時間差T10=(T2−T1)−(T3/4)

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an inverter circuit that generates a high-frequency current based on a commercial AC power supply, and an induction heating cooker that heats an object to be heated by supplying the high-frequency current to a heating unit.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, an induction heating cooker that controls the inverter circuit based on a phase difference between an output voltage and an output current of the inverter circuit is a variable frequency type, and can change a heating output smoothly from a low level to a high level. There is an advantage. As a prior art of such a heating cooker, there is one disclosed in
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent No. 2856788
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, in the method in which the frequency variable control is performed such that the phase difference between the output voltage and the output current of the inverter circuit is constant, the switching frequency of the inverter circuit increases as the input power setting (heating output setting) decreases. . Then, when control is performed by detecting the phase difference, there is a problem that a change in the phase difference is small, the resolution is reduced, and it is difficult to perform fine control.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide an induction heating cooker that can improve control accuracy when controlling an inverter circuit with a variable frequency.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, an induction heating cooker according to claim 1 heats an object to be heated by supplying an inverter circuit that generates a high-frequency current based on a commercial AC power supply and the high-frequency current to a heating unit. In things
According to the input power setting, the time difference between the reference phase of the output voltage and the output current of the inverter circuit, or the phase difference between the output voltage and the output current, so that either of the phase difference between the output voltage and the output current, An inverter output control circuit for variably controlling the output is provided.
[0007]
That is, the time difference between the reference phases can be detected with a certain difference even in a high frequency region. Therefore, if the control is performed so that either the time difference between the reference phases of the output voltage and the output current or the phase difference between the output voltage and the output current is constant according to the input power setting, the control is optimized. And control accuracy can be further improved.
[0008]
In this case, as described in
[0009]
That is, when the input power set value increases, the time difference needs to be shortened accordingly, and when the input power set value has decreased, the time difference needs to be controlled correspondingly long. In the induction heating, control is mainly performed in a frequency region in which the load exhibits inductiveness. Therefore, if the switching frequency of the inverter circuit is increased or decreased in accordance with the setting of the time difference as described above, it becomes possible to set a desired input power in a frequency region where the load exhibits inductiveness.
[0010]
Further, as set forth in claim 3, when the input power setting belongs to the low output region, the inverter output control circuit controls the time difference between the reference phases to be constant, and the input power setting is set to the high output region. If it does, it is preferable to switch the control mode so that the phase difference between the output voltage and the output current of the inverter circuit is constant.
[0011]
That is, the switching frequency of the inverter circuit decreases as the input power setting increases. Then, when the switching frequency is lowered, the resolution is reduced when trying to detect the time difference between the reference phases. Therefore, according to the configuration of the third aspect, it is possible to perform high-precision control suitable for each frequency domain.
[0012]
Further, as described in
[0013]
That is, in the conventional induction heating cooker, the heating output (input power) is reduced to 1 / of the set value in order to stop the control by determining that there is no load during the heating control. (For example, if the output setting is 2000 W, it is 1000 W).
[0014]
However, even if the load is appropriate for induction heating, depending on the material, a large output current flows, or a long time for the current to flow to the freewheeling diode connected in parallel to the switching element forming the inverter circuit. (The frequency setting becomes higher). For such a load, the temperature rise of the switching element becomes large, so that it is necessary to keep the input power setting low. However, if the no-load determination is performed as in the related art, the lower limit of the setting cannot be set low, which impairs stew cooking and the like.
Therefore, if the lower limit value of the input current value is determined for the switching frequency determined according to the input power setting and no-load determination is performed based on the lower limit value, the heating output can be lower. Can be set to a value.
[0015]
In this case, as described in claim 5, the inverter circuit is configured as a half-bridge type,
In the case of stopping the heating control, the inverter output control circuit stops the switching of the upper or lower arm side switching element constituting the inverter circuit first, and then, after a certain time has elapsed, the lower or upper arm side. It is preferable to configure so as to stop the switching of the switching element.
[0016]
With this configuration, the supply of the high-frequency current to the heating coil is stopped by first turning off the upper or lower arm side switching element of the inverter circuit. Then, if the switching element on the lower or upper arm side is turned off, the current flowing between the inverter circuit and the heating coil can be reduced as slowly as possible.
[0017]

[0036]
Then, the control circuit 54 waits until the count value of the timer reaches the set value TM4 (step S14). When the count value reaches (“YES”), the control circuit 54 internally generates an interrupt and performs detection for performing various measurements and detections. The routine is started (step S14a), and the level of the
[0037]
After executing step S15, the process returns to step S1. Since the level of the
[0038]
In the above processing, assuming that the carrier frequency of the PWM control is changed within a range of, for example, 20 kHz to 100 kHz, the resolution (count cycle) of the timer is 0.1 μm in consideration of the insertion of the dead time. Requires more than a second.
[0039]
Further, when the detection of the time difference or the phase difference is performed in synchronization with the carrier wave period, it is necessary to measure the time from the point when the upper arm IGBT 11 is turned on by the PWM signal to the zero cross point of the output current of the inverter circuit 9. Also in this case, when the carrier frequency is 100 kHz, the period is 10 μs, so that the time difference measurement also requires a resolution of 0.1 μs or more.
[0040]
FIG. 4 is a flowchart of a detection processing routine executed by the control circuit 54. In this routine, the control circuit 54 stands by until a measurement start timing occurs (step A0). The measurement start timing is given by a period flag. The cycle flag is a flag generated by the cycle flag generator 52 as described above, and is a flag indicating a predetermined period excluding the vicinity of the zero-cross point of the current for each half cycle of the commercial AC power supply.
[0041]
When the control circuit 54 recognizes the occurrence of the measurement start timing by the rise of the cycle flag (step A0, “YES”), it subsequently waits for the occurrence of an interrupt (step A1). The interrupt here is an internal interrupt generated in the above-described step S14a of FIG. 2, and is generated in the PWM carrier cycle. Then, when the interrupt occurs ("YES"), the control circuit 54 reads the input voltage by the A / D converter 53 (step A2).
[0042]
If the input voltage read at this time rises or falls sharply with respect to the previous value (step A3, “YES”), the occurrence of a lightning surge or a power failure in the commercial AC power supply has occurred. For this reason, a stop signal is output to the
[0043]
In steps A5, A6, and A7, the control circuit 54 reads the output voltage, output current, and input current of the inverter circuit 9, respectively. Note that the waveform when these voltages and currents are A / D converted and read is actually a waveform on which a PWM carrier is superimposed. However, the carrier is detected by performing detection in accordance with the PWM control cycle. The superimposed waveform can be handled as it is.
[0044]
Next, the control circuit 54 detects how many kHz the oscillation frequency of the
[0045]
Here, the lower limit value of the input current corresponding to the switching frequency is set according to the no-load determination curve shown in FIG. FIG. 9 shows the results of measuring the A / D conversion value of the input current when the inventors changed the switching frequency of the inverter circuit for pots made of various materials. As a general tendency, the input current value increases as the frequency decreases.
[0046]
If the pan is to be removed from the top plate during the heating control, the input current value decreases because the output current is not used for heating. In addition, the switching frequency is lowered to maintain the lowered input current value constant. Therefore, the no-load determination can be reliably performed by setting the no-load determination curve as shown in FIG. Further, the no-load determination may be performed by performing a load material determination process and setting the lower limit value to be different depending on the determined material (for example, according to a curve of each material shown in FIG. 9).
[0047]
If the switching frequency is equal to or higher than the lower limit in step A9 ("NO"), the control circuit 54 determines whether the switching frequency detected in step A8 belongs to the high frequency region (step A10). Here, for example, when the maximum input power is 3 kW, when the low input region is set to less than 600 W, the threshold value for determining whether or not it belongs to the high frequency region is set to 40 kHz for the iron pan.
[0048]
That is, the high frequency region corresponds to a region where the input power setting (heating output setting) is relatively small (low output region), and the low frequency region is a region where the input power setting is relatively large (high output region). ). If it belongs to the high-frequency region ("YES"), the process proceeds to step A11 to detect the time difference. If it does not belong to the high-frequency region ("NO"), the process proceeds to step A12 and the output voltage-output current Is detected.
[0049]
Here, the time difference detection process in step A11 will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 5 is a flowchart showing the contents of the time difference detection processing, and FIG. 6 is a timing chart corresponding to the detection processing. First, the control circuit 54 reads the counter value T1 of the (free-run) counter in synchronization with the rise of the output signal (FIG. 6A) of the inverter voltage phase detection circuit 20 (step B1). Next, the counter value T2 of the counter is read in synchronization with the rise of the output signal (FIG. 6C) of the capacitor voltage phase detection circuit 22 (step B2).
[0050]
However, the phase of the output signal of the
Time difference T10 = (T2−T1) − (T3 / 4)
Is calculated, but the 90-degree delayed phase is subtracted in the second term on the right side. That is,
Since T3 corresponds to the switching cycle (TM3 in FIG. 2), 1/4 thereof corresponds to a phase of 90 degrees.
[0051]
Then, the control circuit 54 adds the time difference T10 to the accumulator TS, accumulates the accumulator TS, and increments a counter TC indicating the number of times of accumulation (step B3). Then, the process returns to the main routine. For example, in the case of an iron pot with an input power setting of 2 kW, the phase difference is set to 35.5 degrees. At that time, since the switching frequency (PWM carrier frequency) is 26 kHz, the time difference T10 is controlled to be about 3.8 μs.
[0052]
On the other hand, in the phase difference detection processing in step A12, the time difference T10 obtained in step B3 is calculated as follows to obtain the phase difference PD.
Phase difference PD = T10 / T3 × 360 (degrees)
Here, FIG. 4 is referred to again. After execution of step A11 or A12, it is determined whether or not a measurement end timing has occurred (step A13). The measurement end timing is the falling of the period flag. If it is not the measurement end timing ("NO"), the process returns to step A1, and if it is the measurement end timing ("YES"), the process goes to step A14.
[0053]
In step A14, an averaging process of the time difference (or the phase difference) is performed. That is, an average value of a plurality of time difference (or phase difference) data measured during a period in which the cycle flag is set within a half cycle of the commercial AC power supply is obtained. For example, in the case of time difference data, the average value TT = TS / TC is obtained. Then, the obtained average value is represented by V P1 Is output to the difference comparison circuit 25 (step A15). This signal V P1 Is output to the
[0054]
Then, the control circuit 54 calculates an effective value for the input voltage, the input current, the output voltage, and the output current of the inverter circuit 9 obtained in steps A2, A5 to A7 (step A16). As is well known, the effective value is obtained, for example, by the square root of the mean square value obtained for n data data_1, data_2,..., Data_n. These values are used for controlling the heating of the IH cooking heater.
[0055]
Next, when calculating the input power (input voltage × input current) (step A17), the control circuit 54 compares the input power (set power) set by the user with the calculated input power (actual power). (Step A18). If the former is larger than the latter ("YES"), the setting signal V in the time difference / phase
[0056]
FIG. 4 shows the detection performed for a half cycle of the commercial AC power supply. The effective value calculated in step A16 is further evaluated by calculating an average value for a plurality of cycles. In addition, since the detection of voltage, current, and the like is performed in units of a half cycle of the commercial AC power supply, if the input current setting is changed by a user operation, the PWM control cycle is changed near the zero crossing point of the current waveform. It has become to be. That is, the carrier frequency changes during a period when the power supply current level is relatively low.
[0057]
Here, the control circuit 54 switches between the time difference constant control and the phase difference constant control according to the determination of the frequency domain in step A10, which will be described with reference to FIGS. In FIG. 7, the time difference control is performed based on the time difference T10, and the phase difference control is performed based on the phase difference PD = T10 / T3 × 360 (degrees).
[0058]
Then, as shown in FIG. 8, when the frequency changes, the time difference T10 changes directly with the change, but the phase difference PD relatively changes at a ratio to the period T3. Accordingly, in the high frequency region, a difference in the detected value is more likely to occur when the time difference T10 is detected. On the other hand, in the region where the frequency is low, the above relationship is reversed, so that a difference in the detected value is more likely to occur when the phase difference PD is detected than when the time difference T10 is detected.
[0059]
If the switching frequency is lower than the lower limit in step A9 ("YES"), the control circuit 54 performs a heating control stop process in steps A21 to A22. First, the IGBT 11, which is the upper arm of the inverter circuit 9, is turned off (step A21, see FIG. 10B). Then, the power supply from the DC power supply circuit 3 is cut off. Then, after waiting until a predetermined time has elapsed (step A22, "YES"), the control circuit 54 turns off the
[0060]
As described above, according to the present embodiment, the control circuit 54 of the induction heating cooker determines the phase difference between the output voltage and the output current of the inverter circuit 9 or the time difference between their reference phases according to the input power setting. Based on this, the
[0061]
In addition, the control circuit 54 decreases the switching frequency of the inverter circuit 9 when shortening the time difference between the reference phases according to the input power setting, and increases the switching frequency of the inverter circuit 9 when increasing the time difference. Therefore, in a region where the load exhibits inductiveness, desired input power setting can be performed in accordance with the time difference setting.
[0062]
Further, during the heating control, the control circuit 54 performs a no-load determination based on whether or not the input current value for the determined switching frequency has dropped below the lower limit value. Since control is performed so as to stop, the heating output can be set to a lower value than in the conventional drinking load determination method.
[0063]
Further, when stopping the heating control, the control circuit 54 stops the switching of the IGBT 11 on the upper arm side constituting the inverter circuit 9 first, and then switches the
[0064]
The present invention is not limited to the embodiment described above and shown in the drawings, and the following modifications or extensions are possible.
The detection processing shown in FIG. 4 is not limited to be performed in synchronization with the PWM control cycle, and may be performed at intervals of, for example, about 200 μsec.
The inverter control circuit may be configured using a DSP and a CISC microcomputer instead of the RISC microcomputer. The invention is not limited thereto, and may be configured by a logic circuit or an analog circuit similar to that of
The timing of changing the carrier frequency is not necessarily limited to a half cycle of the commercial AC power supply cycle, and may be a multiple of the half cycle.
The frequency may be varied stepwise according to the input power value to perform the frequency variable control.
When stopping the heating control, the switching element on the lower arm side may be stopped first, and then the switching element on the upper arm side may be stopped after a certain time has elapsed.
[0065]
【The invention's effect】
According to the induction heating cooker of the present invention, the inverter output control circuit, according to the input power setting, the time difference between the reference phase of the output voltage and the output current of the inverter circuit, or the output voltage and the output current Since the output of the inverter circuit is frequency-variably controlled so that any one of the phase differences is constant, it is possible to optimize the control by selecting an appropriate control mode according to the frequency domain, thereby improving control accuracy. Can be improved.
