Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a paper-made heat-insulating cup holder to be mounted on an inverted truncated cone-shaped cup container.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in some fast food stores, a so-called cup holder made of a highly heat-insulating material such as foamed plastic, corrugated cardboard, or embossed paper is attached to a container containing hot liquid such as hot coffee. Thereby, there is an advantage that the heat of the container is prevented from being directly transmitted to the hand, and the cup container can be held for a long time (for example, see Patent Documents 1 and 2).
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-2000-229677 ([0007], FIG. 2)
[Patent Document 2]
US Patent No. 5,205,473
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The cup holder described in Patent Literature 1 uses single-sided cardboard. However, when the cup holder is attached to a cup container, the outer surface is the flat plate (liner) side of the single-sided cardboard. Therefore, in the case of a relatively large container for storing ramen, udon, rice bowl, or the like, the container is large and the weight of the contents is large, so it is difficult to grasp with one hand, and there is a possibility that the hand may slip on such a surface. In addition, since the surface is flat, the contact area between the surface of the container and the hand is large, and the temperature of the container is directly transmitted to the hand, so that there is a problem that the user can easily feel the temperature of the container.
[0005]
Furthermore, there is a problem of productivity. Since such a cup holder must be supplied in large quantities at a very low cost, consideration for productivity is also important. The cup holder described in Patent Document 2 has the structure shown in FIG. As can be seen from FIG. 2, two single-faced cardboards are joined together. For this reason, a step for joining at two places is required, and the cost is high.
[0006]
The present invention has been made to solve such a problem, and an object of the present invention is to provide a cup holder which is easy to hold even a large cup container and has low production cost.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problem, and the present invention is applied to a case in which both sides of a single strip of paper having an uneven surface on the outside and a smooth surface on the inside when attached to a cup are overlapped and bonded. A paper cup holder constituted as described above, wherein corners of the end portions are cut off, and an adhesive is stuck in a V-shape at the overlapping portion.
[0008]
As this material paper, single-sided cardboard or single-sided embossed paper can be used.
[0009]
When using single-sided corrugated cardboard, it is desirable that the direction of the corrugation of the corrugated cardboard be perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the band-shaped paper, and that both ends of the band-shaped paper be parallel to the corrugation. Thereby, as described later, productivity can be improved.
[0010]
In either case of single-sided corrugated cardboard or single-sided embossed paper (or even when other materials are used), when not attached to the cup, it is bent by a perforation provided at two places sandwiching the center line, and flattened. It is desirable to keep it bulky so that it does not become bulky. At this time, it is desirable that the above-mentioned overlapping portion be located substantially at the center from the viewpoint of improving productivity described later.
[0011]
Alternatively, after the band-shaped paper is wound around the cup, the ends may be overlapped and protruded outward to form a handle. In this case, the handle portion (the portion where the ends are overlapped) may be adhered with an adhesive or fixed by fitting. Such a cup holder with a handle is particularly suitable for a small cup.
[0012]
Embodiments and effects of the present invention
An example of a method for manufacturing the paper cup holder according to the present invention is as follows. A strip-shaped material piece is cut out from material paper such as single-sided cardboard. For mass production, this is suitable for stamping. The corners of the ends of the material pieces are cut off. As a form of the resection, it is possible to round the corner into a round shape, or to cut off in a tapered shape.
[0013]
An adhesive is applied in a V-shape to one end of the strip-shaped material piece, and the other end is overlapped and adhered thereto. This ensures that the overlapping portions at both ends are adhered on a wide surface. In other words, the non-adhered end will not protrude inward or outward, so it will be an obstacle when attached to the cup (if it protrudes inward) or will be caught when holding it in your hand (if it protrudes outward) ) Is gone.
[0014]
Further, as described above, since the corners of the end portions are cut off, even if a slight displacement occurs at the time of bonding both ends, the sharp corners do not protrude up and down. When such a sharp corner is projected, there is a possibility that the cup container may be unexpectedly moved or turned over by catching a finger or a hand, but such a problem is prevented in the cup holder according to the present invention. Is done.
[0015]
When bonding both ends of the strip-shaped material piece as described above, the upper port is large, and the lower port is formed into an inverted truncated conical shape. At this time, the outer surface is an uneven surface, and the inner surface is a smooth surface. Since the uneven surface is present on the outside in this way, even when a large and heavy cup container is held, the user can surely hold the cup container without slipping the user's hand. When the uneven surface is held by a finger or a hand, the area of the skin in contact with the cup holder is small. Therefore, the user does not feel the temperature (heat / coldness) of (the contents of) the cup container more than the case having the smooth surface, and the user can easily hold the cup holder for a long time.
[0016]
【Example】
FIG. 1 is an exploded view of a single-sided cardboard cup holder according to an embodiment of the present invention. The holder main body 10 is formed of a single curved single-sided corrugated cardboard strip. The length L and width H of the paper piece, and the radii of curvature R 1 and R 2 of the curvature of the upper side 11 and the lower side 12 are determined according to the size of the cup container to be mounted. The corrugation of the corrugated cardboard is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the holder body 10. And both ends of the holder main body 10 are also perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the main body 10. That is, both ends of the main body 10 are parallel to the wave line. By doing so, in the process of mass-producing the holder 10, if the holder body 10 is transferred in the direction of the corrugated line while the both ends are regulated by the side walls, the holder body 10 will run straight without tilting, The occurrence of non-defective products and process stop accidents are prevented.
[0017]
At one end (the left side in FIG. 1), the upper and lower edges are cut off in a tapered shape, and at the other end (the right side in FIG. 1), the upper and lower corners are rounded. Perforations 13 and 14 are provided on both sides of the center line of the main body 10 as shown in FIG. Then, an adhesive is stuck to one end in a V-shape, and at both perforations 13 and 14, both sides are folded toward the center. Thereby, as shown in FIG. 2, both ends overlap at the center, and the cup holder is completed. Since the corners at both ends are cut off, even if both ends are displaced up and down, the sharp corners of the ends do not protrude up and down, so that hands or fingers are not caught on handling. In addition, since the adhesive is applied in a V-shape, both ends are bonded in a wide area, and when the holder body 10 is expanded to have an inverted truncated cone shape, the ends may protrude inward or outward. Is prevented. In addition, the amount of the adhesive can be minimized as compared with the case where the adhesive is adhered to the entire surface for this purpose.
[0018]
FIG. 3 shows a state where the assembled cup holder body 10 is mounted on the container 20. Since the inner surface of the cup holder body 10 is a smooth surface, the inner surface of the cup holder body 10 is securely in close contact with the container 20. On the other hand, since the corrugated sheet of single-faced cardboard is on the front side of the cup holder, the user can grip the container 20 reliably and without feeling too much of the temperature of the container. In addition, since the wavy lines are in the vertical direction, even when gripping a large container, the finger does not slide in the circumferential direction, and the finger can be reliably gripped.
[0019]
Next, FIG. 4 is a development view of a single-sided cardboard cup holder with a handle according to another embodiment. The method of assembling the cup holder is substantially the same as that of the above-mentioned cup holder, except that two perforations 31 are provided near both ends, where both ends are bent and projected outward to form a handle 33. It is desirable that the handle 33 be provided with a hole 34 for inserting a finger. It is desirable that both ends of the handle 33 be glued and fixed.
[0020]
FIG. 4 is an exploded view of a single-sided cardboard cup holder with a handle similarly. The handle 43 is fixed with notches 41 and 42 for fitting at both ends instead of an adhesive.
[0021]
In any of the above embodiments, the same effect can be obtained by using single-sided embossed paper instead of single-sided cardboard as the material.
