Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is a disposable inkjet printer.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In order to generate an appropriate negative pressure of ink in the ink discharge section, (1) the position negative pressure by providing the ink tank below the ink discharge surface is used. In the case where the ink tank is arranged above the ink discharge section, there is a negative pressure generating device utilizing the water retention amount by storing (2) a sponge or the like in the tank.
[0003]
(3) In the head recovery, the ink is passed through the nozzle holes by suctioning the ink from the ink discharge port by an electric pump or the like built in the printer.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
(1) Since the printing surface is between the head and the ink tank, the space factor of the mechanical layout is poor. When there is a need for a large negative pressure value, the space in the vertical direction becomes large, and the size of the printer becomes large.
[0005]
(2) The amount of remaining sponge ink is large and the usage rate of ink is poor.
[0006]
(3) There is a limit to the suction capacity due to restrictions on the power supply and size of the electric pump. The suction device is complicated, requires high precision, and is expensive.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
(Negative pressure device)
If the ink tank is provided above the printing surface and a force is applied in a direction in which the volume of the ink tank increases, a negative pressure in the head section is generated. What is necessary is just to make an ink tank into a bag shape, and to operate to expand the bag volume by a spring.
[0008]
(Head recovery)
The ink may be passed through the nozzle by pressurizing the ink tank and ejecting the ink from the nozzle. If the pressure from the outside of the printer is applied to the ink tank in the direction of compressing the ink bag, it is not necessary to use an electric pump or the like.
[0009]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
(1st Embodiment)
As shown in FIG. FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of the inside of a disposable printer during printing. Ink stored in one ink bag is supplied to a carriage head 6 through a tube 5. Normally, the ink discharge section 6 needs to make the ink negative pressure. The lower surface of 1 is adhesively fixed to the ink bag base 4 and the upper surface of the opposite surface is adhesively fixed to the weight 2 so that the inner volume 3 increases in the direction in which the inner volume increases. It is urged by a close-wound coil spring. The negative pressure of the ink discharge section of one needs a water column of about 50 mm, and the force for expanding the inner volume at that time was 350 g experimentally obtained. When the weight of 2 is 200 g, the initial tension of 3 is 400 g. When the vertical displacement width of (2) is 20 mm and the spring constant is 5 g / mm, the negative pressure of the ink discharge section of (1) can be set to a water column of 43 mm to 57 mm, and can be kept within an appropriate value range.
[0010]
(Second embodiment)
As shown in FIG. Generally, as a user's mind, when the printer does not perform printing due to nozzle clogging or the like, the printer body may be hit or shaken to apply an external force. The ink of the head portion is pressurized by the impact energy of the external force, the ink is ejected from the nozzle, and the ink passes through the nozzle. In FIG. 2, one side of the printer is lifted and released, and the weight of the printer collides with the table. At that time, since 2 has a dynamic acceleration, an impact force is applied in a direction to crush 1.
[0011]
If this operation is performed at the home position 6, the ink ejected from 6 by the impact pressure is sucked into the waste ink absorber 8. The applied pressure varies depending on the hardness of the drop table of the printer and the method of lifting, but in the case of ink droplets of a general particle size, if it is +0.3 kg / cm 2 or more, it is sufficient to pass the ink through the clogged nozzle. .
[0012]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, a large-capacity ink tank can be arranged in a space-efficient place like a disposable printer, and an appropriate ink negative pressure can be obtained in a head portion.
[0013]
The head recovery can be operated by a simple device utilizing the psychology of the user without using a complicated and expensive device such as an electric pump.
[0014]
As a result, an inexpensive disposable printer can be provided.
