Description

【0001】

[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In order to sufficiently prevent the wedge-based bulb from coming out during use, a strong elastic supporting force is required for the hook end 5, so that a relatively thick and expensive metal spring material having a high spring constant must be used. The price of the hanging ends is one factor that drives up the cost of bulb sockets.
[0007]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems and to provide a locking function for retaining a light bulb insertion portion to a socket body made of a synthetic resin, thereby saving a metal spring material and reducing the cost. To provide sockets.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]

And a metal connection end electrically connected to the contact point and a metal hooking end for hooking on a ridge provided on the insertion portion, wherein the insertion portion is inserted into an inner surface of the receiving portion. A latching claw that latches and latches on the ridge of the portion is integrally provided from the socket body.
[0009]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The present invention will be described in detail based on the embodiment shown in FIGS.
FIG. 1 is a plan view of a light bulb socket according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an enlarged vertical sectional view showing a state in which a wedge base bulb is mounted. The light bulb socket has a tubular shape suitable for mounting a wedge base bulb. A socket body 11 made of a synthetic resin material is mainly used, and a receiving section 12 corresponding to the insertion section 1b of the electric bulb is formed at a front portion of the socket body 11. In the receiving portion 12, a connection end 13 which is connected to and engages with the contact 1c of the light bulb, and a hooking end 14 which is hooked from both sides of the insertion portion 1b to the ridge 1e of the insertion portion 1b are provided. The latching end 14 is integrally formed by pressing and bending a metal spring material, and is connected to a lead wire 16 via a crimping portion 15 at a rear end.
[0010]
The connection end 13 is provided with an electric contact piece 17 having a free end facing downward for making electrical contact with each of the pair of contacts 1c of the insertion portion 1b of the bulb. The hooking end 14 is provided with a hooking piece 18 that mechanically hooks on the ridge 1e of the insertion portion 1b with its free end facing upward. In FIG. 2, the illustration of the hooking piece 18 is omitted for convenience of the drawing, but it is almost the same as the hooking piece 7 of FIG. 6.
[0011]
Further, a rubber plug 19 is fitted to the rear end of the socket body 11, and a through hole 20 is formed in the rubber plug 19 to insert the lead 16 connected to the rear of the connection end 13. 16 is drawn out.
[0012]
Inside the receiving portion 12, a terminal support groove 20 for supporting each electric contact piece 17, a not-shown abutting portion for abutting each projection 1 g of the insertion portion 1 b and the like are provided integrally with the socket body 11. . A pair of hooking claws 22 project from the socket body 11 inward from both sides of the inner surface of the receiving portion 12 and adjacent to the hooking piece 18 of the hooking end 14. The stop claw 22 is adapted to be locked from a pair of protrusions 1e of the insertion portion 1b from both sides.
[0013]
In this light bulb socket, the hooking claw 22 integral with the socket body 11 gets over the ridges 1e on both sides of the insertion section 1b of the bulb due to elastic deformation of the socket body 11 itself, and hooks the insertion section 1b. The wedge-based light bulb is firmly held by the mechanically strong locking, in combination with the locking of the locking end 14 by the locking piece 18. Therefore, since the retaining claw 22 is promoted to prevent the insertion portion 1b from coming off, the thickness and the width of the retaining end 14 can be reduced correspondingly.
[0014]
Further, a mounting flange 23 is integrally formed on the outer periphery of the intermediate portion of the socket main body 11, and the socket main body 11 is watertightly mounted on the reflecting mirror 25 via the packing 24 by the flange 23.
[0015]
The number of the contacts 1c, the connection ends 13, the latching ends 14, and the latching claws 22 of the light bulb are not limited to one pair as in the embodiment, but may be increased as necessary.
[0016]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the light bulb socket according to the present invention, the hooks are provided on the inner surface of the receiving portion of the socket body so that the hooks for retaining and hooking the protrusions of the light bulb insertion portion are provided. The locking function of the conventional metal spring material for preventing the falling off can also be borne by the socket body made of synthetic resin, so that the material of the metal spring material can be saved and the cost can be reduced.
