本発明はステップスクリーンに係り、特に、そのステップスクリーンの捕捉した夾雑物を洗浄できるようにしたものに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来は、夾雑物を含む下水のような原水(以下、下水を例にして説明する。)の流れる水路にバースクリーンを設け、そのバースクリーンで捕捉した夾雑物(し渣(スクリーン滓))をレーキで排出するようにしたスクリーンが知られている(非特許文献1参照。)。

また、近年、図2(a)〜(e)に示されるようなステップスクリーンが提案されている。このステップスクリーンは、下水の流れてくる面側に階段状のステップをする長尺状の可動スクリーンと固定スクリーンとを互いに所定の間隔を保って原水の流れてくる水路に傾斜して設けられるように構成されている。図2(a)〜(e)を用いてさらに説明すると、この図2(a)は、下水の流れる水路Wの側壁から見た図で、ステップスクリーンで捕捉した夾雑物イの移動状態を示したものである。このステップスクリーンの可動スクリーン1a及び固定スクリーン1bは、その下部が水路Wの底面W′に位置し、その上部は、下水の流れて行く方向側に所定角度傾斜して配置されている。そして、可動スクリーン1aは、図示しないリンク機構を介して図2(b)〜(e)中の矢印▲1▼〜▲4▼のように移動(回動)されるように構成されている。すなわち、この可動スクリーン1bの回動は、図2(a)に示されるように、可動スクリーン1aと固定スクリーン1bとが重なった状態から、可動スクリーン1aのステップを有する面(以下、表面というときもある。)側が固定スクリーン1bの表面よりも下水の流れてくる方向に突出し、その状態でステップの1段以上の高さに上昇し(図2(b),(c)参照)、次いで、固定スクリーン1bの表面よりも後退し(図2(d)参照)、最後に、図2(a)と同じ位置、すなわち、可動スクリーン1aと固定スクリーン1bとが重なった位置となる。このように、可動スクリーン1aの回動により、固定スクリーン1bの所定の位置のステップに捕捉されている夾雑物イは、その所定の位置のステップよりも上のステップに移動し(図2(b)〜(e)の夾雑物イ参照)、最終的に固定スクリーン1bの上端から図示しない夾雑物搬送路に排出される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、下水処理におけるスクリーン作業においては、捕捉された夾雑物であるし渣は、多くの砂が付着しているとともに、悪臭成分の元となる汚濁物も付着しているので、大量の洗浄水を用いて洗浄する必要がある。このようなし渣の洗浄は、本出願人の特許第3244719号に示されるようなし渣洗浄装置が知られているが、このし渣洗浄装置で多くの洗浄水を使用すると、その分だけその後の水処理施設の負荷が高まるので、可能な限り洗浄水を少なくすることが望まれていた。

そこで、本発明は、上記要望に応えるためになされたものであって、その目的は、し渣の洗浄水が少なくて済むステップスクリーンを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明に係るステップスクリーンは、上記目的を達成するために、夾雑物を含んだ原水の流れてくる面側に階段状のステップを有する可動スクリーン及び固定スクリーンを互いに所定の間隔を保って交互に配置し、その可動スクリーンの可動により捕捉した夾雑物を上方へ移動させるようにしたステップスクリーンであって、前記可動スクリーン及び固定スクリーンの原水の水面よりも上方で、その原水の流れてくる側に、その可動スクリーン及び固定スクリーンに向けて洗浄水を散布する洗浄水散布手段を設けたことを特徴としている。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。図1(a)は、一実施の形態に係るステップスクリーンを表面から見たときの正面図、同図(b)は、スクリーンを側面から見た拡大図である。なお、上記図2(a)〜(e)と同一構成要素には同一符号を用いて説明する。

このステップスクリーンは、周知のステップスクリーンと同様に、下水の流れる水路Wの幅全体に、可動スクリーン1aと固定スクリーン1bとを所定の間隔を保って交互に配置して設けられている。なお、図面を簡略化するために、水路Wの中央部分の各スクリーン1a,1bは省略されている。

各スクリーン1a,1bの下部は水路Wの底面W′に位置し、その上部は、水路Wの水面よりも上方に位置するように設けられている(図1(b)参照)。そして、各スクリーン1a,1bは、表面側に階段状のステップを有しているとともに、各スクリーン1a,1bの上部は、下部よりも下水の流れる方向(図1(b)の矢印参照)に位置して所定の角度を有して傾斜して設けられている。また、可動スクリーン1aは、上記図2(a)〜(e)を用いて説明したように、図示しないリンク機構を介して移動(回動)するように構成されている。したがって、固定スクリーン1bに捕捉された夾雑物(し渣)イを上方へ移動させることができる。

なお、固定スクリーン1bの上端から排出された夾雑物は、図示しないベルトコンベア等の移動機構を介して上述した本出願人の特許第3244719号に示されるようなし渣洗浄装置で洗浄された後、焼却処分や埋立等の処分がなされる。

図中、10は、本発明の洗浄水散布手段に相当する散水管である。この散水管10は、各スクリーン1a,1bの表面側の上方で、かつ、水路Wの水面よりも上方に設けられている。そして、この散水管10には、バルブVを介して図示しないポンプから圧力水が供給されるように構成されている。この圧力水は、ステップスクリーンの処理後の水路Wの中間水(水路Wの水深のほぼ中間の水)を用いることができる。また、このステップスクリーンの後処理装置に当る沈殿池の処理水とすることもできる。

上記散水管10には、図示しないが、各スクリーン1a,1bの表面側に開口した多数の小孔が設けられている。したがって、その小孔からは、各スクリーン1a,1bに捕捉されている夾雑物イに洗浄水が散布され、夾雑物を洗浄することができる。各スクリーン1a,1bに捕捉されている夾雑物イは、安定した状態で、つまり、各スクリーン1a,1bに密着した状態で捕捉されているので、散水管10から洗浄水が散布されても脱落したり、スクリーンの目開きを通過するおそれがなく、夾雑物イを効率よく洗浄することができる。なお、バースクリーンのレーキで掻き上げられた夾雑物に洗浄水を散布した場合は、レーキから夾雑物が落下したり、スクリーンの目開きを通過してしまうので、バースクリーンのレーキ上の夾雑物に散水することはできない。

上述のように、ステップスクリーンにおいて夾雑物が洗浄されるので、その後の夾雑物(し渣)の洗浄が不要となったり、必要であっても洗浄水の水量が少なくて済むという効果が得られる。

【発明の効果】
本発明に係るステップスクリーンは、夾雑物を含んだ原水の流れてくる面側に階段状のステップを有する可動スクリーン及び固定スクリーンを互いに所定の間隔を保って交互に配置し、その可動スクリーンの可動により捕捉した夾雑物を上方へ移動させるようにしたステップスクリーンであって、前記可動スクリーン及び固定スクリーンの原水の水面よりも上方で、その原水の流れてくる側に、その可動スクリーン及び固定スクリーンに向けて洗浄水を散布する洗浄水散布手段を設けたので、ステップスクリーンにおいて夾雑物が洗浄されているので、その後の夾雑物(し渣)の洗浄が不要となったり、必要であっても洗浄水の水量が少なくて済むという効果が得られる。
