Abstract

【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、弾球遊技機の遊技盤面に装着される入賞装置のような役物に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来から、弾球遊技機には、遊技盤面の所要位置に機種ごとに様々な入賞口や通過口が設置されている。そして、遊技内容や釘配列に応じて、通過口を構成する装置（以下、「通過装置」と称する。）や入賞口を構成する装置（以下「入賞装置」と称する。）が弾球遊技機の機種ごとに設計、製作されている。

これまでは、通過装置と入賞装置とは、それぞれ使用目的及び機能が異なるため異なる構造を有しており、互いに流用することは不可能であった。したがって、機種を増やすごとに、それぞれの装置の部品点数も増加し、管理が煩雑になるとともに、設計コストも増大することとなっていた。
そこで、近年では、下記の特許文献１に開示されるように、入賞装置の飾り部材（盤面上で視認される部分をいう）として通過口用と入賞口用との２種類を用意し、用途に応じて装飾部分のみを交換することで、通過装置又は入賞装置のいずれにも利用可能な役物が提案されている。より具体的には、遊技板の役物設置孔に装着されるベース体には入賞球進入口が開口している。そして、ベース体に装着される飾り部材内部の打球誘導路は、当該役物を入賞装置として使用する場合には、その入賞球進入口へ向かって打球を誘導するような形状となっているが、通過装置として使用する場合には、その入賞球進入口を避けるような形状となっている。ここで、入賞球進入口を避けるような形状とは、入賞球進入口の全体を避けるもののみならず、入賞球進入口の一部にはかかるものの当該一部からは打球の進入が不可能であるようなものをもいう。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記従来技術においては、上述の通り、当該役物を通過装置として使用する場合には、飾り部材内部の打球誘導路は、ベース体の入賞球進入口を避けるような形状とならざると得なかった。したがって、たとえば、当該役物を通過装置として使用したい場合において、打球誘導路が入賞球進入口の全体を通るような形状とすることはできず、打球の排出される角度も自ずと限られてくるという構造上の制約があり、遊技内容の多様化に伴う盤面構成の自由度には必ずしも対応しきれてはいなかった。

そこで、本発明は、ベース体と飾り部材とを備える弾球遊技機用役物において、飾り部材の打球誘導路の設計を、具体的な盤面構成に応じて、ベース体の入賞球進入口の開口位置に制限されることなく、自由に行えるようにすることを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
以下の各発明についての説明において、「入賞」とは、賞球の払い出しや、所定の権利発生等、遊技者にとって有利な状態が発生することをいう。また、「打球９０」とは、弾球装置から発射された遊技球のことをいう。さらに、「入賞球９５」とは、打球９０のうち、入賞に係るものをいう。

（１）第１の発明
先述の課題に鑑み、本発明のうちの第１の発明は、弾球遊技が展開される遊技盤面２０の所要位置に装着され、該遊技盤面２０の正面方向に臨む入賞球進入口４４、及び、前記入賞球進入口４４から前記遊技盤面２０の背面へ連通して入賞球９５が通行可能な入賞球通路４７を有するベース体４０、前記入賞球通路４７に挿入される被挿入部材６０、並びに、前記ベース体４０の正面側に装着され、打球９０が進入可能な開口部５１及び該開口部５１から前記入賞球進入口４４まで打球９０を誘導する打球誘導路５２を有する飾り部材５０を備える弾球遊技機用役物３０であって、前記被挿入部材６０として、入賞球９５が通過可能な径の通過孔７２を有するとともに該通過孔７２への入賞球９５の通過を検知する検知部７３を有する入賞部材７０、又は、前記入賞球進入口４４への入賞球９５の進入を阻止する阻止部８２を有する外れ部材８０のいずれかが入賞球通路４７に挿入されるとともに、前記飾り部材５０において、前記入賞球通路４７に入賞部材７０が挿入されている場合の入賞球進入口４４までの打球誘導路５２は、当該入賞球進入口４４へ打球９０を誘導する形状とされ、また、前記入賞球通路４７に外れ部材８０が挿入されている場合の入賞球進入口４４までの打球誘導路５２は、打球９０を遊技盤面２０へ排出する形状とされていることを特徴とする。

本第１の発明に係る弾球遊技機用役物３０は、ベース体４０、被挿入部材６０及び飾り部材５０から構成される。
ベース体４０は、弾球遊技が展開される遊技盤面２０の所要位置に装着され、以下の構成を備える。
▲１▼入賞球進入口４４。これは、該遊技盤面２０の正面方向に臨んで開口するものである。

▲２▼入賞球通路４７。これは、前記入賞球進入口４４から前記遊技盤面２０の背面へ連通して入賞球９５が通行可能な通路である。
被挿入部材６０は、前記入賞球通路４７に挿入される部材である。この被挿入部材６０は、以下の２通りの態様のうちのいずれかをとる。
▲１▼入賞部材７０。これは、入賞球９５が通過可能な径の通過孔７２を有する。また、該通過孔７２への入賞球９５の通過を検知する検知部７３をも有する。この検知部７３としては、たとえば、光学センサ等をもって充てることができる。

▲２▼外れ部材８０。これは、前記入賞球進入口４４への打球９０の進入を阻止する阻止部８２を有する。この阻止部８２は、入賞球進入口４４の開口に位置して、打球９０の進入が阻止できる程度の大きさのものであれば足りる。
ところで、実際の遊技盤面２０は、おおむね以下のように形成される。すなわち、ベニヤ板等で形成される盤素材に、表面セル加工で絵や模様等を描くとともに、所定個所にルータ加工を施して役物が備え付けられる孔（役物設置孔１２）を形成し、さらに釘打ちを施して遊技板１１が形成される。さらに、この遊技板１１に役物を装着したものが遊技盤面２０となる。そして、上記ベース体４０は、上記役物設置孔１２に入賞球通路４７を挿入するようにして装着される。また、このベース体４０が装着されることで、この役物設置孔１２はベース体４０により塞がれ、あとは入賞球進入口４４のみが正面方向に開口することとなる。そして、この入賞球通路４７に挿入される被挿入部材６０の種類により、１個の役物設置孔１２が、入賞口として機能したり、又は、しなかったりすることとなる。

飾り部材５０は、前記ベース体４０の正面側に装着される部材で、以下の構成を備える。
▲１▼開口部５１。これは、打球９０が進入可能な径を有する。
▲２▼打球誘導路５２。これは、飾り部材５０の中を、該開口部５１から前記入賞球進入口４４まで打球９０を誘導する通路である。この打球誘導路５２は、前記入賞球通路４７に被挿入部材６０として入賞部材７０が挿入されているか又は外れ部材８０が挿入されているかにより、以下の２通りのうちのいずれかの態様をとる。

（ａ）入賞部材７０が挿入されている場合、入賞球進入口４４までの打球誘導路５２は、当該入賞球進入口４４へ打球９０を誘導する形状とされる。たとえば、打球誘導路５２の末端を、当該入賞球進入口４４付近で盲端５４にすることができる。そして、この盲端５４に至った打球９０は当該入賞球進入口４４以外に行き場がなくなることによって、当該打球９０を当該入賞球進入口４４へ誘導することとなる。

（ｂ）外れ部材８０が挿入されている場合、入賞球進入口４４までの打球誘導路５２は、打球９０を遊技盤面２０へ排出する形状とされる。たとえば、打球誘導路５２の末端を、当該入賞球進入口４４を通過して遊技盤面２０に向けた開放端５３とすることができる。そして、外れ部材８０の阻止部８２により、打球９０は当該入賞球進入口４４へ進入し得ず、これを通過する。そして、打球９０はこの開放端５３へ至り、遊技盤面２０に排出されることとなる。

たとえば、ベース体４０の入賞球通路４７に入賞部材７０が被挿入部材６０として挿入されている場合には、当該入賞球進入口４４はいわゆる入賞口として取り扱われることとなる。この場合、当該ベース体４０には、当該入賞球進入口４４へと打球９０を誘導する形状の打球誘導路５２を備えた飾り部材５０が装着されることとなる。
そして、この飾り部材５０の開口部５１から打球９０が進入すると、この打球９０は打球誘導路５２を通じて、当該入賞球進入口４４へと誘導され、進入することとなる。当該入賞球進入口４４へ進入した打球９０は、入賞球９５として、入賞球通路４７を通行し、入賞部材７０の通過孔７２を通過する。この際、検知部７３によりこの通過が検知されることにより、この打球９０により入賞が発生したものとされる。

一方、ベース体４０の入賞球通路４７に外れ部材８０が被挿入部材６０として挿入されている場合には、当該入賞球進入口４４はいわゆる入賞口として取り扱われることはない。この場合、当該ベース体４０には、この打球９０を遊技盤面２０へ排出する形状の打球誘導路５２を備えた飾り部材５０が装着されることとなる。
そして、この飾り部材５０の開口部５１から打球９０が進入すると、この打球９０は打球誘導路５２を通じて、当該入賞球進入口４４へと至る。しかし、外れ部材８０の阻止部８２により当該入賞球進入口４４には当該打球９０は進入し得ない。したがって、当該打球９０は入賞球進入口４４を通過し、遊技盤面２０へ排出される。すなわち、当該打球９０は、入賞を発生させることなく、「外れ」となる。

実際には、ベース体４０の入賞球通路４７の態様（すなわち、入賞部材７０が挿入されるか、又は、外れ部材８０が挿入されるか）に応じた形状の打球誘導路５２を有する飾り部材５０をあらかじめ形成しておくこととなる。
上記構成により、役物設置孔１２の各々について、実際の遊技盤面２０の仕様に応じて、入賞口として取り扱うか否かに関わらず、ベース体４０は共通とすることが可能となる。そして、当該役物設置孔１２を入賞口として取り扱う場合には入賞部材７０を、又は、入賞口として取り扱わない場合には外れ部材８０を、それぞれ被挿入部材６０として入賞球通路４７に挿入し、さらに、この被挿入部材６０の態様に応じた飾り部材５０をベース体４０に装着することで、入賞装置を形成したり、又は、単に打球９０が通過するに過ぎない通過装置を形成したりすることが可能となっている。

すなわち、▲１▼１種類のベース体４０、▲２▼被挿入部材６０としての入賞部材７０及び外れ部材８０、並びに▲３▼▲２▼の態様に応じた種類の飾り部材５０、という部品の組み合わせによって、実際の弾球遊技機１０の仕様に応じて、入賞装置を構成したり、また、通過装置を構成したりすることが可能となっている。また、この弾球遊技機用役物３０を通過装置として使用する場合においても、飾り部材５０の打球誘導路５２の形状を、ベース体４０の入賞球進入口４４の位置を避けるように設計する必要はなくなっている。

（２）第２の発明
本発明のうちの第２の発明は、弾球遊技が展開される遊技盤面２０の所要位置に装着され、該遊技盤面２０の正面方向に臨む２の入賞球進入口４４、及び、前記入賞球進入口４４の各々から前記遊技盤面２０の背面へ連通して入賞球９５が通行可能な入賞球通路４７を有するベース体４０、前記入賞球通路４７の各々に挿入される被挿入部材６０、並びに、前記ベース体４０の正面側に装着され、打球９０が進入可能な開口部５１及び該開口部５１から前記入賞球進入口４４の各々まで分岐して打球９０を誘導する打球誘導路５２を有する飾り部材５０を備える弾球遊技機用役物３０であって、前記被挿入部材６０として、入賞球９５が通過可能な径の通過孔７２を有するとともに該通過孔７２への入賞球９５の通過を検知する検知部７３を有する入賞部材７０、又は、前記入賞球進入口４４への入賞球９５の進入を阻止する阻止部８２を有する外れ部材８０のいずれかが入賞球通路４７ごとに挿入されるとともに、前記飾り部材５０において、前記２の入賞球通路４７に挿入される被挿入部材６０の組み合わせに応じて、入賞部材７０が挿入されている側の入賞球進入口４４までの打球誘導路５２は、当該入賞球進入口４４へ打球９０を誘導する形状とされ、また、外れ部材８０が挿入されている側の入賞球進入口４４までの打球誘導路５２は、打球９０を遊技盤面２０へ排出する形状とされていることを特徴とする。

すなわち、本第２の発明における各構成要素の意義は前記第１の発明におけるものと同様である。しかし、前記の第１の発明に係る弾球遊技機用役物３０においては、ベース体４０に設けられる入賞球進入口４４及び入賞球通路４７の数については特に限定はないが、本第２の発明は、ベース体４０に設けられる入賞球進入口４４及び入賞球通路４７の数を２個と限定した点で前記第１の発明と相違している。

すなわち、飾り部材５０としては、上記４通りの形状に対応する物をあらかじめ形成しておけばよいこととなる。そして、上記▲１▼の場合には、１の役物設置孔１２が、２の入賞口として機能することとなる。また、上記▲２▼及び▲３▼の場合には、１の役物設置孔１２が、１の入賞口として機能するが、その位置について２通りの態様があり得る。さらに、上記▲４▼の場合には、１の役物設置孔１２を入賞口として機能させないこととなる。

すなわち、▲１▼１種類のベース体４０、▲２▼被挿入部材６０としての入賞部材７０及び外れ部材８０、並びに▲３▼４種類の打球誘導路５２の形状に応じた飾り部材５０、という部品の組み合わせによって、実際の弾球遊技機１０の仕様に応じて、２の入賞口を有し専ら入賞装置として機能する役物を構成したり、入賞装置と通過装置とを兼ね備えた役物を構成したり、又は、専ら通過装置として機能する役物を構成したりすることが可能となっている。また、この弾球遊技機用役物３０を通過装置として使用する場合においても、飾り部材５０の打球誘導路５２の形状を、ベース体４０の入賞球進入口４４の位置を避けるように設計する必要はなくなっている。

（３）第３の発明
先述の課題に鑑み、本発明のうち第３の発明は、弾球遊技が展開される遊技盤面２０の所要位置に装着され、該遊技盤面２０の正面方向に臨む入賞球進入口４４、前記入賞球進入口４４の辺縁と被切断部４５ａを介して連結することで当該入賞球進入口４４への打球９０の進入を阻止する阻止部材４５、及び、前記入賞球進入口４４の各々から前記遊技盤面２０の背面へ連通して、前記被切断部４５ａが切断され当該阻止部材４５が除去されることで当該入賞球進入口４４が開放した場合に入賞球９５が通行可能な入賞球通路４７を有するベース体４０、並びに、前記ベース体４０の正面側に装着され、打球９０が進入可能な開口部５１及び該開口部５１から前記入賞球進入口４４まで打球９０を誘導する打球誘導路５２を有する飾り部材５０を備える弾球遊技機用役物３０であって、前記飾り部材５０において、前記阻止部材４５が除去されている入賞球進入口４４までの打球誘導路５２は、当該入賞球進入口４４へ打球９０を誘導する形状とされ、また、前記阻止部材４５が残存している入賞球進入口４４までの打球誘導路５２は、打球９０を遊技盤面２０へ排出する形状とされていることを特徴とする。

本第３の発明に係る弾球遊技機用役物３０は、ベース体４０及び飾り部材５０から構成される。
ベース体４０は、弾球遊技が展開される遊技盤面２０の所要位置に装着され、以下の構成を備える。

▲２▼阻止部材４５。これは、前記入賞球進入口４４の辺縁と被切断部４５ａを介して連結することで当該入賞球進入口４４への入賞球９５の進入を阻止する部材である。この阻止部材４５の大きさについては、当該入賞球進入口４４の大きさ以下であって、阻止部材４５と当該入賞球進入口４４の辺縁との間の間隙が、打球９０が進入し得ない程度であれば足りる。なお、「被切断部４５ａ」とは、ニッパー等の工具を用いて容易に切断可能な部分をいう。この被切断部４５ａは、１の入賞球進入口４４につき、２個所以上設けられるのが望ましい。

▲３▼入賞球通路４７。これは、前記入賞球進入口４４の各々から前記遊技盤面２０の背面へ連通する通路である。なお、前記入賞球進入口４４には上述の通り阻止部材４５が被切断部４５ａを介して連結されているが、この被切断部４５ａが切断され当該阻止部材４５が除去されることで当該入賞球進入口４４が開放した場合には、この入賞球通路４７を入賞球９５が通行可能となる。

飾り部材５０は、前記ベース体４０の正面側に装着される部材で、以下の構成を備える。

▲２▼打球誘導路５２。これは、飾り部材５０の中を、該開口部５１から前記入賞球進入口４４まで打球９０を誘導する通路である。この打球誘導路５２は、前記入賞球進入口４４から阻止部材４５が除去されているか又は残存しているかにより、以下の２通りのうちのいずれかの態様をとる。

そして、この飾り部材５０の開口部５１から打球９０が進入すると、この打球９０は打球誘導路５２を通じて、当該入賞球進入口４４へと誘導され、進入することとなる。当該入賞球進入口４４へ進入した打球９０は、入賞球９５として、入賞球通路４７を通行する。この打球９０は、たとえばその下流に設けられた光学センサ等により検知され、これにより入賞が発生することとなる。

一方、ベース体４０の入賞球進入口４４に阻止部材４５が残存している場合には、当該入賞球進入口４４に入賞球９５が進入することは不可能なため、いわゆる入賞口として取り扱われることはない。この場合、当該ベース体４０には、この打球９０を遊技盤面２０へ排出する形状の打球誘導路５２を備えた飾り部材５０が装着されることとなる。

以下、本発明の実施の形態について、図面を参照しつつ説明する。なお、以下の説明において、「正面」とは弾球遊技機１０の正面を意味し、また、「背面」とは弾球遊技機１０の背面を意味する。さらに、左右方向に言及している場合には、弾球遊技機１０を正面から見た状態で説明しているものとする。

（１）第１の実施の形態
（１−１）遊技盤面２０
本実施の形態に係る弾球遊技機用役物３０は、図１に正面図で示す弾球遊技機１０の遊技盤面２０に装着される。
本実施の形態においては、遊技盤面２０の中央には、液晶画面による画像表示装置２１が設置される。その上方には、４個の保留ランプ２２が設けられる。

ここで、入賞球通路４７に外れ部材８０が挿入されている方向（図２では右方向）へ打球９０が落下すると、図７（Ａ）の断面図で示すように当該方向の入賞球進入口４４には外れ部材８０の阻止部８２が位置しており、打球９０が進入することはできない。さらに、当該方向における打球誘導路５２の末端は開放端５３となっているので（図２参照）、入賞球進入口４４に進入できなかった打球９０は、当該開放端５３から遊技盤面２０へ落下することとなる。すなわち、当該打球９０は、入賞球９５として取り扱われることはない。

ここで、いずれの方向へ打球９０が落下しても、打球誘導路５２の末端は盲端５４となっている。（図９（Ａ）参照）。さらに、いずれの方向とも入賞球進入口４４は図７（Ｂ）の断面図で示すのと同じように開放しているため、打球９０は当該入賞球進入口４４へ進入し、入賞球通路４７を進んで、通過孔７２を通過する際に、検知部７３で検知される。すなわち、当該打球９０は、入賞球９５として取り扱われるとともに、両入賞球進入口４４は、前記一般入賞口２４と同等の機能を有することとなる。

前記▲４▼の場合は、飾り部材５０の開口部５１から進入した打球９０は、図９（Ｂ）に示すような挙動を示す。

ここで、いずれの方向へ打球９０が落下しても、入賞球進入口４４には図７（Ａ）の断面図で示すのと同じように外れ部材８０の阻止部８２が位置しており、打球９０が進入することはできない。さらに、両方向とも打球誘導路５２の末端は開放端５３となっているので（図９（Ｂ）参照）、当該入賞球進入口４４に進入できなかった打球９０は、当該開放端５３から遊技盤面２０へ落下することとなる。すなわち、当該打球９０は、入賞球９５として取り扱われることはない。

よって、前記▲４▼の場合は、１の役物設置孔１２に取り付けられた弾球遊技機用役物３０は、一般入賞口２４としては機能しないこととなっている。すなわち、この場合、弾球遊技機用役物３０は通過装置としての機能のみを有することとなっている。
したがって、この弾球遊技機用役物３０を通過装置として使用する場合においても、被挿入部材６０として外れ部材８０を使用することで入賞球進入口４４へは打球９０の進入は不可能となっているため、飾り部材５０の打球誘導路５２の形状を、ベース体４０の入賞球進入口４４の位置を避けるように設計する必要はなくなっている。

ベース体４０の正面部分は、遊技板１１の役物設置孔１２（図７参照）を塞ぐ大きさの正面板４１となっている。この正面板４１に、上部がアーチ型の開口である入賞球進入口４４が２個、左右に並設されている。この入賞球進入口４４には、入賞球９５の進入を阻止する阻止部材４５が設けられている。この阻止部材４５は、入賞球進入口４４の辺縁に、３個所の被切断部４５ａを介して連結されている。この阻止部材４５の存在により、入賞球進入口４４には入賞球９５が進入する余地はない（Ａ）。しかし、被切断部４５ａはニッパー等の工具で容易に切断可能となっている。そして、被切断部４５ａの切断により阻止部材４５が除去されると、入賞球進入口４４は入賞球９５が進入する十分な余地が生ずることとなる（Ｂ）。なお、被切断部４５ａは、切断した際の切断面と入賞球９５との干渉を防ぐために、入賞球進入口４４の下縁以外の縁に設けるのが望ましい。さらに、被切断部４５ａを入賞球進入口４４の左右縁に設ける場合には、左右の切断面同士の間隔が入賞球９５の直径よりも広くなるように構成することが望ましい。また、正面板４１には、その左右両辺に、遊技板１１への取付け用の遊技板ネジ孔４２が２個設けられているとともに、入賞球進入口４４の上方に、飾り部材５０取付け用の飾り部材ネジ孔４３が２個設けられている。
