【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、インターネット・ビジネスにおける商品・サービス販売サイトの販売促進機能の評価に関する。この商品・サービスは、日用品、家電、自動車から航空券、金融商品、情報サービスなど対価を支払って取得するもの一般を対象とする。

【従来の技術】
インターネット・ビジネスにおける商品・サービス販売サイトでは、単なる販売ばかりではなく、自サイトにやってきた訪問者のアクセスログを記録し、マーケティング手法を駆使してインターネット利用者のニーズを推測し、その結果を自サイトの商品・サービスの品揃え、ページ構成の変更やキャンペーン戦略に活用する傾向にある。すなわち、インターネット利用者のニーズの変化に追従すべく、自サイトの販売戦略を動的に改善していこうとする傾向が販売サイトにはある。従来の技術では、下記の特許文献1などのように訪問者の属性を調査して属性毎の興味を推測したり、あるいは、下記の特許文献2などのように履歴データから売れ筋商品を推測したりすることで販売戦略に役立てていた。これらの手法では、専ら販売対象である商品・サービス自体をどう消費ニーズに合わせていくかが焦点になっているだけなのに対して、実際には、商品・サービス購入に至るまでサイト訪問者の購入欲求を高揚するための仕掛けがサイト内の多くのページに配されているのが一般的で、かつ、それらが存在した故に商品・サービスの販売に成功しているとも言える現状があるのにも関わらず、上記の手法では、これらの仕掛けに対して商品・サービスの販売への貢献度が考慮されていなかった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
販売サイトが、商品・サービスの購入契約を行うページ以外に訪問者の購入動機を促進させるための仕掛けを設け、かつ、この仕掛けを消費ニーズと連動して変更していこうとするのであるならば、このような仕掛けのあるページへの販売貢献度として、売上額やコストなどから推し量った何らかの評価値を当て、その大きさを参考に販売サイト内のページ構成改善を検討することが考えられる。

本発明は、販売サイトの販売促進機能を評価し、活用することによって、サイト訪問者(消費者)の購買欲求を向上し、販売数を向上する方法及びシステムを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の課題を解決するため、以下の手段を前提とする。
(1)電子的ネットワークにおける利用者に対して、電子的に閲覧可能な複数ページから成るサイト上で商品・サービスの内容を紹介し、当該利用者が購入希望する商品・サービス、その数量、および、利用者属性の信号を当該サイトの管理サーバへ送信することで購入契約を確定する電子商取引において、利用者のアクセスログを管理サーバに記憶する処理、購入者の契約確定までに移動した経路を当該サイト上のページ、あるいは、当該サイト外のページで追跡する処理、追跡した経路を一連のノードとして管理サーバに記憶する処理、所定期間中に購入契約の確定した商品・サービスの販売額・コストと当該ノードの使用コストに基づいて当該ノード毎に評価値を割り付ける処理、および、当該ノード毎の評価値を当該管理サーバに記憶する処理を有することにより、当該サイト内外の商品・サービスに対する販売促進機能を評価することを特徴とする。
(2)上記(1)の当該ノード別に評価値を割り付ける処理は、当該商品・サービスの約定金額に基づいて、各商品・サービスの購入契約1回当りに付き、各ノードに売上評価額(以降、単位売上評価額と呼ぶ)を割り付け、かつ、単位売上評価額の割り付いた各ノードを連結した単位売上評価額マップを作成する処理を有することを特徴とする。
(3)上記(1)の当該ノード別に評価値を割り付ける処理は、同種の商品・サービス別に各ノードにおいて単位売上評価額の合算額(以降、売上評価額と呼ぶ)を求め、かつ、売上評価額の割り付いた各ノードを連結した売上評価額マップを作成する処理を有することを特徴とする。
(4)上記(1)の当該ノード別に評価値を割り付ける処理は、当該商品・サービスのコストと当該ノードの運営コストに基づいて、各商品・サービスの購入契約1回に付き、各ノードにコスト評価額(以降、単位コスト評価額と呼ぶ)を割り付け、かつ、単位コスト評価額の割り付いた各ノードを連結した単位コスト評価額マップを作成する処理を有することを特徴とする。
(5)上記(1)の当該ノード別に評価値を割り付ける処理は、同種の商品・サービス別に各ノードにおいて単位コスト評価額の合算額(以降、コスト評価額と呼ぶ)を求め、かつ、コスト評価額の割り付いた各ノードを連結したコスト評価額マップを作成する処理を有することを特徴とする。
(6)上記(1)の当該ノード別に評価値を割り付ける処理は、各ノードにおいて単位売上評価額から単位コスト評価額を減算して単位収益評価額を求め、かつ、単位収益評価額の割り付いた各ノードを連結した単位収益評価額マップを作成する処理を有することを特徴とする。
(7)上記(1)の当該ノード別に評価値を割り付ける処理は、同種の商品・サービス別に各ノードにおいて単位収益評価額の合算額(以降、収益評価額と呼ぶ)を求め、かつ、収益評価額の割り付いた各ノードを連結した収益評価額マップを作成する処理を有することを特徴とする。
(8)上記(1)の当該ノード別に評価値を割り付ける処理は、全商品・サービスに対してノード毎の売上評価額の合算額(以降、総売上評価額と呼ぶ)を求め、かつ、総売上評価額の割り付いた各ノードを連結した総売上評価額マップを作成する処理を有することを特徴とする。
(9)上記(1)の当該ノード別に評価値を割り付ける処理は、全商品・サービスに対してノード毎のコスト評価額の合算額(以降、総コスト評価額と呼ぶ)を求め、かつ、総コスト評価額の割り付いた各ノードを連結した総コスト評価額マップを作成する処理を有することを特徴とする。
(10)上記(1)の当該ノード別に評価値を割り付ける処理は、全商品・サービスに対してノード毎の収益評価額の合算額(以降、総収益評価額と呼ぶ)を求め、かつ、総収益評価額の割り付いた各ノードを連結した総収益評価額マップを作成する処理を有することを特徴とする。
(11)上記(1)の当該ノード別に評価値を割り付ける処理は、商品・サービス別に単位売上評価額マップ、単位コスト評価額マップ、単位収益評価額マップ、売上評価額マップ、コスト評価額マップ、収益評価額マップを表示する処理、および、全商品・サービスに対する総売上評価額マップ、総コスト評価額マップ、総収益評価額マップを表示する処理を有することを特徴とする。
(12)上記(1)の当該ノード別に評価値を割り付ける処理は、評価値を割り付けたノードに対応する当該サイトのページがある場合、そのページの表示と連携して当該サイト管理者に対し、商品・サービス別に売上評価額、コスト評価額、収益評価額を表示する処理、および、全商品・サービスに対する総売上評価額、総コスト評価額、総収益評価額を表示する処理を有することを特徴とする。
(13)上記(1)の当該ノード別に評価値を割り付ける処理は、商品・サービス別のに売上評価額、コスト評価額、収益評価額に関する順位を昇順、あるいは、降順で表示する処理、および、全商品・サービスに対する総売上評価額、総コスト評価額、総収益評価額を昇順、あるいは、降順で表示する処理を有することを特徴とする電子商取引評価方法。
(14)上記(1)の当該ノード別に評価値を割り付ける処理は、各商品・サービスの単価・コストと各ノードの利用者1人当りの使用コストを当該管理サーバに記憶する処理、これらの情報を読み出す処理、および、これらの情報を変更する処理を有することを特徴とする。
(15)上記(1)の当該ノード毎の評価値を当該管理サーバに記憶する処理は、商品・サービス別に単位売上、単位コスト、単位収益、売上、コスト、収益に関する評価額、マップ、順位、および、全商品・サービスに対する総売上、総コスト、総収益に関する評価額、マップ、順位を記憶する処理を有することを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
初めに、図1を用いて本発明の概要を説明し、その後、処理内容の詳細に関して図2〜図13を用いて説明する。

まず、図1に本発明で使用するシステム構成の一例を示す。インターネット利用者は、利用者端末101を使用する。販売サイトの管理者は、管理者端末102を利用する。利用者端末101、管理者端末102はどちらも計算処理、画面表示処理、データ入力処理、データ保存処理などの機能を有するコンピュータである。どちらの端末もネットワーク103を介して、販売サイトが使用する管理サーバ104に接続している。管理サーバ104は計算処理、画面表示処理、データ入力処理、データ保存処理などの機能を有するコンピュータである。このサーバ内には管理部105があり、ここは本発明に必要な処理を管理する部分である。利用者は利用者端末101を通じて販売サイトの商品・サービスの購入を行う。販売サイトの管理者は、管理者端末102を通じて自サイトの管理・運営を行う。

管理部105には本発明に必要な処理を実行するための処理部分として、購入契約・決済・発送処理106、評価期間の約定抽出処理107、購入者追跡処理108、ノード評価額計算処理109、マップ作成表示処理110、ランキング計算表示処理111、評価額内訳計算処理112、DB内容変更処理113が接続している。これらの詳細について後述するので、ここでは概要だけを述べておく。購入契約・決済・発送処理106は、ネットワーク上での商品・サービス購入契約の締結と購入者属性の取得、および、購入品代金決済、発送管理を行う。評価期間の約定抽出処理107は、管理者端末102から入力された期間内の購入契約情報を抽出する。購入者追跡処理108は、この抽出された購入契約情報に基づいて商品・サービス別に購入契約に至るまでの購入者の移動経路を自サイト内外で追跡し、一連の通過点をノードとして管理する。ノード評価額計算処理109は、商品・サービス別にその販売額・コスト、サイト運用コストなどから各ノードの評価額を計算し、ノード毎に割り付ける。マップ作成表示処理110は、購入契約を行うページに至るまでのノード名とそのノードの評価額をペアにして、どのノードからどのノードへ購入者が移動したかを示すマップを作成し、管理者端末102に表示する。ランキング計算表示処理111は、評価額の昇順、あるいは、降順で喉の順位を計算し、表やグラフで管理者端末102に表示する。評価額内訳計算処理112は、上記のマップ上のノード、あるいは、ノードと対応するブラウザソフト上のページと連携させて、評価額の詳細を計算し、管理者端末102に表示する。DB内容変更処理113は、管理者端末102から入力された情報に基づいてデータベースに登録されている内容を変更する。さらに、管理部105には本発明に必要な情報を保存するためのデータベースとして、購入者DB114、アクセスログDB115、評価重みDB116、商品DB117、運用費DB118、評価結果DB119が接続している。購入者DB114には、購入者の購入商品・サービス、その数量、属性などを格納する。アクセスログDB115には、サイト訪問者のアドレス、移動経路などのログデータを格納する。評価重みDB116には、ノード評価額計算処理109で評価額を計算する際のノード別の重みなどを格納する。商品DB117には、商品・サービスの単価・コスト、属性などを格納する。運用費DB118には、自サイト内のページの運用コストなどを格納する。評価結果DB119には、本発明の評価方法を実施して得られる各種の結果を格納する。

次に、図2に本発明の処理フローの一例を示す。処理は、評価期間の入力201からランキング計算205までの前半と、評価期間の変更206からDB内容の更新219の後半に大きく別れる。前半では主に本発明の評価項目に関する計算処理を扱い、後半では、管理者の選択項目によって処理は異なるが、主に前半で計算した評価項目を管理者端末102に表示する処理を扱う。以下に、その詳細をステップ毎に説明する。なお、各ステップではそのステップ内で実行される内容を、適宜、図3〜図13を用いて説明する。
〔ステップ201〕評価期間の入力
管理者が管理者端末102から管理部105へ評価期間として開始年月日・時刻、終了年月日・時刻を入力する。
〔ステップ202〕購入者の経路追跡
管理部105は、上記の評価期間内において確定された購入契約に対する購入者、購入商品・サービス、購入数量を購入者DB114から抽出し、アクセスログDB115を用いて、その購入者に関してサイト内外の通過点とその滞在時間を追跡する。例えば、通過点としてURLを抽出する。この結果、評価期間内の全購入契約に対して、購入契約毎の一連のURLが得られる。このURLをノードとしてノード毎の滞在時間、購入数量と共に、商品・サービス毎に分類して、評価結果DB119に記憶する。なお、上記の追跡では購入者の全通過点を抽出できるとは限らない。その場合、例えば「不明」というノードとして評価結果DB119に記憶する。購入者が自己端末で本販売サイトのページを登録していて、自己端末からこのサイトに直接ジャンプして来た場合や、購入者宛ての電子メール内のURLを購入者がクリックすることで、本販売サイトへ直接ジャンプして来た場合などは、URLは不明となる。いずれにせよ、ノードをサイトのページと考えていても支障はない。以下では、特に断りのない限り、これらを同等のものとして扱う。
〔ステップ203〕ノード評価額の計算
管理部105は、評価重みDB116、商品DB117、運用費DB118、評価結果DB119から、それぞれ、各ノードの評価重み、商品・サービスの単価・コスト、本販売サイト内ページの訪問者1人当りの単位時間運用コスト、追跡の結果得られたノード、ノード毎滞在時間、購入商品・サービス、購入数量を読み込む。

まず、購入契約毎の売上を計算し、売上と各ノードの評価重みを用いて、各ノードが売上に対してどの程度の貢献したのかという評価値(以下、単位売上評価額と呼ぶ)を計算する。この様子を図3に示す。次に、購入契約1件毎の商品・サービスに対するコスト(仕入値、開発費、送料など)、および、各ノード通過によるページ運用コストをページの訪問者1人当りの単位時間運用コストとノード毎滞在時間から計算する。前者は、ノードの評価重みを用いて各ノードに値を割り振った後、ノード毎に後者を合算して、購入契約に帰する全コストに対する各ノードの分量を評価した値(以下、単位コスト評価額と呼ぶ)を計算する。この様子を図4に示す。そして、ノード毎に単位売上評価額から単位コスト評価額を減算して、購入契約に帰する利潤に対する各ノードの分量を評価した値(以下、単位収益評価額と呼ぶ)を計算する。この様子を図5に示す。以上のノード毎の単位売上評価額、単位コスト評価額、単位収益評価額を評価結果DB119に格納する。

以上は、購入契約1件毎に各ノードの評価値を計算したものであるが、それらを商品・サービス別に集計して、ノード毎の売上評価額、コスト評価額、収益評価額を計算する。これらの様子を図6〜図8に示す。各評価額を評価結果DB119に格納する。さらに、全商品・サービスについてこれらを集計して、ノード毎の総売上評価額、総コスト評価額、総収益評価額を計算する。これらの様子を図9に示す。各評価額を評価結果DB119に格納する。
〔ステップ204〕マップ作成
管理部105は、評価結果DB119から、購入契約別にノード毎の単位売上評価額、単位コスト評価額、単位収益評価額、商品・サービス別にノード毎の売上評価額、コスト評価額、収益評価額、および、全商品・サービスについてノード毎の総売上評価額、総コスト評価額、総収益評価額を読み込み、図4〜図9のように、購入者がどのノードからどのノードへ移動したのかを示すようにノード間に方向の関連性を付けたマップ、すなわち、購入契約別の単位売上評価額マップ、単位コスト評価額マップ、単位収益評価額マップ、商品・サービス別の売上評価額マップ、コスト評価額マップ、収益評価額マップ、および、全商品・サービスについての総売上評価額マップ、総コスト評価額マップ、総収益評価額マップを作成する。これらのマップを評価結果DB119に格納する。
〔ステップ205〕ランキング計算
管理部105は、評価結果DB119から、商品・サービス別にノード毎の売上評価額、コスト評価額、収益評価額、および、全商品・サービスについてノード毎の総売上評価額、総コスト評価額、総収益評価額を読み込み、売上評価額、コスト評価額、収益評価額のそれぞれについて商品・サービス別にノード(ページ)順位を計算し、かつ、総売上評価額、総コスト評価額、総収益評価額についてノード(ページ)順位を計算する。得られた順位はすべて評価結果DB119に格納する。
〔ステップ206〕評価期間の変更の判定
管理者端末102から評価期間の変更が指定された場合、〔ステップ201〕へ進み、そうでなければ、次のステップへ進む。
〔ステップ207〕マップ表示の判定
管理者端末102からマップ表示が指定された場合、〔ステップ214〕へ進み、そうでなければ、次のステップへ進む。
〔ステップ208〕マップ上の評価額内訳表示の判定
管理者端末102からマップ上での評価額の内訳表示が指定された場合、〔ステップ215〕へ進み、そうでなければ、次のステップへ進む。
〔ステップ209〕ページ上の評価額内訳表示の判定
管理者端末102からサイト内ページ上での評価額の内訳表示が指定された場合、〔ステップ216〕へ進み、そうでなければ、次のステップへ進む。

管理者端末102から評価額に関してページ(ノード)のランキングを表で表示する指定がなされた場合、〔ステップ217〕へ進み、そうでなければ、次のステップへ進む。

管理者端末102から評価額に関してページ(ノード)のランキングをグラフで表示する指定がなされた場合、〔ステップ218〕へ進み、そうでなければ、次のステップへ進む。
〔ステップ212〕DB内容の更新の判定
管理者端末102からデータベース内容の更新を指定された場合、〔ステップ219〕へ進み、そうでなければ、次のステップへ進む。データベース内容を更新するのは、主に商品・サービスの品揃え変更に伴ってその属性を変更する場合である。つまり、評価重みDB116、商品DB117、運用費DB118のいずれかの内容を更新する場合である。
〔ステップ213〕処理終了の判定
管理者端末102から本処理を終了する指定がなされた場合、本処理を終了し、そうでなければ、〔ステップ206〕へ進む。
〔ステップ214〕マップ表示
管理者端末102から、どのマップを表示するか、すなわち、購入契約別の単位売上評価額マップ、単位コスト評価額マップ、単位収益評価額マップ、商品・サービス別の売上評価額マップ、コスト評価額マップ、収益評価額マップ、全商品・サービスについての総売上評価額マップ、総コスト評価額マップ、総収益評価額マップ(例:図4〜図9)のいずれを表示するのかという指定に従い、管理部105は評価結果DB119から指定されたマップを読み込み、管理者端末102にそれを表示する。図4〜図6の例では、評価期間、購入者も表示し、図7〜9の例では、評価期間、購入者数も表示している。本処理終了後に、〔ステップ206〕へ進む。
〔ステップ215〕マップ上の評価額内訳表示
始めに、管理者端末102から、どのマップを表示するか、すなわち、商品・サービス別の売上評価額マップ、コスト評価額マップ、収益評価額マップ、全商品・サービスについての総売上評価額マップ、総コスト評価額マップ、総収益評価額マップ(例:図7〜図9)のいずれを表示するのかという指定に従い、管理部105は評価結果DB119から指定されたマップを読み込み、管理者端末102にそれを表示する。なお、例えば売上に関する評価額マップが指定された場合には、他のコスト、収益に関する評価額マップも読み込む。コスト、収益に関する評価額マップが指定された場合も同様である。次に、管理部105は管理者端末102から、マップ上のどのノードに関して評価額の内訳、すなわち、売上、コスト、収益の3種類を表示するかの指定に従い、管理者端末102に評価額の内訳を表示する。図10に、全商品・サービスについての総売上評価額マップ、総コスト評価額マップ、総収益評価額マップのいずれかが表示された場合の評価額内訳表示の例を示す。図10は、管理者端末102に表示されたマップのノードをマウスカーソルなどのポインティングデバイスでクリックすると、評価額の内訳表示が別ウインド上に表形式で出力される例である。ここでは、全商品・サービスについての評価額の他に、商品・サービス別の評価額も表示している。また、評価期間と購入者数も表示している。本処理終了後に、〔ステップ206〕へ進む。
〔ステップ216〕ページ上の評価額内訳表示
始めに、管理者端末102から、自サイトのどのページを表示するのかという指定に従い、管理部105は評価結果DB119から指定されたページに対応するノードの評価額を読み込み、そのページを管理者端末102に表示する。次に、図11に示したように、表示されたページ上にある評価額の内訳表示を示す部分をマウスカーソルなどのポインティングデバイスでクリックすることで、内訳表示を行う。図11は、評価額の内訳表示が別ウインド上に表形式で出力され、全商品・サービスについての評価額、および、商品・サービス別の評価額を表示する例である。また、評価期間と購入者数も表示している。本処理終了後に、〔ステップ206〕へ進む。
〔ステップ217〕ランキング表の表示
始めに、管理者端末102から、どの商品・サービス、あるいは、全商品・サービスのいずれについて表示するのか、かつ、売上、コスト、収益のいずれについて評価額のページランキングを表示するのか、かつ、昇順、降順のいずれで表示するのかという指定に従い、管理部105は評価結果DB119から指定されランキングデータを読み込み、管理者端末102に指定された項目についてのランキングを表形式で表示する。図12に商品・サービス別のページランキング表示の例を示す。ここでは、売上についてのページランキング表示の場合、ページと売上評価額をペアとして表示するだけではなく、参考用にコスト評価額、収益評価額も表示する。他のコスト、収益についてのページランキングも同様である。また、評価期間と購入者数も表示している。本処理終了後に、〔ステップ206〕へ進む。
〔ステップ218〕ランキンググラフの表示
〔ステップ217〕と同様であるが、表ではなくグラフでページランキングを表示する点だけが異なる。図13に商品・サービス別のページランキング表示の例を示す。ここでは、横軸に順位とページ名、縦軸に評価額をとり、ページランキングを棒グラフで表示している。評価期間と購入者数も表示している。本処理終了後に、〔ステップ206〕へ進む。
〔ステップ219〕DB内容の更新
始めに、管理者端末102から、どのデータベースについて内容を更新するのかという指定、すなわち、評価重みDB116、商品DB117、運用費DB118のいずれの内容を更新するのかという指定に従い、管理部105は指定されたデータベースをオープンし、その結果を管理者端末102へ表示する。内容を更新し、データベースをクローズした後に、〔ステップ206〕へ進む。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、インターネット・ビジネスにおける販売サイト内のページに対して、消費者ニーズを反映した評価値を与えることが可能になるので、サイト訪問者の購買欲求を高めるためにはどのページを改善すべきか特定するための指標、あるいは、ページ構成やページ内の販売促進用の仕掛けを変更した際に、変更前後の評価値を比較することにより、この変更によってサイト訪問者の購買欲求の向上に対してどの程度効果を発揮したのか測定するのための指標として活用できる。これによって、サイト訪問者の購買欲求を向上し、販売数を向上できる。
