本発明は、業務用布団カバーの洗濯及びロールアイロン作業の効率化を大幅に向上することが出来る柄物布団カバーに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
病院や老人ホームなどにて使用される業務用布団に装着するカバーにおいて、近年ファッション化が進み、従来の白地やカラー無地の布団カバーからプリントを施した柄物布団カバーの需要が拡大している。布団カバーの上面布、下面布の両方、又は一方にプリント地を使用することから、プリント地の洗濯堅牢度の問題がある。使用染料に顔料を用いることで、プリント地の両面を使用することは出来ず、布団に布団カバーを装着して使用後、該布団カバー脱却時には裏返しの状態になる。

これを、さらに表返して洗濯し、仕上げロールアイロンを行なわなくてはならない。勿論、裏返しのまま洗濯することは自由であるが、洗濯・アイロン仕上げした布団カバーを納品する際には表返ししなくてはならない。この表返し作業はリネルサプライ業者(洗濯リース業者)にとって大きな負担となってる。中堅業者で一日に８０００〜１００００枚あり、これだけの布団カバーを表返しする作業に１０人以上の人員が必要となっている。

従来の柄物プリント布団カバーは、上面布の表面と裏面の捺染状態が、表面に比較して裏面が極めて不鮮明な為に、これら両面を使用することは出来ない。すなわち、布団から脱却した裏返し状態で使用するには問題がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このように、従来の業務用布団カバーには上記のごとき問題がある。本発明が解決しようとする課題はこの問題点であり、布団から脱却して裏返し状態の布団カバーを、洗濯する際に表返しする必要のない業務用布団カバーを提供する。

【課題を解決する為の手段】
本発明に係る布団カバーは幾何柄先染織物を使用し、表面と裏面が同一柄と成っている。そこで、該先染織物を布団カバーの上面布及び下面布の両方、又は一方に用い、布団カバーの４辺のうち３辺は２重縫製とし、残りの１辺に開口部を設けたものである。従って、表裏両面を用いることが出来、表返し、裏返しの不要な布団カバーと成る。

そこで、汚れた布団カバーを布団から脱却する場合、該布団カバーは裏返し状態となるが、表返しすることなくそのままの状態で洗濯し、ロールアイロンがかけられる。先染織物を使用している為に、表面と裏面は同一色彩であり同一柄が形成されることで表返しする必要はなく、そのまま布団に装着される。以下、本発明に係る実施例を図面に基づいて詳細に説明する。

【実施例】
本発明の布団カバーは長方形をした上面布と下面布を有して、その３辺は２重縫製され、１辺は開口部となっている。図１は本発明の布団カバーを示している外観図であり、３辺１ａ，１ｂ，１ｃは縫製され、残りの１辺１ｄは縫製されることなく開口部２となっていて、布団が出し入れされるように構成している。

図２は図１のＡ−Ａ断面拡大図であり、上面布３と下面布４は同図に示すように縫い合わされ、縁８が外に露出しないように２重縫製と成っている。すなわち、第１縫製６を行なった後で、裏返して第２縫製７が行なわれ、上記1辺の開口部２には所々に紐５ａ，５ｂが止着されている。該紐５ａ，５ｂは、開口部２の上面布3及び下面布４の縁８，８を丸めると共に、丸められた縁５，５と共に縫付けられている。

図３は本発明の布団カバーを裏返した状態の断面図を示している。同図に示すように辺１ｂは2重縫製されている為に上面布3及び下面布4の縁８，８は第2縫製7にて外部へ露出することはない。一方、開口部２においても上面布3及び下面布4の縁８，８は紐５ａ，５ｂと共に丸められている為に露出しない。勿論、紐５ａ，５ｂの端も露出することはない。

ところで、本発明の布団カバーは図2に示すような状態であっても、図3に示すような裏返し状態であっても布団に装着して使用できるように構成されている。ところが、本発明の布団カバーは業務用であるが上面布3及び下面布4の両方、又は上面布３には幾何柄模様が形成され、カラフルな色彩が設けられている訳で、裏返した状態であっても上記柄模様及び色彩が同じであって、鮮明でなくてならない。

そこで、本発明に係る布団カバーの上面布3及び下面布４、又は上面布３だけに先染織物が使用されている。先染織物である上面布3及び下面布4は表面と裏面が同一色彩・模様と成っていて、図２に示す布団カバーと図3に示す裏返し状態の布団カバーとは同じ外観となっている。

ここで、先染織物に使用される糸の素材に関しては、綿１００％及びポリエステルと綿の混紡糸、或いは特に限定されるものではないが耐久性、肌さわり、吸汗性、乾燥性、強度、染色性、ロールアイロンの耐熱性からポリエステル８０〜２０％、綿２０〜８０％の範囲で、特にポリエステル５０〜３０％、綿５０〜７０％が好ましい。

ポリエステルの割合が多くなれば、吸汗性、アイロン熱の耐熱性、肌さわりが劣り、これに反して綿の割合が多くなれば強度、耐久性、乾燥性が劣ることから、上記の範囲が好ましい。

そして、先染織物に使用される糸の太さ(番手)については、＃５〜＃６０の範囲が好ましい。この先染織物に使用される糸について、＃5未満の場合には糸が太くてゴワゴワして肌さわりが悪く、布団カバーには適していない。一方、使用する糸が＃６０以上では、肌さわりは非常に良いが、耐久性、強度に欠けることから、繰り返し使用される業務用布団カバーには適していない。

従って、好ましくは＃１０〜＃４０、特に好ましくは＃２０〜＃３０とするのが適している。この範囲であるならば、所要の耐久性、吸汗性、乾燥性、肌さわりが得られて良好な布団カバーと成る。

さらに、打込み数は１インチ間に入る縦糸と横糸の本数であり、縦糸が３０〜１５０本、横糸は３０〜９０本の範囲で、使用糸番手及び経済性等を総合的に判断して、好ましくは縦糸が４０〜９０本、横糸が４０〜６０本の先染織物とすることで、所要の織物の強度及び耐久性、吸汗性、乾燥性が保持される。

先染織物は糸の状態で染色加工し、これを用いて製織したものであり、織り上がった先染織物は表面と裏面は同色、同柄に仕上がることになる。本発明は、この先染織物を上面布３と下面布４に使用している。

先染織物に使用する糸は、上記ポリエステルと綿の混紡糸を用いて、これを染色する場合、ポリエステルサイドは分散染料を用い、綿サイドはスレン染料を用いることで、先染織物から成る業務用布団カバーの耐洗濯性が大幅に向上し、３０回の洗濯後も色落ちなどによる変色は極めて少なく、日常の使用に耐える品質を保持することが出来る。

以上述べたように、本発明に係る業務用布団カバーはその上面布と下面布、又は上面布だけに先染織物を使用したものであり、次のような効果を得ることが出来る。

【発明の効果】
本発明に係る布団カバーの少なくとも上面布は先染織物が使用されているために、カラフルな布団カバーとなる。そして該布団カバーの開口部を除いた他の辺は２重縫製がなされている為に、裏返しても上面布及び下面布の縁が外部に露出することはない。しかも、先染織物が用いられていることで裏返した場合も同じ色彩、柄が形成されている。

従って、汚れた布団カバーを布団から脱却する際には裏返し状態となるが、表返しして洗濯する必要はなく、そのまま洗濯してロールアイロンが掛けられ、そして布団には裏返しのまま装着される。表返して洗濯しなくてはならない従来の柄物プリント布団カバーに比較して作業性は大幅に向上する。又、先染織物に使用される糸を＃２０〜＃３０とすれば、耐久性、吸汗性、乾燥性、肌さわりを兼ね備えた布団カバーとなる。

一方、先染織物に使用される糸として綿とポリエステルの混紡糸を用いる場合、ポリエステルは分散染料を用い、綿はスレン染料を用いることで、該布団カバーの耐洗濯性は大幅に向上し、色落ちによる変色は極めて少なくなる。
