Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to printed matter applied to securities such as stock certificates, gift certificates or credit cards, as well as seals and tags for products to prevent forgery and duplication.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in addition to securities such as stock certificates, gift certificates, credit cards, and even seals and tags for merchandise, printing with sophisticated printing technology has been performed to prevent unauthorized use by forgery or duplication. However, in recent years, in view of the frequent occurrence of unauthorized use due to forgery or duplication, special countermeasures for preventing forgery have been taken in addition to such sophisticated printing.
[0003]
As a special counterfeit prevention measure, for example, there is a method of attaching a hologram, applying a material or an image that develops with ultraviolet rays, and performing authenticity determination by irradiating ultraviolet rays, or as described in detail below, An image body having a so-called opal effect in which the density and brightness of the line-shaped uneven pattern group change when the viewing angle is changed when a viewing angle is changed by forming an embossed pattern in which a plurality of line-shaped uneven pattern groups having different line direction are formed. A method of attaching it to securities or the like, or a line consisting of a latent image portion and a non-latent image portion having a width of approximately 1 to 1 and the phase of the latent line portion being a non-latent image portion When a line film having a line pattern having the same shape as the line is superimposed on a printed material shifted by ピ ッ チ pitch, a non-latent image portion is hidden by the line pattern of the line film, and a latent image portion is formed. Only emerges as an image Obtaining as result, there is a method using a technology called "parallel line moiré method" for the authenticity determination in the presence or absence of the image of the latent image portion.
[0004]
The above-mentioned "line moire method" will be described in more detail. For example, as shown in the front view of FIG. 7, a line pattern having a width and pitch of about 1 to 1 is composed of a heart-shaped latent image part (30) and other parts. The non-latent image portion (32) is formed, and as shown in FIG. 8 as a partially enlarged view of the portion A shown in FIG. 7, the line pattern of the latent image portion (30) and the non-latent image portion (32) is formed. The parallel line direction is the same direction, and its phase is shifted by ピ ッ チ pitch. This image is called a parallel line moiré image (3) and has substantially the same shape as the parallel line as shown in the enlarged front view of FIG. When a line film (34) having a line pattern of (line width (W) and pitch (P)) is overlapped, the non-latent image portion (32) is formed by the line pattern of the line film (34). As shown in FIG. 10, only the latent image portion (30) emerges as a heart-shaped image. Is shall. When this line moiré image (3) is used for forgery prevention, as shown in FIG. 7, for example, a triangular visible image (36) is formed in the vicinity of the latent image part (30), In FIG. 9, only the visible image (36) of the triangle is visible, and at a glance, this visible image (36) is considered to be a countermeasure for forgery. As shown in FIG. By superimposing the line film (34) on the line moire image, as shown in FIG. 10, the determination is made based on the presence or absence of the heart-shaped latent image portion (30) in addition to the visible image (36). .
[0005]
At the time of development, even if a copy was made using a color copier or a scanner at the time of development, it was difficult to duplicate the copy and was an effective technology as a countermeasure against forgery.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, recently, the above-described hologram technology and the technology of determining authenticity by ultraviolet irradiation have been generalized, and forgery and duplication have become relatively easy. In addition, even in the above-described technology utilizing the opal effect, the shape of a parallel line can be read relatively easily, and if this technology and a machine are used, forgery and duplication have become easy. Furthermore, since the pattern using the above-mentioned “man-line moire” technology is relatively simple in pattern, it is easy to fabricate it if a person with reasonable knowledge and skill has noticed the prevention of forgery and the like. This is problematic in terms of preventing forgery.
[0007]
In order to solve the problem of the method using the "line moire" technique, for example, as shown in FIG. 11, the same line having a line-to-line ratio of 1: 1 as shown in FIG. Three types of line patterns are formed by dividing a line having a pitch into different line angles (approximately 45 ° downward, approximately 10 ° downward, approximately 45 ° downward), and each line pattern is formed. Has a latent image portion formed by shifting the parallel line phase by ピ ッ チ pitch, and the latent image portion is formed, for example, in a parallel line pattern (45) inclined downward at approximately 45 ° shown in FIG. “T”, “O” formed in a line pattern (46) of approximately 10 ° declining to the right shown in FIG. 13, and “O” formed in a line pattern (47) of approximately 45 ° declining to the left shown in FIG. There is a printed matter having a latent image line pattern (42) of "P" Document 1 reference.).

[0009]
However, the printed matter is a printed matter that is divided into three parts by one color using one plate combining line patterns (45, 46, 47) including three types of latent image line patterns. Although it is more difficult to copy or forge than the simple one-line pattern described above, for example, as shown in FIG. Since the image is formed by a thin one-color image only of the pattern, there is a problem that the latent image character is a thin visualized image without contrast. Furthermore, if each of the three types of line patterns is to be expressed in a different color to give a degree of freedom to the design, a plate of each of the three types of line patterns must be created and printed with high precision in register. This is practically impossible, and as described above, there is no other choice but to express the three types of line patterns as printed matter having a latent image of only one color, and thus there is a problem that the design is limited. Was.
[0010]
The present invention is to solve the problems of the prior art, and the object thereof is to provide printed matter to be applied to securities and the like as a countermeasure for counterfeiting, especially printed matter having a latent image using a line moire technique. Provided is a printed material having a latent image with difficulty in duplication or forgery, a latent image portion included in a line pattern being reproducible as a visible image portion with contrast, and a design with a high degree of freedom in a printed matter, and a method for visualizing the same. It is in.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object in the present invention, according to the first aspect of the present invention, a line pattern having a line portion and a non-line portion on a substrate and having the same pitch and width has a line phase. Is a printed matter having a latent image printed by superimposing a plurality of types of latent image line patterns each having a latent image portion formed by being shifted by ピ ッ チ pitch at different angles. The printed matter having a latent image is characterized in that the latent image line patterns are different in color.
[0012]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, since a plurality of types of latent image line patterns are superimposed at different angles without being divided, even if the latent image portion is visualized (reproduced), the contrast and the line pattern are improved. Since the density is not lost and a plurality of types of latent image line patterns are formed in different colors, the color of a visualized portion (characters, etc.) also changes to a plurality of colors. It is possible to provide a printed matter having a latent image which is excellent in design.
[0013]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a printed matter having a latent image according to the first aspect, wherein the latent image line pattern is a broken line.
[0014]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, the latent image line pattern is formed by dashed lines, so that the latent image portion formed by shifting the line phase by 1 / pitch and the other non-latent image portions are formed. This makes it difficult to visually recognize the boundary of the printed image, so that the presence of the latent image portion is not noticed, and it is possible to provide a printed matter having a latent image that enhances the forgery prevention effect.
[0015]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, the line pitch of the latent image line pattern is in the range of 10 μm to 150 μm, and the width thereof is in the range of 1 / pitch to 3/4 pitch. A printed matter having the latent image according to claim 1 or 2.
[0016]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, printing is performed by setting the line pitch of the latent image line pattern in a range of 10 μm to 150 μm and the width thereof in a range of 1 / pitch to / pitch. The latent image line pattern is reproducible, and the printed matter has a latent image that makes it difficult to forge by color copying, etc., and the latent image part and the non-latent image part are balanced, and the latent image part itself is Reproducibility (contrast with a non-latent image portion as a background) is improved. That is, if the line pitch of the latent image line pattern is less than 10 μm, the reproducibility of the line printing is poor, and if it exceeds 150 μm, forgery by color copying or the like becomes possible, which is not preferable. If the width is less than 1/4 pitch, the latent image portion becomes too small compared to the non-latent image portion, and the reproducibility of the latent image portion itself when visualized becomes poor. If the pitch exceeds / 4 pitch, the overlapping portion of each color becomes large, and as a result, the reproducibility of the visualized color is deteriorated, which is not preferable.
[0017]
Further, in the invention according to claim 4, a white image is formed on the plurality of types of latent image line patterns, and the white image lines are the same when the respective line patterns are superposed at different angles. 4. A printed matter having a latent image according to claim 1, wherein the printed matter has an outline.
[0018]
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, when a white image is formed on each of the plurality of types of latent image line patterns, and when the white image lines are overlapped at different angles respectively, To make the boundary between the latent image portion and the non-latent image portion of the latent image line pattern of each color more difficult to see, and also to provide design with the outline image The printed material has a latent image that changes.
[0019]
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the printed matter having the latent image according to the first, second, third, or fourth aspect, the line pattern film having the same pitch and width as the line pattern is formed of the plurality of types of latent images. This is a method for visualizing a printed matter having a latent image, characterized in that each latent image portion is visualized by being aligned and superimposed at an angle corresponding to a line pattern.
[0020]
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, a single line pattern film having the same pitch and width as the lines of the plurality of types of latent image lines is used, and is adjusted to an angle corresponding to the latent image lines. By visualizing the latent image, a latent image portion (characters or the like) of a plurality of colors emerges, and a method for visualizing a printed matter having a latent image with contrast and freedom in design can be realized. .
[0021]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
[0022]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a printed matter on which counterfeiting prevention measures for preventing illegal use of securities or the like due to counterfeiting, duplication or the like are applied. For example, as shown in FIG. The line pattern (5) of the blue latent image having a line width (W) descending to the left by about 30 ° has a latent image portion (30) having the shape of “eight” formed by shifting its phase by 1 / pitch. ) And other non-latent image portions (32). With respect to the blue latent image line pattern (5), as shown in FIG. 2, for example, a red latent image having the same line pitch (P) and line line width (W) lowering to the right by approximately 30 ° as shown in FIG. The line pattern (6) also has a latent image portion (30) composed of a part of a "double arc" shape formed by shifting its phase by a half pitch, and a non-latent image portion (32) other than that. It is composed of Further, a cloudy white image line (40) is formed at the same position of the blue latent image line pattern (5) and the red latent image line pattern (6).
[0023]
Therefore, the invention according to claim 1 is, for example, as shown in FIG. 3, a blue latent image line pattern (5) shown in FIG. 1 and a red latent image line pattern (6) shown in FIG. ) Are superimposed by printing to give a printed matter (1) having a latent image composed of a combination of two colors and a mixed color (blue, red and purple), in which a cloudy white image line (40) is visually recognized. is there.
[0024]
The invention according to claim 2 is such that, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the blue latent image line pattern (5) and the red latent image line pattern (5) are formed by broken lines. By forming such a broken line, the boundary between the latent image portion (30) and the non-latent image portion (32) (although a boundary line is provided for easy understanding in the drawing) is made difficult to see with the naked eye. , Making forgery difficult.
[0025]
Further, according to the third aspect of the invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, for example, the line pitch (P) of the blue latent image line pattern (5) and the red latent image line pattern (6) is When the line pitch (P) of the blue latent image line pattern (5) and the red latent image line pattern (6) is less than 10 μm, reproduction by line printing is performed. When the thickness exceeds 150 μm, forgery by color copying or the like becomes possible, which is not preferable. Further, each line width (W) is set in the range of 1/4 to 3/4 pitch (P), and if the line width (W) is less than 1/4 pitch (P), the latent line width (W) is less than 1/4 pitch (P). The image portion (30) becomes too small compared to the non-latent image portion (32), and the latent image portion (30) itself lacks reproducibility when visualized, and conversely, becomes 3/4 pitch When (P) is exceeded, the overlapping portion (purple) of the two colors (blue and red) becomes large, and as a result, the visualized color becomes a dull color, and its color reproducibility is poor (lack of design). This is not preferred.
[0026]
Further, the invention according to claim 4 is, for example, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a cloud-like white line pattern is provided at a predetermined position of a blue latent image line pattern (5) and a red latent image line pattern (6). A blank image line (40) is formed, and these white image lines (40) have a blue latent image line pattern (5) and a red latent image line pattern (6) as shown in FIG. A printed matter (1) having a latent image which is superimposed to form the same cloudy white image (40) when superimposed at different angles (30 ° left lower, 30 ° right lower left), The outline image (40) makes it difficult to visually recognize the boundary between the latent image portion and the non-latent image portion of each latent image line pattern (5, 6), and provides a design effect as well as a counterfeit prevention effect. Is what you do.
[0027]
As described above, in the case of the printed matter (1) having a latent image according to the present invention, a combination of two types of latent image line patterns of blue and red is used, but the number of types is limited to three colors. Above that, even if the whole is darkened and visualized, its color reproducibility and the like become inferior, so that a design effect cannot be expected.
[0028]
Furthermore, the invention according to claim 5 provides the printed matter (1) having the latent image with a line pitch (P) of the blue latent image line pattern and the red latent image line pattern as shown in FIG. ) And a width (W) of the same line pattern film (7), for example, at the same angle as the blue latent image line pattern (5) shown in FIG. 5), the non-latent image portion (32) overlaps the blue latent image line pattern (5) so as to cover the blue latent image line pattern (5). As shown in the figure, the portion corresponding to the latent image portion (30) having the shape of "8" in the blue latent image line pattern (5) becomes a mixed color of blue and red (purple), and the other non- This is a visualization method for visualizing the latent image portion (30) such that a portion corresponding to the image portion (32) exhibits blue.
[0029]
Also, if the superposition of the line pattern film (7) shown in FIG. 5 is shifted by ピ ッ チ pitch from the case shown in FIG. 5, for example, as shown in the schematic diagram of FIG. In the parallel line pattern (5), the portion corresponding to the latent image portion (30) having the shape of "eight" becomes blue, and the other portion corresponding to the non-latent image portion (32) is a mixed color of blue and red. It is also possible to adopt a visualization method of visualizing the latent image portion (30) so as to exhibit (purple).
[0030]
For visualizing the latent image portion (30), for example, a line pattern film (7) shown in FIG. 4 is applied to a printed matter (1) having a latent image shown in FIG. ), A portion corresponding to the latent image portion (30) which is a part of the “double arc” in the red latent image line pattern (6), although not shown, is superimposed. It is a mixed color of blue and red (purple) or red when shifted by ピ ッ チ pitch, and the other portion corresponding to the non-latent image portion (32) is red or a mixed color of blue and red (purple) And a visualization method for visualizing the latent image portion (30) so that
[0031]
In this way, by changing the overlapping angle and the position of the line pattern film (7), the latent image portions (30) of various colors and shapes are visualized to perform true / false judgment. The printed matter (1) has a latent image having a design effect in addition to a forgery prevention effect.
[0032]
Examples of the base material constituting the printed matter (1) having the latent image of the present invention include natural fiber paper, synthetic paper, and a plastic plate, and a stock certificate, a gift certificate, and a securities such as a credit card using the same. In addition, a printed matter (1) having a latent image applicable to a sealing sticker, a tag or the like for a product can be obtained by a printing method such as an intaglio printing method including an offset, letterpress, and gravure printing.
[0033]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention having the above configuration has the following effects.
That is, in the invention according to the first aspect, on the base material, the line pattern is formed by shifting the line phase by ピ ッ チ pitch with respect to the line pattern having the line portion and the non-line portion and having the same pitch and width. A plurality of types of latent image line patterns each having a latent image portion are superimposed at different angles to form a printed matter having a printed latent image, and a plurality of types of latent image line patterns are divided as in the related art. Are superimposed at different angles without any loss of contrast and density even when the latent image portion is visualized (reproduced), and multiple types of latent image line patterns are different from each other. Since it is formed in a different color, the color of the visualized portion (characters, etc.) also changes to a plurality of colors, which has the effect of providing a printed matter having a latent image with excellent design properties.
[0034]
Further, in the invention according to the second aspect, the latent image line pattern is formed by a broken line, so that the latent image portion formed by shifting the line line phase by 1/2 pitch and the other non-latent image are formed. It becomes difficult to visually recognize the boundary with the part, so that the presence of the latent image part is not noticed, and a printed material having a latent image that further enhances the forgery prevention effect can be obtained.
[0035]
Further, in the invention according to the third aspect, by setting the line pitch of the latent image line pattern to be in the range of 10 μm to 150 μm, the latent image line pattern can be reproduced by printing, and color copying can be performed. By making the printed matter having a latent image that makes it difficult to forge the image, and by setting the width thereof in a range of 1/4 pitch to 3/4 pitch, the latent image portion and the non-latent image portion can be balanced. In addition, a printed material having a latent image in which the reproducibility of the latent image portion itself (contrast with the non-latent image portion as the background) is improved.
[0036]
In the invention according to the fourth aspect, an outline image is formed on each of the plurality of types of latent image line patterns, and the outline lines are superposed at different angles. In this case, the same white outline is used to make it harder to visually recognize the boundary between the latent image portion and the non-latent image portion of the latent image line pattern of each color, and the white outline also enhances the design. A printed material having a latent image to be provided can be obtained.
[0037]
Furthermore, in the invention according to the fifth aspect, a single line pattern film having the same pitch and width as the line of the plural types of latent image line patterns is used, and corresponds to the latent image line patterns. Provided is a method for visualizing a printed matter having a latent image having a contrast and a degree of freedom in design, in which latent images of a plurality of colors (characters, etc.) emerge by visualizing according to an angle. There is an effect that can be done.
[0038]
Therefore, the present invention exerts an excellent practical effect as a printed matter having a latent image for preventing forgery and duplication of products such as stock certificates, gift certificates or credit cards, as well as seals and tags for products. I do.
