しかしながら上記の従来の構成では、放送局の選択とその放送局が放送している複数のチャンネルを選択する２つのボタン操作が必要であり、また選局してみて初めて複数の番組が放送されていることがわかるため、視聴者にとって不便であるという問題点を有していた。

この目的を達成するために本発明のデジタル放送受信機は、デジタル放送を受信するチューナー部、復調部、リモコン信号受光部と、チューナー部を制御し選局するためのマイコンを備え、放送局を指定するボタンを有するリモコンにより、同一放送局から放送されている複数チャンネルをリモコンの同一ボタンによって順番に切り替わる制御装置を備えた構成を有している。
