Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new waterproof member for a metal roof, which eliminates the risk of excessive elongation at sticking, has excellent long-term waterproofness, and is also suitable for the operation of being automatically stuck on a long metal plate by a dedicated device and the operation of being automatically caulked thereby.
SOLUTION: Pressure sensitive adhesive layers 2 and 3 are formed on both sides of a tape-like base material 1 which is composed of a foam, and a layer 4 which is composed of an expansion/contraction regulating material is laminated inside. The base material 1 is compressed in a coupling part (seam) of the long metal plate, and the restoring force of the base material 1 makes the coupling part filled with the waterproof member without a gap, so that high waterproofness can be maintained over a long period of time. When the waterproof member is stuck on the coupling part, the risk of a deterioration in the waterproofness is eliminated because the layer 4 prevents excessive elongations of the base material 1 and the layers 2 and 3.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

Description

【0001】
【0030】

Figure 2004169508
【0031】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a metal roof for connecting a connecting portion of long metal plates adjacent to each other to construct a metal roof by sandwiching the connecting portion (so-called goby) to impart waterproofness to the connecting portion. The present invention relates to a waterproof member.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, for example, as disclosed in Patent Literature 1 and Patent Literature 2, a substantially round bar shape or a substantially square bar shape used when constructing a vertical long metal roof or a tiled bar long metal roof. Is known.
These waterproof members are sandwiched between the connecting portions when the metal roof is constructed by connecting the connecting portions of the adjacent long metal plates by caulking and fixing, and waterproof to the connecting portions of the long metal plates. Is provided.
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-1-107734 [Patent Document 2]
JP-A-7-233594
In recent years, for the purpose of reducing the manufacturing cost of the waterproofing member and simplifying the work of attaching the long metal plate to the connecting portion, a three-layer structure in which an adhesive layer is provided on both surfaces of the tape base material is used. Double-sided adhesive waterproof tape is also commercially available.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The waterproof tape as described above can be manufactured at a low cost because it is sufficient to form an adhesive layer on both sides of the substrate, and because of the tape shape, it can be easily attached to the connecting portion of the long metal plate. However, since the tape thickness is thin, the filling of the connecting portion (goby) of the long metal plate connected by caulking is not sufficiently performed, and a gap is generated in the connecting portion due to aging, and waterproofness is reduced. There was a risk of lowering.
[0006]
In order to solve such a problem, it is conceivable to use a foam having a predetermined thickness as the tape base material. However, in this case, the tape is easily stretched, so that the tape is attached to the connecting portion of the long metal plate. When the tape is stretched, a thin portion is partially formed, and there is a possibility that the waterproof property of the thin portion may deteriorate with time.
Such a problem may be particularly significant when the connecting operation of the long metal plates is automatically performed by a dedicated device. In other words, when performing a work of pulling out the spirally wound waterproof tape and attaching it to the connecting portion of the long metal plate or a work of caulking and fixing the connecting portions with a dedicated device, it is difficult to adjust the tape pulling force. There is a possibility that the tape is unnecessarily elongated and the above-mentioned thin portion is generated, whereby the waterproofness is reduced and the tape may be cut.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of such a conventional situation, and the object thereof is a laminated tape structure in which an adhesive layer is provided on both surfaces of a base material made of a foam, which is used when attaching to a long metal plate. Provide a new waterproofing member for metal roofs that is not likely to be unnecessarily stretched, has excellent long-term waterproofness, and is suitable for automatic attaching work to a long metal plate and automatic caulking work using a dedicated device. It is in.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the inventors of the present application have conducted intensive studies, and as a result, based on a laminated tape having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided on both sides of a foam base material, and a material having no elasticity. The inventor has found that the above-mentioned object can be achieved by providing the present invention, and has completed the present invention.
That is, the present invention provides a waterproof member for a metal roof that is sandwiched between the connecting portions to provide waterproofing to the connecting portions when the connecting portions of the adjacent long metal plates are connected to each other to construct a metal roof. So,
Waterproofing for metal roofs, characterized in that a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is provided on both front and back surfaces of a tape-shaped base material made of a foam, and a layer made of an elastic material having flexibility but not elasticity is provided therein. It is a member.
[0009]
The waterproofing member for a metal roof of the present invention having such a configuration has a laminated tape structure in which an adhesive layer is provided on both sides of a tape-shaped base material made of a foam, so that a long metal plate to which the waterproofing member is attached is used. When connecting the connecting portions by caulking and fixing, the foam is compressed and sandwiched and filled by the restoring force without a gap in the connecting portion of the long metal plate due to its restoring force, maintaining high waterproofness for a long time. be able to. In addition, since a layer made of an elastic material having flexibility but not elasticity is laminated on the inside, a tape-shaped base material or an adhesive layer made of a foam is required when attaching to the connecting portion. There is no danger that the waterproofing property will not be reduced because of no extension.
Therefore, a waterproof member suitable for automatic sticking to a long metal plate and automatic caulking work by a dedicated device could be obtained.
[0010]
Examples of the expansion-constraining material used in the present invention include woven or non-woven fabrics made of natural fibers or synthetic fibers such as cotton, staple, polyethylene, and polypropylene, and films made of synthetic resins such as polyethylene and polypropylene. Above all, a nonwoven fabric in which a large number of openings are formed by synthesizing synthetic fibers arranged in a longitudinal direction and a horizontal direction at intervals and joining the intersections of the fibers, for example, a wariff and the like can be preferably used.
[0011]
Examples of the laminating mode of the layer made of the expansion / contraction material include a mode in which the layer is formed between the tape-shaped substrate and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and a mode in which the layer is formed within the thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.
[0012]
In a mode in which a layer made of the expansion-constraining material is laminated between the tape-shaped base material and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, when a fabric-like or film-like expansion-constraining material having no opening is used, the expansion-constraining material is heat-pressed. Alternatively, the tape is laminated on the surface of the tape-shaped substrate by an adhesive or the like. When a non-woven fabric (for example, warif) having a large number of openings is used as the expansion / contraction material, an adhesive or the like does not need to be used because the adhesive is integrally bonded to the base material through the openings.
[0013]
In an embodiment in which a layer made of an elastic material is laminated within the thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, when a fabric-like or film-like elastic material having no openings is used, a nonwoven fabric having a large number of openings (for example, a warif) In both cases, since the pressure-sensitive adhesives are integrally joined to the expansion / contraction regulating material, it is not necessary to use an adhesive or the like.
[0014]
Among them, considering the manufacturing cost and the strength against peeling of each laminated layer, a layer made of an expansion / contraction regulating material having a large number of openings is laminated and formed between the tape-shaped base material and the adhesive layer. Preferred embodiments or embodiments in which the adhesive layer is laminated within the thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer can be cited as preferred embodiments.
[0015]
As the tape-shaped substrate used in the present invention, a synthetic resin foam such as a polyethylene, a polyurethane, and a vinyl chloride, and various foams such as a natural rubber and a synthetic rubber can be used. Among these, a polyethylene resin foam can be preferably used in consideration of manufacturing cost, flexibility, mechanical strength, resilience, waterproofness due to independent foaming, and the like.
[0016]
As the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer used in the present invention, various pressure-sensitive adhesives such as synthetic resin-based and rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesives can be used. Among these, a butyl rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive can be preferably used in consideration of the production cost, waterproofness, ease of forming a laminate on a tape-like substrate, and the like.
[0017]
In the waterproofing member of the present invention, the thickness of the tape-shaped substrate is set to 25% or more of the thickness of the entire waterproofing member, and a release paper is formed on the surface of one of the adhesive layers provided on both surfaces of the tape-shaped substrate. It is preferable to spirally wind the product in a state of being attached and to use it.
In the wound waterproof member formed as described above, the ratio of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on both sides, which are exposed surfaces to which the release paper is not attached, is less than 75% of the area of the entire waterproof member. The adhesive strength is reduced, and the blocking property in a state where a plurality of wound waterproof members are stacked is reduced.
[0018]
That is, this kind of waterproofing member is usually manufactured in a spirally wound state, and at a construction site of a metal roof, a plurality of wound-shaped members are formed in a state where both exposed side surfaces are located vertically. It is prepared by stacking waterproof members. At this time, if the thickness of the tape-shaped base material is less than 25% of the total thickness of the waterproofing member, the ratio of the adhesive layer on the exposed surface of the wound waterproofing member on which the release paper is not affixed increases. As a result of the increase in the adhesive strength on the both side surfaces, a blocking property in a state in which a plurality of wound waterproof members are stacked is increased, resulting in a trouble that handling becomes troublesome.
In the present invention, as described above, since the blocking property is low even when a plurality of wound waterproof members are stacked, the top wound waterproof member can be easily taken up, and handling at a construction site or the like is easy. It will be easier.
[0019]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, examples of the embodiments will be described with reference to the drawings.
A waterproof member A for a metal roof (hereinafter simply referred to as a “waterproof member”) A shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is an adhesive made of a butyl rubber-based adhesive on both the front and back surfaces of a tape-shaped substrate 1 made of a polyethylene resin foam. A layer 4 made of an elastic material having flexibility but not elasticity is provided between the tape base material 1 and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2. It is formed in a tape shape having a width of about 6 to 6 mm and a width of about 5 to 30 mm. The release paper 5 is further adhered to the surface of one adhesive layer 2 and spirally wound.
[0020]
The polyethylene-based resin foam forming the tape-shaped substrate 1 is a known material for forming a substrate of an adhesive tape, and has desired flexibility, mechanical strength, durability, waterproofness, etc. Is formed in a tape shape having a thickness of about 0.5 to 2 mm, and when the connecting portions of the long metal plates to which the waterproof member A is attached are caulked and fixed to each other and connected, the connection is performed by the restoring force. It is sandwiched and filled without any gaps in the part, and exhibits high waterproofness for a long time.
[0021]
The pressure-sensitive adhesive layers 2 and 3 are formed by laminating a pressure-sensitive adhesive mainly composed of butyl rubber, which is known for forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, on the front and back surfaces of the tape-shaped substrate 1 to a thickness of about 0.05 to 1 mm, respectively. When the waterproof member A is attached to the connecting portion of the long metal plate, the waterproof member A is formed so as to exhibit an appropriate adhesive force capable of correcting the attached position.
[0022]
In the layer 4 made of the expansion and contraction restricting material, synthetic fibers such as polyethylene and polypropylene are arranged in parallel in the vertical and horizontal directions at intervals, and a large number of openings 4a are formed by joining the intersections of the fibers to form a mesh. A non-woven fabric having a thickness of about 0.03 to 0.3 mm (for example, "Nisseki Warif" manufactured by Nisseki Plastics Co., Ltd.). By laminating on one surface, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 is laminated and formed on the surface, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive forming the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 is adhered and integrated with the tape-shaped substrate 1 through the opening 4a. The waterproof member A is laminated between the tape-shaped base material 1 and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 so as not to hinder the flexibility of the waterproof member A but to regulate its elongation.
[0023]
If the opening area of the opening 4a is small and there is a concern about the strength of the tape-shaped substrate 1, the layer 4 made of the expansion and contraction control material, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 against the peeling, the weft orthogonal non-woven fabric is applied to the tape-shaped substrate 1. It is preferable that the adhesive layer 2 is adhered to one of the front and back surfaces with an adhesive or the like, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 is formed on the surface.
[0024]
The release paper 5 is a well-known member coated with silicon on both front and back surfaces, is attached to one adhesive layer 2 so as to be easily peeled off, and is the other adhesive of the spirally wound waterproof member A. It is in contact with layer 3 for easy release.
[0025]
As described above, the waterproof member A of the present example having the four-layer structure of the adhesive layer 2 / the layer 4 composed of the expansion / contraction regulating material (weft-orthogonal nonwoven fabric) / the tape-shaped substrate 1 / the adhesive layer 3 has a spiral shape. It is pulled out by the required length from the state where it is wound around, and the release paper 5 is peeled off and attached to one connecting portion of the long metal plates to be connected. At this time, since the layer 4 made of the elastic material prevents the tape-shaped substrate 1 and the adhesive layers 2 and 3 from being unnecessarily stretched, even if this attaching work is automatically performed by a dedicated device, The waterproof member A having a predetermined thickness can be adhered to the entire length of the connecting portion without causing a partial thin portion to be formed or cut on the tape-shaped base material 1.
After the attachment is completed, the connecting portions of the long metal plates are caulked and fixed to perform the connection. At this time, as shown in FIG. The metal plates 101 and 102 are sandwiched and filled without gaps between the connecting portions 103 and 104, so that the connecting portions can be provided with high waterproofness for a long time.
Although FIG. 3 shows a general vertical connecting shape as a connecting shape of long metal plates for constructing a metal roof, the waterproof member of the present invention is a tile bar type, a dovetail type, and a round goby. Various connection shapes such as formulas can be supported.
[0026]
FIG. 4 shows a waterproof member A ′ in which the layer 4 made of the expansion / contraction regulating material in the above-described waterproof member A is laminated within the thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2.
That is, the waterproofing member A ′ includes an adhesive layer 2a on one of the front and back surfaces of the tape-shaped base material 1, a layer 4 made of an expansion / contraction material formed on the surface of the adhesive layer 2a, and It is formed by laminating a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2b formed on the surface of a layer 4 made of an elastic material.
[0027]
Then, in the waterproof member A ', the adhesive layer 2a is adhered and integrated with the tape-shaped substrate 1, and the adhesive passes through the opening 4a of the nonwoven fabric and the adhesive layers 2a, 2b are mutually connected. Adhesively integrated to form a five-layer structure of an adhesive layer 2b / a layer made of an elastic material (elliptical nonwoven fabric) 4 / an adhesive layer 2a / a tape-shaped substrate 1 / an adhesive layer 3; 4 regulates the elongation of the waterproof member A, and the same effect as that of the above-described waterproof member A can be obtained.
In addition, since the pressure-sensitive adhesive layers 2a and 2b adhere to each other through the opening 4a of the weft nonwoven fabric, the layer 4 made of the expansion-contraction material can be laminated and integrated without using an adhesive or the like separately.
[0028]
【Example】
As a tape-shaped substrate made of a polyethylene-based resin foam, a corona-treated surface of both sides of Borrara IF08008 (0.8 mm thick) manufactured by Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd. was used. A pressure-sensitive adhesive layer made of a butyl rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive is provided in a thickness of 0.5 mm, and a weft-orthogonal nonwoven fabric (warif) is used as a stretch-controlling material. And a tape-shaped base material made of polyethylene resin foam, and a tape-shaped base material made of a polyethylene resin foam provided with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer made of a butyl rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive on both front and back surfaces thereof. A comparative sample 2 in the form of a tape having a width of 8 mm without forming a layer made of the material was formed.
[0029]
The samples 1 and 2 were subjected to a tensile test at a mark line distance of 12.5 mm and a tensile strength of 300 mm / min, and the breaking strength, the elongation at break, and the elongation under a load of 20 N were measured. Table 1 shows the results.
[0030]
[Table 1]
Figure 2004169508
[0031]
Further, as a sample of the waterproofing member of the present invention, a sample was prepared in which the layer made of the elastic material in Sample 1 was formed between the tape-shaped base material and one of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layers. , The same results as in Sample 1 were obtained.
From the above measurement results, the waterproofing member according to the present invention has excellent breaking strength, and does not generate unnecessarily large elongation, and thus is useful for connecting long metal plates using a dedicated device. It could be confirmed.
[0032]
As described above, an example of the embodiment of the present invention has been described with reference to the drawings and the like. However, the waterproof member for a metal roof according to the present invention is not limited to the above-described one, and the technical features described in each claim of the claims are not limited. It goes without saying that various modifications are possible within the scope of the idea.
[0033]
【The invention's effect】
The waterproofing member for a metal roof according to the present invention is configured as described above, and has the following effects.
[0034]
A tape-shaped substrate made of a foam is sandwiched in a compressed state at the connecting portion of the long metal plate, and the restoring force fills the connecting portion without a gap. High waterproofness can be provided.
Furthermore, the layer made of the expansion / contraction regulating material regulates unnecessarily elongation of the tape-shaped base material and the adhesive layer, so that when the long metal plate is attached to the connecting portion, a partial thin portion or cut is generated. Therefore, a new waterproof member suitable for automatic sticking to a long metal plate by a dedicated device and automatic crimping work can be provided.
[0035]
Also, by using a weft orthogonal nonwoven fabric or the like having a large number of openings as a stretch regulating material, a layer made of the stretch regulating material can be formed without using an adhesive or the like separately. Could be manufactured at cost.
[0036]
In addition, the thickness of the tape-shaped base material is set to 25% or more of the thickness of the entire waterproof member, and a release paper is attached to the surface of one of the adhesive layers and spirally wound to improve handling at the construction site. Has many effects such as excellent
