Description

【0001】

Conduct.
[0003]
In this connector device, there is a problem that the fitting / removing force is reduced due to the demand for a low profile of the plug connector body and the receptacle connector body and a narrow pitch of the contact group. Further, when soldering the contact group to the land group on the substrate, there is a problem that the flux adheres to the contact group and causes contact failure.
[0004]
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
An object of the present invention is to obtain a connector device that has a large fitting / removing force and can prevent contact failure due to adhesion of flux to a contact group, based on the above-mentioned problem awareness of conventional devices.
[0005]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention has a plug connector body and a receptacle connector body that is in a fitting relationship with the plug connector body, and the plug connector body and the receptacle connector body are each soldered to a land group on each substrate, In the connector device having a contact group that conducts to each other in a fitted state, the plug connector body has a bottom wall along the board, and an insertion vertical wall that is connected to the bottom wall and fits in the fitting recess of the receptacle connector body. The contact group of the plug connector main body includes a soldering leg portion along the board-side surface of the bottom wall, and a contact group facing the fitting recess of the receptacle connector main body passing through the bottom wall and along the inner surface of the insertion vertical wall. It has a rising leg portion that comes into contact with the U-shaped portion along the tip of the insertion vertical wall, and the thickness of the rising leg portion including the insertion vertical wall of the plug connector body is the U-shaped portion side. It is characterized in that the taper is attached to throat thicker.
[0006]
The contact group of the plug connector body is preferably formed by insert molding in the plug connector body.
[0007]
It is desirable to form a protrusion that engages the tip of the contact group of the receptacle connector body in the fitted state of the plug connector body and the receptacle connector body at the tip of the rising leg of the contact group of the plug connector body. .
[0008]
The contact group facing the fitting recess of the receptacle connector main body includes a U-shaped contact leg and an inverted U-shape obtained by bending the tip of the U-shaped contact leg toward the U-shaped contact leg. If the tip edge of the inverted U-shaped folded portion is engaged with the lower surface of the projection of the contact group on the plug connector side in the fitted state of the plug connector body and the receptacle connector body, the plug connector Combined with the action of tapering the rising wall of the contact group on the side, a large fitting / removing force can be obtained.

[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention will be described below based on the embodiment shown in FIGS. This connector device includes a plug connector 10 fixed to the board B1 and a receptacle connector (receptacle connector) 20 fixed to another board B2. The plug connector 10 includes a plug connector body (insulator) 11 made of an insulating material such as a synthetic resin, and a contact group 12 held by the plug connector body 11. The plug connector main body 11 includes a bottom wall 11a along the board B1, an insertion vertical wall 11b that is orthogonal to the bottom wall 11a and forms a planar rectangle as a whole, and a center positioning protrusion 11c positioned at the center of the insertion vertical wall 11b. It has. The insertion vertical wall 11b includes a pair of long side insertion vertical walls 11b1 and a short side insertion vertical wall 11b2, and the pair of long side insertion vertical walls 11b1 and the center positioning protrusion 11c are arranged in parallel to each other.
[0011]
The receptacle connector 20 includes a receptacle connector body (insulator) 21 made of an insulating material such as synthetic resin, and a contact group 22 held by the receptacle connector body 21. The receptacle connector main body 21 includes a bottom wall 21a along the board B2, an external vertical wall 21b that is orthogonal to the bottom wall 21a and forms a planar rectangle as a whole, and a central vertical wall 21c positioned at the center of the external vertical wall 21b. I have. A fitting recess 23 for receiving the insertion vertical wall 11b of the plug connector 10 is formed between the outer vertical wall 21b and the central vertical wall 21c. The outer diameter vertical wall 21b includes a pair of long-side outer shape vertical walls 21b1 and short-side outer shape vertical walls 21b2, and the center vertical wall 21c has a positioning recess 21c1 that receives the center positioning protrusion 11c of the plug connector body 11. are doing.
[0012]
In the plug connector 10 and the receptacle connector 20 described above, the pair of long side insertion vertical walls 11b1 of the plug connector body 11 is fitted between the pair of long side outer shape vertical walls 21b1 and the center vertical wall 21c of the receptacle connector body 21. At the same time, the center positioning protrusion 11c is fitted into the positioning recess 21c1 to be fitted into the recess 23.
[0013]
The contact group 12 of the plug connector 10 is provided so as to be aligned in the longitudinal direction of the long side insertion vertical wall 11b1. Each contact 12 includes a soldering leg portion 12a along the surface of the bottom wall 11a of the plug connector main body 11 on the board B1 side, and a rising leg portion 12b passing through the bottom wall 11a and along the inner surface of the long side insertion vertical wall 11b1. And a U-shaped portion 12c along the tip of the long side insertion vertical wall 11b1. The “inner surface” of the insertion vertical wall 11b1 means a surface that is not exposed to the outside of the inner and outer surfaces of the insertion vertical wall 11b1, and the rising leg 12b penetrates the bottom wall 11a and reaches this surface. Yes. The U-shaped portion 12c is located only at the distal end portion of the long side insertion vertical wall 11b1, and does not extend to the substrate B1 side of the outer surface. That is, the long side insertion vertical wall 11b1 is exposed at a portion of the distance A (FIGS. 1 and 2) from the soldering leg portion 12a on the outer surface of the long side insertion vertical wall 11b1.
[0014]
The rising leg 12b is tapered so that the thickness including the long side insertion vertical wall 11b1 becomes thicker toward the U-shaped portion 12c. That is, the extension line (surface) 12x (FIG. 1) of the inner surface of the rising leg portion 12b forms an angle α with the orthogonal line (surface) to the substrate B1. Further, a protrusion 12d is formed at the tip of the rising leg 12b.
[0015]
The above contact group 12 is insert-molded in the plug connector body 11. When the contact group 12 is fixed to the plug body 11 by press-fitting, a hole is formed in the plug connector body 11 at the time of press-fitting, whereas according to insert molding, a hole (gap between the contact group 12 is formed in the plug connector body 11). ) Is not formed. For this reason, when the soldering leg 12a is soldered to the land group 13 (FIGS. 1 and 2) on the board B1, it climbs through the hole formed in the plug connector main body 11, and makes the adjacent contact group 12 conductive. There is no fear of letting it go. Further, the rising leg 12b of the contact group 12 penetrates the bottom wall 11a of the plug connector body 11 along the inner surface of the long side insertion vertical wall 11b1, and the U-shaped portion 12c is the tip of the long side insertion vertical wall 11b1. Similarly, the flux (insulator) flying to the outer surface of the long side insertion vertical wall 11b1 during soldering is less likely to adhere to the U-shaped portion 12c, and there is no possibility of poor conduction.
[0016]
The contact group 22 of the receptacle connector is provided in alignment with the longitudinal direction of the long side outer diameter vertical wall 21 b and the fitting recess 23. Each contact 22 has a soldering leg portion 22a along the surface of the substrate B2, a rising leg portion 22b rising along the outer surface of the long side outer shape vertical wall 21b1, and an inverted U shape along the tip of the long side outer shape vertical wall 21b1. A portion 22c, a U-shaped contact leg portion 22d located in the fitting recess 23, and an inverted U-shaped portion obtained by bending the tip of the U-shaped contact leg portion 22d toward the U-shaped contact leg portion. And a turn-back portion 22e. The tip edge 22e ′ of the inverted U-shaped folded portion 22e is formed in a positional relationship that engages with the lower surface of the protrusion 12d of the contact group 12 when the plug connector 10 and the receptacle connector 20 are in a fitted state, and resists disconnection. give.
[0017]
The above contact group 22 is press-fitted into the receptacle connector body 21, and the soldering leg 22a is soldered to the land group 24 (FIGS. 1 and 2) on the substrate B2.
[0018]
In the connector device configured as described above, when the pair of long side insertion vertical walls 11b1 of the plug connector main body 11 are inserted into the fitting recesses 23 of the receptacle connector main body 21, the rising legs 12b of the contact group 12 It conducts to the U-shaped contact leg 22d. That is, the rising leg 12b enters while elastically deforming the folded portion 22e at the tip of the U-shaped contact leg 22d, and when the protrusion 12d eventually exceeds the tip edge portion 22e 'of the folded portion 22e, the edge portion 22e 'engages with the lower surface of the protrusion 12d, and a click feeling is obtained. Further, since the rising leg 12b includes the long side insertion vertical wall 11b1 and is thicker toward the distal end portion, an insertion resistance that increases with insertion can be obtained (see FIG. 3).
[0019]
On the other hand, when the plug connector 10 is detached from the receptacle connector 20, the protrusion 12d of the rising leg portion 12b has to push the folded portion 22e to temporarily deform the folded portion 22e and the U-shaped contact leg portion 22d. For this reason, a relatively large fitting / removing force can be obtained.
[0020]
As is clear from the above description, the feature of this embodiment is firstly in the shape of the contact group on the plug connector side, and secondly in the shape of the contact group in the fitting recess on the side of the receptacle connector. Therefore, you may change the structure of another part.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a connector device that has a large fitting / detaching force and can prevent contact failure due to adhesion of flux to the contact group.
