本発明は、毛髪等を梳き整髪する櫛及び整髪ブラシ等の整髪具に関するものである。

従来の「櫛」あるいは「コーム」と呼ばれる図7に示した整髪具において、101は毛髪等を梳く髪梳き部、102は取扱いの際に人の手等で保持する握り部である。この従来例では、有機系あるいは無機系の抗菌剤を含む混合物で整髪具を構成し、雑菌の繁殖やカビの発生を抑制している。(例えば、特許文献1参照。)または、抗菌性のゼオライトを利用して整髪具を構成している。(例えば、特許文献2参照)これらの従来例の場合、抗菌材を活用し、雑菌の繁殖やカビの発生を抑制することにおいて効果が期待できるが、整髪具を利用した後に整髪対象の組織あるいは皮脂あるいは整髪剤等の有機物が整髪具へ付着した場合はその付着物は付着したまま残存してしまい、その残存した付着物をコロニーとして雑菌の繁殖やカビの発生等が起こる。
さらには、または「整髪ブラシ」と呼ばれる図8に示した整髪具では、同様に抗菌性のゼオライトを利用して整髪具を構成している。(例えば、特許文献3参照)しかるに、この場合の従来の整髪具においても同様に抗菌材を活用し、雑菌の繁殖やカビの発生を抑制することにおいて効果が期待できるが、整髪具を利用した後に整髪対象の組織あるいは皮脂あるいは整髪剤等の有機物が整髪具へ付着した場合はその付着物は付着したまま残存してしまい、その残存した付着物をコロニーとして雑菌の繁殖やカビの発生等が起こる。以上に様に従来の整髪具においては、自浄作用・抗菌性が不十分であり、使用された整髪具等では整髪対象の組織あるいは皮脂あるいは整髪剤等の整髪具への付着が起こり易く、その付着物は付着したまま残存してしまい、その残存した付着物が雑菌・カビ等の微生物の発生と繁殖を加速することが多く、利用に際して衛生状態が不十分であり、かつ、整髪具から不快な異臭が発生する原因にも成りうるという欠点があった。

上記課題を解決するために本発明では、光に露光されて触媒反応を起こす光触媒としてよく知られている酸化物半導体の二酸化チタンをその構成材料の一部あるいは全部として用い、自浄作用・抗菌性・消臭性を具備する整髪具を構成する。
この酸化チタン光触媒は露光すると空気中の酸素や水から活性酸素と呼ばれる物質を生成する。この活性酸素には、その強い酸化力等によって、表面に付着した種々の有機物を分解し雑菌を殺し臭いを分解する作用がある。
本発明では保管時あるいは利用時に雑菌・カビ等の微生物の発生と繁殖が抑制され、十分良い衛生状態に保たれ、整髪具からの異臭の発生を抑制・解消する整髪具を提供する一手段として、光に露光されて触媒反応を起こす光触媒としてよく知られている酸化物半導体の酸化チタン光触媒を整髪具の構成材料の全部あるいは一部として用いることを課題解決の手段としている。

以下に、この発明の実施の形態を図に基づいて説明する。
図1、図2、図3、図4、図5、図6は本発明の整髪具の実施の形態を示す説明図である。図1、図3、図5は本発明の実施例の概観、図2、図4、図6はそれぞれ要部断面構造を明示した説明図である。
図1、図2、図3、図4、図5、図6において、1は毛髪等を梳く髪梳き部、2は取扱いの際に人の手等で保持する握り部、3は表層、4は芯部、5は導光部6は発光体である。
本発明の整髪具においては、図1にある様に、全体外観的には従来の整髪具と同様であるが、図2の要部断面構造(図2は図1中のA−A’部の断面構造)を明示した説明図に明示されている様に、本実施例の整髪具の表層3は酸化チタン光触媒が含有されている可塑性樹脂等を用いて構成している。
この二酸化チタンと酸化チタンの混合物あるいは単独組成物からなる酸化チタン光触媒は光があたると、荷電子帯にある電子が、伝導帯に励起され、これにより荷電子帯には正孔が生成し、伝導体には電子が生成する。これらは活性が高く表面では、荷電子帯側では酸化反応が、伝導体側では還元反応が起こる事が知られている。特徴として、酸化チタン光触媒は強い酸化・還元力を持ちいろいろな化合物を酸化・還元する。こうして、酸化チタン光触媒は空気中の酸素や水から活性酸素を生成する。この活性酸素には、その強い酸化力によって、表面に付着した種々の有機物や窒素酸化物等を分解し雑菌を殺し異臭の元となる雑菌を殺すことのみならず、異臭そのものもを分解する作用があることが知られている。この様に酸化チタン光触媒は自浄作用・抗菌性・消臭性を具備する素材として知られている。
図1、図2の本発明の実施例では、可塑性樹脂及び金属等を利用して形成された芯部4の表面に酸化チタン光触媒が含有されている可塑性樹脂か、あるいは酸化チタン光触媒自体を塗布あるいはコーティングなどの手段により表層3として配置している。この際必要に応じて芯部4と表層3の間の密着を良くする手段を用いることが有用であることは言うまでもない。その上、本発明の実施例では芯部4に用いた可塑性樹脂を透明で透光性の素材を用いており、当該の透明で透光性の芯部4が一部表面に露出して酸化チタン光触媒で覆われていない導光部5を構成している。なおかつ、当該の芯部4を構成する可塑性樹脂にはその透光性が損なわれない程度に少なくとも蓄光性の蛍光素材を含み必要に応じてこの蛍光素材の発する光を可視光を含む光に変換して発光する素材等を具備して成る発光体6として混入分散させてある。
ここで、発光体6は必ずしも蓄光性の蛍光素材及びこの蛍光素材の発する光を可視光を含む光に変換して発光する素材等より成るものである必要は無く、豆電球や発光ダイオード等に適切に用意した電池等の電源から必要に応じて電気を供給して必要に応じて発光させるものを発光体6として適切な位置に配置しても良いことは言うまでもない。(例えば導光部5付近に配置して内部に光を照射する仕組みとしても良い)
ところで、本発明の整髪具の全表面に渡って酸化チタン光触媒が含有されている可塑性樹脂により覆うことにより表層3とした場合、酸化チタン光触媒の混合・分散の様子を適切に設定し、それぞれの粒子の隣り合う間隔を適切に設定してやることにより、この際に当該の表層3を構成している可塑性樹脂に透光性の素材を利用すれば、表面に存在する酸化チタン光触媒の粒子と粒子の間隔には光が導入されることは言うまでもなく、これを導光部5とすることも可能である。この表面に存在する酸化チタン光触媒の隣接する粒子の間隔は少なくとも光が通過可能な間隔であれば良く、他の要因も考慮した上で設定すれば良い。この場合の導光部5から導入された光はより内部に光が導入され、より内部において導入された光の一部が内部で反射され本発明の整髪具の表面に戻って表面に存在する酸化チタン光触媒にこの戻って来た光が照射されて光触媒反応を実現できることも言うまでもない。この場合、本発明の整髪具の表層3が十分な厚みに設定されていれば、より内部の芯部4等においては必ずしも透光性が確保されていなくても、表層3内部での反射光による十分な効果があることは言うまでもない。その際には芯部4をより光の反射効率が高い素材であれば何でも良く、例えば白色の可塑性樹脂あるいは金属等の光を反射する素材で構成すると芯部4の表面で反射された光が表面の戻り、表面に存在する酸化チタン光触媒に光りが照射されて十分な光触媒反応が実現できることは言うまでも無い。
さらに必要であるならば、整髪具の全てを透明で透光性の可塑性樹脂を主素材とし、前記発光体6や酸化チタン光触媒が少なくとも含有され混入分散されている素材で一体物として構成することも有用であることは言うまでもない。
また、酸化チタン光触媒が含有される材料を配置する部分としては、整髪具の部分的な表面部位かあるいは整髪具の表面全体に関して実施するかはその必要に応じて行えば良い。図1、図2においては本発明の整髪具(導光部5を除く)のほぼ全ての表面に酸化チタン光触媒かあるいは酸化チタン光触媒を含有した素材を配置した例であるが、必要に応じて利用される状況を考慮して適切な部位の表面に酸化チタン光触媒自体かあるいは少なくとも酸化チタン光触媒を含有した素材を配置することによりそれに応じた効果が得られることは言うまでもない。
さらに、酸化チタン光触媒を含有する表層3を形成するにあたって、型成形によるキャストの方法のみならず、スプレーコートあるいはディピングあるいは蒸着等の各種薄膜形成等の方法が有効であることは言うまでもない。
ところで、本実施例では自浄作用・抗菌性・消臭性を具備し容易に得られる代表例として酸化チタン光触媒を用いたが、本実施例の自浄作用・抗菌性・消臭性を具備する整髪具を構成するにはこれと同様な機能を果たす材料であれば、酸化チタン光触媒に限定されるものでないことは言うまでもない
従来の整髪具においては、使用後に必要があれば洗浄してから保管する際において、残存の汚れ及び不完全な保管状態に起因して雑菌・カビ等の微生物の発生と繁殖が避け難かったが、本発明の実施例においては、光を浴び露光される環境で保管されれば、整髪具の外部からの直接光が本発明の整髪具の表面に配置された酸化チタン光触媒に照射され、あるいは導光部5より外部から導入された光が本発明の整髪具の内部の芯部4に満ち、内部から光が本発明の整髪具の表面に配置された酸化チタン光触媒に照射されることは言うまでもない。その上、一旦こうして光を浴びると本発明の整髪具に具備された蓄光性の蛍光素材及びこの蛍光素材の発する光を可視光を含む光に変換して発光する素材等より成る発光体6で外部からの光が消えた後にも一定の有限の時間のみ追従的に内部からの光が本発明の整髪具の表面に配置された酸化チタン光触媒に照射される。こうして光を浴びた酸化チタン光触媒の自浄作用・抗菌・消臭等の作用により表面に付着した有機物が分解され雑菌・カビ等の微生物を殺すことが可能であり、雑菌・カビ等の発生と繁殖が抑制され、異臭の発生も抑制される。特に、整髪具の髪梳き部1では、人体あるいは動物の毛髪、あるいはその他鬘等の毛髪状構造物等を梳いて使用する際に梳く対象物の組織あるいは皮脂あるいは整髪剤等の各種の付着物が整髪具に付着し残存して放置されることが多い。このとき、これらの各種の付着物がこびり付いた部位でそれをコロニーとして雑菌・カビ等の発生と繁殖が起こりがちであり避けがたい。通常、整髪具は通常は光を浴び露光される環境で使用されるので、本発明の実施例においては酸化チタン光触媒により、表面に付着した主に有機物で構成される梳く対象物の組織あるいは皮脂あるいは整髪剤等の各種の残存した付着物が分解・解消されなおかつ雑菌・カビ等の微生物を殺すことが可能であり雑菌・カビ等の発生と繁殖が抑制される。その上死滅した雑菌・カビ等の死骸も酸化チタン光触媒の作用により分解・解消される。
ところで、残存した付着物が原因で発生する異臭には、雑菌・カビ等が原因となる異臭と、人体あるいは動物の毛髪、あるいはその他鬘等の毛髪状構造物等を梳いて使用する際に梳く対象物の組織あるいは皮脂あるいは整髪剤等の各種の付着物そのものが発する異臭とが考えられる。本実施例の場合有機物や窒素酸化物等に対する効果がある酸化チタン光触媒を用いているので、これらのいずれの異臭そのものをも分解・解消でき、異臭の発生をより効果的に抑制することが可能であることは言うまでもない。
また、取扱いの際に人の手等で握り部2を保持するが、人の手は雑菌が非常に多く、こうして取り扱うだけで、整髪具の握り部2は雑菌等の微生物で汚染される。ところが、本発明の実施例においては、こうして取扱っても使用の合間には通常では光を浴びる環境で使用されるので酸化チタン光触媒により表面に付着した有機物が分解・解消されなおかつ雑菌・カビ等の微生物を殺すことが可能であり雑菌・カビ等の発生と繁殖が抑制され、異臭の発生も抑制される。
図3、図4(図4は図3中のB−B’部の断面構造)も一般に「くし」、「櫛」等と呼ばれる形態の整髪具の例であるが、この場合も同様に光に露光されて触媒反応を起こす光触媒としてよく用いられる酸化物半導体の酸化チタン光触媒をその構成材料の一部あるいは全部としてその表層3等に用い自浄作用・抗菌性・消臭性を具備する整髪具を構成したものであり、上記「くし」、「櫛」、「コーム」等と呼ばれる形態の整髪具と同様な自浄作用・抗菌性・消臭性の機能・効果があることは言うまでもない。
図5、図6(図6は図5中のC−C’部の断面構造)では一般に「整髪ブラシ」と呼ばれる形態の整髪具における本発明の実施例の場合である。この場合も同様に光に露光されて触媒反応を起こす光触媒としてよく用いられる酸化物半導体の酸化チタン光触媒をその構成材料の一部あるいは全部としてその表層3等に用い自浄作用・抗菌性・消臭性を具備する整髪具を構成したものであり、上記「くし」、「櫛」、「コーム」等と呼ばれる形態の整髪具と同様な自浄作用・抗菌性・消臭性の機能・効果があることは言うまでもない。
以上の様に結果として本発明では保管時あるいは利用時に雑菌・カビ等の微生物の発生と繁殖が抑制され、十分良い衛生状態に保たれ、異臭の発生を抑制することが可能である整髪具を提供している。

【発明の効果】
以上の様に、本発明では酸化チタン光触媒をその構成材料の一部あるいは全部として用いて整髪具を構成することにより、当該の整髪具の表面に付着した有機物が分解され雑菌・カビ等の微生物を殺すことが可能であり雑菌・カビ等の発生と繁殖が抑制され、さらには整髪具に付着した付着物をも分解・解消し、その付着物が原因となって発生する異臭を抑制・解消する。
結果として本発明では保管時あるいは利用時に整髪具表面において雑菌・カビ等の微生物の発生と繁殖が抑制され、十分良い衛生状態に保たれ、異臭の発生が抑制されるという効果がある。
なお、本発明では酸化チタン光触媒をその構成材料の一部あるいは全部として用いて整髪具を構成することにより、当該の整髪具の周辺の雰囲気に含まれる異臭をも分解・解消する効果もある。特に、有機物、窒素酸化物のみでなく、硫黄酸化物をも分解することが知られており、これらのものが原因となる異臭を分解・解消する効果も具備していることは言うまでもない。
