In addition, the latent image is visualized by superposing a deformed parallel line tint pattern film of the same pattern as the deformed parallel line tint pattern 10 at the position of the same pattern by registering them. Besides, the imaging object 1 has a visible image 22 formed by visualizing it as a relief image using a deformed waveform parallel line tint 20 in the way that it crosses the deformed parallel line tint pattern 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an image forming body to be applied to securities such as stock certificates, gift certificates or credit cards, as well as seals and tags for products to prevent forgery and duplication.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in addition to securities such as stock certificates, gift certificates, credit cards, and even seals and tags for merchandise, printing with sophisticated printing technology has been performed to prevent unauthorized use by forgery or duplication. However, in recent years, in view of the frequent occurrence of unauthorized use due to forgery or duplication, special countermeasures for preventing forgery have been taken in addition to such sophisticated printing.
[0003]
As a special counterfeit prevention measure, for example, there is a method of attaching a hologram, applying a material or an image that develops with ultraviolet rays, and performing authenticity determination by irradiating ultraviolet rays, or as described in detail below, An image body having a so-called opal effect in which the density and brightness of the line-shaped uneven pattern group change when the viewing angle is changed when a viewing angle is changed by forming an embossed pattern in which a plurality of line-shaped uneven pattern groups having different line direction are formed. A method of attaching it to securities or the like, or a line consisting of a latent image portion and a non-latent image portion having a width of approximately 1 to 1 and the phase of the latent line portion being a non-latent image portion When a line film having a line pattern having the same shape as the line is superimposed on a printed material shifted by ピ ッ チ pitch, a non-latent image portion is hidden by the line pattern of the line film, and a latent image portion is formed. Only emerges as an image Obtaining as result, there is a method using a technology called "parallel line moiré method" for the authenticity determination in the presence or absence of the image of the latent image portion.
[0004]
The above-mentioned "line moire method" will be described in more detail. For example, as shown in the front view of FIG. 7, a line pattern having a width and pitch of about 1 to 1 is composed of a heart-shaped latent image part (30) and other parts. The non-latent image portion (32) is formed, and as shown in FIG. 8 as a partially enlarged view of the portion A shown in FIG. 7, the line pattern of the latent image portion (30) and the non-latent image portion (32) is formed. The parallel line direction is the same direction, and its phase is shifted by ピ ッ チ pitch. This image is called a parallel line moiré image (3) and has substantially the same shape as the parallel line as shown in the enlarged front view of FIG. When a line film (34) having a line pattern of (line width (W) and pitch (P)) is overlapped, the non-latent image portion (32) is formed by the line pattern of the line film (34). As shown in FIG. 10, only the latent image portion (30) emerges as a heart-shaped image. Is shall. When this line moiré image (3) is used for forgery prevention, as shown in FIG. 7, for example, a triangular visible image (36) is formed in the vicinity of the latent image part (30), In FIG. 9, only the visible image (36) of the triangle is visible, and at a glance, this visible image (36) is considered to be a countermeasure for forgery. As shown in FIG. By superimposing the line film (34) on the line moire image, as shown in FIG. 10, the determination is made based on the presence or absence of the heart-shaped latent image portion (30) in addition to the visible image (36). .
[0005]
At the time of development, even if a copy was made using a color copier or a scanner at the time of development, it was difficult to duplicate the copy and was an effective technology as a countermeasure against forgery.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, recently, the above-mentioned hologram technology and the technology of determining authenticity by ultraviolet irradiation have been generalized, and forgery and duplication have become relatively easy. Moreover, even in the technique using the above-mentioned opal effect, the shape of a parallel line can be read relatively easily, and if this technique and a machine are used, forgery and duplication have become easy. [0026]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
[0027]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an image forming body provided with a counterfeiting prevention measure for preventing improper use of securities or the like due to counterfeiting or duplication, for example, as shown in the front view of FIG. An image forming body (1) having a latent image formed of a latent image portion (not visible to the naked eye) formed in a deformed line pattern (10) having a non-uniform pitch, width, and shape and shifted by ず れ pitch. .
[0028]
Further, as shown in FIG. 1, for example, a visible image (22) forming a relief image with a deformed wavy line (20) so as to intersect this deformed line pattern (10) is formed, Normally, only the visible image (22) forming the relief image and enhancing the forgery prevention effect is visible to the naked eye, and at first glance the visible image (22) forming this relief image "SO". Is an image forming body (1) having a latent image considered to be a countermeasure for counterfeit.
[0029]
The visualization of the latent image portion formed in the deformed line pattern (10) is performed for authenticity judgment, and the visualization is performed by, for example, the deformed line pattern (10) shown in FIG. A deformed line pattern film (24) as shown in the front view of FIG. 2 is aligned and superposed in the vicinity of the latent image portion with the same pattern as the deformed line pattern (10) near the latent image portion. As shown in the front view of FIG. 3, only the latent image portion (30) formed of, for example, a line moire image “ALIT” becomes an image forming body (1) that appears to appear white and is deformed. When the superposition of the line pattern film (24) is shifted by, for example, か ら pitch from that shown in FIG. 3, the background becomes white, and the line moire image “ALIT” appears in black (not shown). You can also do this In the presence of the latent image portion made with les images "ALIT" (30) is obtained by an imaging member having a latent image which can be the authenticity determination (1).
[0030]
The image forming body (1) having the latent image will be described in further detail. For example, as an enlarged view of FIG. 1, as shown in FIG. There is a deformed line pattern (10) in the vertical direction that is orthogonal to the latent image portion (30), which is shifted from the line by ピ ッ チ pitch with respect to the line, and other deformed line patterns (10). An image forming body (1) having a latent image composed of a non-latent image portion (32). The image forming body (1) having the latent image is provided with a deformed line pattern film (FIG. 2). When a predetermined portion (inside of the solid line) of FIG. 24) is overlapped, as shown in an enlarged view of FIG. 5 (an enlarged portion of the line moire image “IT” shown in FIG. 3), this deformed line pattern The film hides the line portion of the deformed line pattern of the latent image portion (30). As a result, only the non-linear portion of the deformed line pattern becomes “IT” and rises white to be visualized, and the non-latent image portion (32) hides the non-linear portion of the deformed line pattern, The portion other than the line moire image "IT" is made blacker, and the contrast with the white floating latent image portion (30) is made higher.
[0031]
Also, if the superposition of the deformed line pattern film (24) shown in FIG. 3 is shifted by ピ ッ チ pitch from the case shown in FIG. 5, for example, as shown in FIG. The non-linear portion of the deformed line pattern of the latent image portion (30) is concealed by the pattern film. As a result, only the line portion of the deformed line pattern becomes "T" and floats black, and one of the non-latent image portions (32) In), the line portion of the deformed line pattern is hidden, and the portion other than the line moiré image “T” becomes whiter, so that the contrast with the latent image portion (30) can be further increased.
[0032]
In this way, a latent image portion shifted by ピ ッ チ pitch is formed in a complicated deformed line pattern (10) in which the pitch, width and shape are not uniform in the background, and the latent image portion is visualized. An image forming body (1) having a latent image that is superimposed at the same position with the same deformed line pattern as the deformed line pattern (10) whose pitch, width and shape are not uniform, and a method for visualizing the image formed body; Forgery and duplication can be made quite difficult except for the one for which the image forming body (1) is planned.
[0033]
Further, in the invention according to the second aspect, the conventional moire image forming the latent image portion (30) and the non-latent image portion (32) by a conventional simple linear parallel line as shown in FIG. In (3), the boundary between the latent image portion (30) and the non-latent image portion (32) is easily visible to the naked eye, but the deformed line pattern (10) in the background shown in FIG. The boundary line (33) between the latent image portion (30) and the non-latent image portion (32) formed here is almost impossible to see by forming a broken line. It is. Further, by forming the deformed line pattern (10) with a dashed line, as shown in FIG. 1, the deformed line pattern (10) becomes bright, and the relief image "SO" is formed by the deformed wavy line (20). This has the effect of increasing the contrast with the visible image (22) being formed, and in addition to enhancing the forgery prevention effect, the boundary between the latent image portion and the non-latent image portion is deceived by the visible image (22). Is completely invisible, and the visible image (22) can be an image forming body (1) having a latent image which also has an effect to be considered as an anti-counterfeit measure.
[0034]
In the invention according to the fourth aspect, as shown in FIG. 1, the deformed line pattern (10) is an image forming body (1) having a latent image composed of a printed image. The deformed line pattern (10) is an image forming body (1) having a latent image composed of an uneven pattern formed on a metal thin film on a base material. In the former, the production cost is relatively high. It can be applied as an image forming body (1) having no latent image. The latter has a so-called opal effect in which the shading and brightness of the concavo-convex pattern change when the viewing angle is changed, and the latent image is excellent in design effect. Can be applied as the image forming body (1) having
[0035]
As the base material constituting the image forming body (1) having the latent image of the present invention, for example, a natural fiber paper, a synthetic paper, a plastic plate or the like can be applied. When a metal thin film is formed on a substrate and an uneven pattern is formed thereon, aluminum foil is laminated as a metal thin film via a wax-based adhesive layer, or aluminum is deposited on a substrate via a deposition anchor layer. Can also be obtained at The formation of the line-shaped uneven pattern of the opal image or the line moire image can be obtained by pressing the metal thin film on the base material with a press plate having an embossed pattern corresponding thereto.
[0036]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention having the above configuration has the following effects.
That is, in the invention according to claim 1, a latent image having a deformed line pattern formed on a substrate and having a phase shifted by a half pitch to form a line moire image is formed. In the image forming body having the line pattern, the deformed line pattern is a pattern in which the pitch, width, and shape are not uniform, and the phase is shifted by 1 / pitch to form a line moire image formed of a latent image portion formed as a latent image. Therefore, it is possible to provide an image forming body having a latent image that is difficult to be visually recognized, the formation of the latent image is easy, and the latent image is not restricted by its design.
[0037]
In the invention according to the second aspect, since the deformed line pattern forming the latent image portion is formed by a broken line, the boundary between the latent image portion and the non-latent image portion can be more visually recognized. Since it becomes difficult and the contrast with the relief image (visible image) composed of deformed wavy lines increases, image formation having a latent image which is hindered by this visible image and is extremely difficult to forge or duplicate is made. It has the effect of providing the body.
[0038]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, since a visible image is formed as a relief image with a deformed wavy line so as to intersect with the deformed line pattern, the visible image is further formed. The anti-counterfeiting effect can be enhanced, and the image forming body can be an image forming body having a latent image that is misunderstood by the visible image and makes the latent image portion more difficult to visually recognize.
[0039]
Further, in the invention according to the fourth aspect, by forming the deformed line pattern from the printed image formed on the base material, it is possible to form an image having a latent image which is relatively inexpensive to manufacture. Can be a body.
[0040]
Further, in the invention according to the fifth aspect, by forming the deformed line pattern to be an uneven pattern formed on the metal thin film on the base material, when the viewing angle is changed, the shading or the brightness of the uneven pattern is improved. The image forming body has a so-called opal effect in which the latent image changes, and has a latent image excellent in the design effect.
[0041]
Further, in the invention according to the sixth aspect, the visualization of the latent image portion is formed by a deformed line pattern whose pitch, width and shape are not uniform, and the latent image is formed by shifting the phase by 1/2 pitch. The visualization of the line-shaped moiré image is equivalent to the portion where the line-shaped moiré image is formed, of the deformed line-shaped pattern film in which the same pattern as the deformed line-shaped pattern in which the pitch and width are not uniform is formed. Is performed by aligning and superimposing on the line moiré image, so that in general, it is difficult to forge this deformed line pattern film, and it has a latent image for which authenticity judgment is reliable and easier. There is an effect that a method for visualizing an image forming body can be provided.
[0042]
In the invention according to claim 7, since the deformed line pattern is formed by a broken line, when a latent image portion that is formed by the deformed line pattern and is more difficult to view is visualized, the image is visualized. The raised portion emerges as a sharper image, so that it is possible to provide a method for visualizing an image forming body having a latent image, which is reliable and easy to judge.
[0043]
Further, in the invention according to claim 8, by comparing the deformed line pattern with a method for visualizing an image forming body having a latent image composed of a printed image formed on a base material, It is possible to provide a method for visualizing an image forming body having a latent image with low cost.
[0044]
Furthermore, in the invention according to the ninth aspect, by using the deformed line pattern as a method for visualizing an image forming body having a latent image formed of a concavo-convex pattern formed on a metal thin film on a base material, Changing the viewing angle has a so-called opal effect in which the density and brightness of the concavo-convex pattern change, and has the effect of providing a method for visualizing an image forming body having a latent image with excellent design effects.
[0045]
Therefore, the present invention exerts an excellent practical effect as an image forming body applied to securities such as stock certificates, gift certificates or credit cards, as well as seals and tags for products to prevent forgery and duplication.
