Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a paper-made heat-insulating cup holder to be mounted on an inverted truncated cone-shaped cup container.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in some fast food stores, a so-called cup holder made of a highly heat-insulating material such as foamed plastic, corrugated cardboard, or embossed paper is attached to a container containing hot liquid such as hot coffee. Thereby, there is an advantage that the heat of the container is prevented from being directly transmitted to the hand, and the cup container can be held for a long time (for example, see Patent Documents 1 and 2).

[Patent Document 2]
US Patent No. 5,205,473
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The cup holder described in Patent Literature 1 uses single-sided cardboard. However, since the liner (smooth) surface is on the outside, there is a problem that the hand is slippery when the cup container is heavy or large.
[0005]
On the other hand, although the cup holder described in Patent Literature 2 also uses single-sided corrugated cardboard, the hand is less likely to slip than the above-mentioned smooth surface because the step surface is on the outside. However, since the direction of the step is up and down, when the cup container is heavy, the container may still slide down. Of course, if the corrugated cardboard is to be neatly wound around the cylindrical cup container, the direction of the corrugated cardboard must be the up and down direction.
[0006]
Another problem with the conventional cup holder is that while holding the cup container in the hand, the cup holder is securely attached to the container, but when the container is placed on a table etc., the cup holder falls down by its own weight. That is to say. Therefore, every time the user holds the container, the user must re-attach the cup holder to the container.
[0007]
The present invention has been made to solve these problems, and a first object of the present invention is to provide a cup holder which is less likely to slip even when attached to a heavy cup container and is easy to hold. It is in.
[0008]
It is a second object of the present invention to provide a cup holder which does not easily come off the container once it is mounted.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A cup holder according to a first aspect of the present invention for solving the first object uses a single-sided cardboard provided with a ruled line formed by crushing a step linearly in a direction substantially perpendicular to the step. A loop is formed so that the corrugated surface of the single-sided corrugated cardboard having a band shape is outside, and a loop is formed along the shape of the desired cup container, and both ends are fixed.
[0010]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a cup holder using a single-sided uneven paper having one surface having an uneven surface and the other surface having a smooth surface. With the smooth surface of the uneven paper as the inside, a loop is formed along the shape of the intended cup container and both ends are fixed, and a hot melt adhesive is attached to a part of the smooth surface. I do.
[0011]
Instead of the hot melt adhesive described above, a weak adhesive may be used.

[0015]
In the cup holder according to the second aspect of the invention, the hot melt adhesive is attached to a part of the smooth surface of the single-sided uneven paper with the smooth surface inside. Since the hot melt adhesive does not have an adhesive ability at room temperature, the inside of the cup holder does not adhere to each other when the cup holder is folded. On the other hand, when mounted on a container containing hot contents, the hot melt adhesive melts and the cup holder is adhered to the container. For this reason, even if the container is placed with the cup holder attached, the cup holder does not fall from the container.
[0016]
As the hot-melt adhesive, any of the commonly used hot melt adhesives can be used. However, considering the reuse of the cup holder as used paper, it does not hinder the recovery of the used paper. An EVA (ethylene / vinyl acetate) hot melt adhesive, a moisture-curable PUR (polyurethane) hot melt adhesive, or the like is desirable.
[0017]
The melting temperature of the hot melt adhesive is desirably set to about 70 to 80 ° C. in consideration of the contents of the cup container.
[0018]
If a weak adhesive is used instead of the hot melt adhesive, the inside of the cup holder will adhere to each other when the cup holder is folded, but the adhesive force is weak, so when using it, open it with a slight force. Can be looped, no problem. When mounted in a cup container, the cup holder adheres to the outer surface of the container with a small force. Although the adhesive strength is weak, the weight of the cup holder itself is also small, so that the cup holder does not fall by its own weight as described above even when the cup container is placed on a desk or the like.
[0019]
When a weak adhesive is used, the cup holder can be fixed to the container regardless of the temperature of the contents to be put in the container. That is, the above effect can be obtained not only for hot drinks such as hot coffee but also for containers containing cold contents such as shaved ice and ice cream.
[0020]
As the weak pressure-sensitive adhesive, any of those generally commercially available can be used.
