Abstract
【解決手段】 細長い刺入要素と、その細長い刺入要素の基端部に連通した支持体を保持するように構成されたチャンバと、そのチャンバと連通した流体抽出機構とを含み、その流体抽出機構が、細長い刺入要素からチャンバ内に流体を引き込み、その流体を支持体内を通過させることができる骨髄吸引装置。

Description
(1)更に、前記チャンバ内に取り外し可能に配置された前記支持体を保持するための容器を含み、その容器を前記流体が通過できることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
(2)前記チャンバが、前記容器を摺動可能に受容するような大きさの開口を含むことを特徴とする実施態様(1)に記載の装置。
(3)更に、前記細長い刺入要素と前記チャンバとの間に配置された一方向弁を含み、前記一方向弁が、前記細長い刺入要素から前記チャンバの方向にのみ前記流体を流すことができることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
(4)更に、前記流体抽出機構に接続された制御部材を含み、その制御部材が、その流体抽出機構によって抽出される前記流体の量を制御できることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
(5)前記制御部材が、前記流体抽出機構によって抽出される前記流体の速度を効果的に制御できることを特徴とする実施態様(4)に記載の装置。
(7)前記トリガー機構が前記流体抽出機構を作動させて、約20cc〜60ccの範囲の前記流体を抽出できることを特徴とする実施態様(6)に記載の装置。
(8)前記細長い刺入要素が、前記チャンバの先端部に取り外し可能に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
(9)前記チャンバが、前記流体抽出機構に連通した基端部、前記細長い刺入要素の前記基端部に連通したインレットポートを備えた先端部を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
(10)前記チャンバが、前記チャンバの前記インレットポートの基端側の位置に前記支持体を保持するように構成されていることを特徴とする実施態様(9)に記載の装置。
(12)前記チャンバが細長い円筒状バレルを含み、前記抽出機構が前記バレル内に配置されたプランジャを含み、前記プランジャが、そのプランジャを基端側に移動して前記装置内に前記流体を吸引することができるように構成されたハンドルを含むことを特徴とする実施態様(10)に記載の装置。
(13)前記プランジャが、所定の増分で基端側に移動して、前記装置内に吸引される前記流体の量を制御できるように構成されていることを特徴とする実施態様(12)に記載の装置。
(14)更に、前記支持体をその中に保持するように構成された円盤型容器を含み、その円盤型容器が、前記チャンバの前記円筒状バレル内に取り外し可能に配置できるように構成されていることを特徴とする実施態様(12)に記載の装置。
(15)前記細長い刺入要素の前記基端部が、前記チャンバの前記インレットポートに取り外し可能に接続されていることを特徴とする実施態様(10)に記載の装置。
(17)更に、前記チャンバと連通した流体受容器を含み、前記流体受容器が前記チャンバ及びそのチャンバ内に配置された前記支持体を通過した前記流体を受容するように構成されていることを特徴とする実施態様(9)に記載の装置。
(18)前記支持体が、前記流体受容器のインレットポートに配置されていることを特徴とする実施態様(17)に記載の装置。
(19)前記流体受容器が前記チャンバに取り外し可能に接続されていることを特徴とする実施態様(18)に記載の装置。
(20)更に、前記チャンバと前記流体受容器との間に配置された一方向弁を含み、前記一方向弁が前記チャンバから前記流体受容器の方向のみ前記流体を流すことができるように構成されていることを特徴とする実施態様(17)に記載の装置。
(22)更に、前記細長い刺入要素の前記基端部と前記チャンバの前記インレットポートの間に延在する導管を含み、これにより前記流体が前記細長い刺入要素から前記導管を経て前記チャンバ内に流れることを特徴とする実施態様(9)に記載の装置。
(23)前記導管が、前記細長い刺入要素の前記基端部及び前記チャンバの前記インレットポートに取り外し可能に取り付けられていることを特徴とする実施態様(17)に記載の装置。
(24)更に、前記チャンバと前記流体抽出機構との間に配置された流体受容器を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
(25)前記チャンバが、前記細長い刺入要素の前記基端部に連通したインレットポートと、前記流体受容器に連通したアウトレットポートとを含み、前記流体受容器が、前記チャンバの前記アウトレットポートと連通したインレットポートと、前記流体抽出機構と連通したアウトレットポートとを含むことを特徴とする実施態様(24)に記載の装置。
(27)前記流体抽出機構が、前記細長い刺入要素から前記チャンバを経て前記流体受容器内に前記流体を吸引できる吸入要素を含むことを特徴とする実施態様(26)に記載の装置。
(28)前記吸入要素が真空ポンプを含むことを特徴とする実施態様(27)に記載の装置。
(29)更に、前記流体受容器の前記インレットポートに配置された一方向弁を含み、この一方向弁により、前記流体受容器の前記インレットポート内に前記流体が流れ、前記流体受容器の前記インレットポートから前記流体が流出するのが防止されることを特徴とする実施態様(26)に記載の装置。
(30)前記細長い刺入要素が前記患者の骨に刺入され、抽出される前記流体が骨髄であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
(32)更に、前記容器内に存在する前記支持体を含み、前記支持体が、同種骨移植片、自己骨移植片、合成材料、精製された材料、及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする実施態様(31)に記載の方法。
(33)前記チャンバが、前記細長い刺入要素の前記基端部に取り外し可能に接続された先端部を備えた細長い円筒状バレルを含み、前記流体抽出機構が前記バレル内に配置されたプランジャを含み、前記プランジャが、そのプランジャを基端側に移動して前記装置内に流体を吸引することができるように構成されたハンドルを含むことを特徴とする実施態様(30)に記載の方法。

Claims (2)
- 骨髄吸引装置であって、
基端部、先端部、及びそれらの間に延在する内腔を備えた細長い刺入要素と、
前記細長い刺入要素の基端部に連通した、支持体を取り外し可能に保持するように構成されたチャンバと、
前記チャンバと連通した流体抽出機構とを含み、
前記流体抽出機構が、前記細長い刺入要素を介して前記チャンバ内に至って前記支持体を通過するように流体を吸引できるように構成されていることを特徴とする骨髄吸引装置。 - 支持体を調製する方法であって、
基端部、骨に刺入するように構成された先端部、及びそれらの間に延在する内腔を備えた細長い刺入要素と、前記細長い刺入要素の前記基端部に連通したチャンバと、前記チャンバ内に配置された支持体と、前記細長い刺入要素から前記チャンバ内に流体を引き込み、前記支持体を通過させることができる流体抽出機構とを備えた骨髄吸引装置を用意するステップと、
前記細長い刺入要素の前記先端部を患者に刺入するステップと、
前記流体抽出機構を作動させて前記患者から前記細長い刺入要素を介して前記チャンバ内に流体を引き込み、前記支持体内を通過させ、これにより生体物質からの細胞を前記支持体内に凝縮するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。
