コンバインは、図1、図2に示すように、左右のクローラ走行装置1を備えた走行機体2の前部に、植立穀稈を引き起こした後刈り取って後方に搬送する刈取部3を着脱自在にかつ装着状態で昇降自在に連結し、前記走行機体2に、前記刈取部3からの穀稈を脱穀処理する脱穀装置4と脱穀穀粒を貯溜するタンク5と搭乗型の操縦部6とを、脱穀装置4の左右横脇にタンク5が配置しかつタンク5の前部に操縦部6が配置する状態で搭載して構成されている。

しかも、刈取部3を走行機体2から外す際、ワイヤ9a,9bを外す必要があるが、上記の構成では、受け部材12を固定部6aから外し、かつ、連結部8Aをレバー本体8Bから外すことでこのワイヤ9a,9bの端部をアッセンブルとして取り扱えるから、以後においてワイヤ9a,9bを連結する際、連結部8Aをレバー本体8Bに設定姿勢で取り付け、受け部材12を固定部6aに設定姿勢で取り付けることにより、特別な調整作業を要することなく所定の連係状態に操作レバー8と分草杆7とを作業性良く連動させることができる。
その上、操作レバー8に対する摩擦保持に加えて予備摩擦保持手段による分草杆の直接的な姿勢保持を行うことができるようになっているから、例えば、操作レバー8に対する摩擦保持に機能不全が発生したり、ワイヤ9a,9bの切断などの不測の事態が発生しても分草杆7を確実に各姿勢で摩擦保持することができる。
