (60) is manufactured. After the liquid is injected, a wax model of the head body (50) and the face (60) is manufactured, and then a sand mold is formed on the surfaces of the wax model of the head body (50) and the face (60) by impregnation. Is produced. After separating the wax model and the sand mold, the metal solution is injected into the sand mold and solidified. Further, after the sand mold is broken individually, the head body (50) and the face (60) are removed. It can be taken out.
[0004]
The reason why the head main body (50) and the face (60) are manufactured by this individually manufactured method is that the head main body (50) responds to the curved motion of hitting the golf ball, so that a conical hole (52) is formed inside. Therefore, if the wax model of the head main body (50) and the face (60) are integrally formed, there is a problem that the wax model cannot be separated from the mold.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the present invention]
However, as shown in FIG. 11, the iron head (5) manufactured by the above manufacturing method is different regardless of how the face (60) is firmly welded to the positioning groove (51) of the head body (50). Because of the coupling, when hitting the ball, there is a problem that the welded portion between the outer edge of the face (60) and the head main body (50) is torn, and furthermore, this welding method increases manufacturing time and work personnel. There is a problem that the manufacturing cost increases.
[0006]
Accordingly, the present invention has been filed for the present invention, which has an object of providing an integrally formed golf head having no joints.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The invention of
In the wax model manufacturing operation (A), a wax solution is injected into the first mold (10) and the second mold (20), respectively, and a wax model is manufactured.
The wax model joining work (B) is united by bonding the wax models together,
In the sand mold manufacturing operation (C), after the sand mold (30) is manufactured on the surface of the wax model bonded together, the wax model is melted at a high temperature and is poured out from the sand mold (30). A protrusion (31) is formed inside the sand mold (30) from which the model has been poured out, and an injection port (32) is formed on one side. The melting metal solution is used for the golf head manufacturing operation (D). (32) is injected into the inside of the sand mold (30), and after solidifying the metal solution, the sand mold (30) is crushed and the golf head (4) is taken out. Method and
The invention according to claim 2 of the present application provides the golf head manufacturing method according to
[0008]
[Action]
The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems, and by joining individual wax models to produce a sand mold on the surface, a metal solution is injected into the sand mold to produce an integrated golf head. Therefore, a golf head having excellent structural strength can be obtained.
