【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、室内を壁掛けにて空調するセパレート形エアコン、床暖房エアコン、および、給湯機などの機能を担う空気調和機等の室外ユニットに関するもので、特に、取扱者側にたち運搬時の取り扱い性にをよくする取っ手部の構造に係わるものである。

【従来の技術】
従来室外ユニットに取っ手のあるものとして、例えば特開2002−81696号公報がある。係る構造は上板の平面の一部を側方に延ばして側板よりも突出させ、周囲を下方に向けて折り曲げたフランジ部と上記側板により囲まれた下向き開口部を取っ手として形成している。上板の周囲同一高さになっているフランジ部の先端形状については通常の切断状態にあり、特に工夫の提案はされていない。また、上端は側板の上端の取っ手対応部以外に設けた段差部にフランジ部を嵌合し、取っ手対応部では段差部を設けずに側板の最上段にある水平フランジに載せて上板を支える箱体構造が記載されているが、室外ユニットの移動、運搬、据え付けなどを行う場合の取扱者の立場からみた取っ手部の安全性や箱体のたわみおよび変形に対応できる強度形態ついて配慮が望まれるものであった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記した従来の室外ユニットにおいては次に記載する点の配慮がなされてなかった。切断されたままに近い形状は鋭利であり、取っ手開口部に通常の動作で手を挿入するときにけが負う心配がある。取っ手は必ずしも重心ラインにあるものでなく、また、運搬の際にユニットが傾くことがあるが、手の側方が開口部の縁に触れた場合にけがを負う心配がある。また、取っ手の根元には大きな応力がかかるが、これに対応する構造が示唆されていない。取っ手に曲げモーメントが加わるによって、取っ手はもとより側板及び上板にたわみが生じ取扱者に不安感を与えるばかりか、永久変形を伴う心配がある。取っ手開口部が真下に向いているので、目視し難く、手を挿入するときに取扱者に不安感を与える。上板を側板の最上段の水平フランジに載せる面接触構造は、取っ手に曲げモーメントが加わると、剥離と接触が生じたりきしむ異音を発することがあり、取扱者に不安を与える。

本発明の目的は、上記項目の問題点をなくすこと、あるいは少なくすることができる空気調和機等の室外ユニットを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するための手段を以下に記述する。

すなわち、上端に箱体内方に落ち込む段差部のある側板と、下向きの周囲フランジ部を有し天面の一部が側板位置より側面外方に突出する上板を備え、前者の段差部に後者の周囲フランジ部を嵌合して外箱を構成し、上記上板は突出部を取っ手となし、突出部の根元のフランジ先端を内方天面に向けて折り返した構造を有するものであるから、開口部の根元の縁部に丸みがつくので手の挿入時のけがを負うことが少なくなり、また、折り返しで二重板となるので強度が大になり、意匠もよくなる。また、上板材を薄くしても取っ手をふくむ箱体のたわみや変形を少なくできるものである。

また、突出部の根元に、前記側板の段差面に平行に対応して接するプレ突出面を構成し、プレ突出面のフランジ先端を内方天面に向けて折り返した構造にすることにより厚み増しとなり、側板の段差部との密着が得られ、側板との嵌合一体化が強くなり、特に、側板および上板についてのを含むたわみおよび変形を少なくできるものである。

また、突出部のフランジは側板位置からの距離を次第に大にする斜部突出面と、側板の短辺に平行な頂部平面を有し、斜部突出面のフランジ先端を内方上面に向けて折り返した構造にすることにより、特に、運搬途中にユニットが傾いても手の側方にけがを負うことがなくなるほか、取っ手のたわみおよび変形を少なくできるものである。

また、突出部のフランジは、プレ突出面と連続して側板位置からの距離を次第に大にする斜部突出面と頂部平面を有し、プレ突出面から斜部突出面にかけてフランジ先端を内方上面に向けて折り返した。あるいは、プレ突出面から頂部平面にかけてフランジ先端を内方上面に向けて折り返した構造にすることにより、折り返し部面積が多くなるので手の挿入時及び運搬時のけがを負うことなくなる。また、開口部側面から根元にかけて二重板または三重板となるので、取っ手はもとより箱体を一層強固なものにできるものである。

また、突出部のフランジ高さは突出部根元側を大に先端側を小となし、併せて、フランジ先端を内方上面に向けて突出部根元側を大に先端側を小に折り返し、フランジの下端位置は突出部根元側より先端側を高くした構造にすることにより、取っ手根元の強度向上に理想的な構造が得られ、たわみおよび変形を少なくできるほか、特に、取っ手の開口部が目視し易いので手の挿入時及び運搬時のけがを負うことがなくなり、少ない材料で折り返しの加工も容易にでき、意匠もよくなる利点がある。

また、上板の突出部の根元に対応する近傍の天面に、取っ手の長手と平行および直角な段絞りラインを配設したことにより、取っ手根元の変形を一層少なくできるばかりか、上板の平面の変形も少なくできるものとなる。

また、以上の構造に加え、突出部の根元に位置して平面部のある折り返し部を構成し、平面部近傍にて側板の段差部に螺子で固定することにより、応力の集中する部分の強化と螺子締め部のゆるみ防止ができるものである。

また、取っ手の長手と平行にならない段絞りラインを配設したことにより、根元の強化に加え、上板への応力を分散でき上板のたわみを少なくできるものとなる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下本発明に係わる室外ユニットの実施の形態を図面を参照しながら詳細に説明する。

(実施の形態1)図1は室外ユニット箱体の組図、図2は上板平面図、図3上板の側面図、図4、図5、図6は部分断面図である。

図1、図2、図3に於いて、1は側板、2はで側板の上部を内方にへこませた段差部であり、長辺から短辺にかけて設けてあり、先端にわずかにそりをつけてある。3は側面にわずかにふくらみを設けた側面段絞りあって後記するが、上板の天面段絞り7と同様な配設で行われる。4は上板であって、短辺側のほぼ中央を側面外方に一体に、手の断面積よりわずかに広くした突出部5を作り運搬用の取っ手として活用するものである。6は上板の周囲のフランジであって端部を下方に向けて折り曲げてある。折り曲げの高さは図6に示すように前記側板の段差部2の高さ未満にしてあり、取っ手に対応する以外の大部分で段差部2の平坦ラインに接する程度にしてある。7は天面にわずかにふくらみを設けた3個所の天面段絞りであって、絞りライン7aは短辺の直線部および前記突出部5の頂部(取っ手)に平行なラインと直角なラインが突出部5の両根元(裾)に位置してある。
上記突出部5の構成は、根元にはプレ突出面5aがあり、その面内に組み立て固定用の螺子穴8がある。続いて斜部突出面5b、続いて頂部平面5cの3部所の主面からなっており、図5示すようにいずれもフランジ6の先端を内方上面に向けた折り返し5dがつけてあり、3部所で連続している。この場合、プレ突出面5aは前記側板の段差部2に対向する平行な面を有し、折り返し5dの丸みに関しては、ほぼ密着曲げに等しい小なるものとし、折り返し高さは当部フランジ高さより小にしてある。

一方、頂部平面5cは図5からわかるように側板1の短辺に平行または上板4の短辺の直線部に平行になっており、根元側ので、フランジ高さを根元側より、フランジ高さより小にし、折り返しの丸みは大に、折り返し高さもフランジ高さに対応させて小にしてあり、上下左右縁には丸みをつけてある。

よって、間に位置する斜部突出面5bは、突出根元側ではプレ突出面5aに続き、突出先端側では頂部平面5cに続くものであるので、突出部5のフランジ高さおよび折り返し高さは突出部根元側を大に先端側を小となっている。よって、取っ手部の構成を横からみれば、根元で厚く先端にゆくにつれ厚みが薄く見える形態となっており強度上で安心感を得るものである。

室外ユニットとしてのは箱体の組み立ては、図1に示すように上板のフランジ6を上方から側板の段差部2にかぶせるように嵌合し、プレ突出面の螺子穴8と段差部の螺子穴2aを合わせて螺子固定される。取っ手の開口部は上記の斜部突出面5b、頂部平面5cと側板1で囲まれて構成される。内部機器としては、冷凍サイクルの一機能を担う重量の大なる圧縮機、熱交換器および送風機など(図示省略)が搭載される。熱交換作用は図1においては背面側9から空気を導入し前面側10から排出して行われる。

以上のごとく構成した室外ユニットは、取っ手にモーメントが加わるときに、最も応力のかかる突出部5の根元を、フランジ6の先端を内方天面に向けて折り返して開口端に丸みがある構造にしていることにより、取り扱い時に手を挿入しても根元でけがをすることが少なくなるほか、取っ手の根元側が二重板となるので根元強度も大となり、取っ手が上板4で一体に構成されるので意匠性もたかいものとなる。また、上板材を薄くしても取っ手をふくむ箱体のたわみや変形を少なくできるものである。

また、根元近傍の段差部2に平行に嵌合する部分から側板位置からの距離が次第に大に突出はじめるすそ野にかけてフランジ6の先端を内方天面に向けて折り返した構造しても強度に関しては当部所のみでもかなり改善が得られる。

また、図6に示すようにプレ突出面5aを設けて段差部2に面密着で固定されている構造は三重板が一体となって強固なものとなり、特に側板1にかかる荷重が面となるので、単独でも上板天面のたわみを少なくできるばかりか、取っ手の強化に加えて側板1および上板4の変形を含む取っ手のたわみおよび変形を少なくできる。

また、斜部突出面5bの折り返し5dの形成は、特に内部機器の重心片寄りなどでユニットが傾いて手の側方が触れたりこすれたりした場合に、しかも、運搬途中で手が離せない場合にもけがを少なくできるという利点があほか、二重板になるのでとっての左右方向の変形を少なくできる。

また、頂部平面5cには折り返しを付けずに、根元のプレ突出面5aから斜部突出面5b全長にかけて折り返し5dを形成しても、丸みの存在によりけがを負うことも少なくできるほか、モーメントに対しての強度は一層大なるものが得られ、取っ手のたわみを少なくでき、側板1、上板4のたわみおよび変形も少なくできる。

図でしめした実施例のごとく根元のプレ突出面5aから斜部突出面5b、頂部平面5cにかけて折り返し5dを形成のものは、上記各々のケースで記述した利点を網羅しており、一層上下左右の変形防止の強化ができ、開口部縁の広い領域の丸みの形成によりけが防止に関する安全性一段と向上させ、広い領域で二重板で根元では三重板となるので取っ手はもとより箱体全体のたわみや変形の防止に優れたものである。

また、突出部5のフランジ高さはプレ突出面のに合わせて突出部根元側を大に先端側をそれより小となし、併せてフランジ先端を内方上面に向けて突出部根元側を大に先端側を小に折り返し形成してあるので、前記した各所構造の利点に加え、特に、安全性に関しても取っ手の間口部をを斜め方向から目視できるので取扱者が安心して手をかけることができるばかりか、上板4の板取り最大長を最小限に少なくできるのと、全体的にまるみがあり根元が大であるので、取っ手構成としては強度的に理想的なものが得られることになる。取扱者に対して、やわらかな感じを与え安心感も与える意匠性も高いものである。併せて、頂部の折り返し高さが少ないので加工が容易である利点がある。

上板4に関しては、図2に示すように取っ手の根元に対応する近傍の天面にて、取っ手の長手と平行な絞りライン7aおよび直角な絞りライン7aを配設してあるので、取り扱い時には取っ手根元に集中するモーメントが加わるのに対抗し、天面のたわみを少なくできる。したがって、プレ突出面の効果とあわせて取っ手先端が上方に傾くのを低減できる。側板1に設けた絞りライン3aの効果も同様ある。

突出部5の根元に位置して平面部のある折り返し5dを構成し、平面部の近傍にて前記側板の段差部2に螺子固定するので、段差部と面接触で固定されることとなり、応力が分散する方向にあるので、取っ手根元の変形はもとより、連なる側板1、上板4のたわみを低減できる効果がある。また、この種構造は螺子が緩んだ状態で運搬されることが恐いものであるが、折り返し5dがあることによりバネワッシャーと同じ効果が得られので螺子固定が確実で、ゆるむこともほとんどなくすことができる。

また、上記のように上板4のたわみを低減できることから、従来のような側板最上段の支え用フランジを設ける必要はなくなり、側板の段差部2をほぼ全長にわたり設けた構造にしてある。よって、相互でのきしみ音発生の問題を少なくでき、加工の工程も少なくできるものである。

【発明の効果】
上端に箱体内方に落ち込む段差部のある側板と、下向きの周囲フランジ部を有し天面の一部が側板位置より側面外方に突出する上板を備え、前者の段差部に後者の周囲フランジ部を嵌合して外箱を構成し、上記上板は突出部を取っ手となし、突出部の根元のフランジ先端を内方天面に向けて折り返した構造としたので、安全で、強度に優れるのでたわみおよび変形の少ないものとなり、意匠にも優れ、薄い材料で製作できる室外ユニットを提供できる。
