本発明は、電気自動車のバッテリー、インバータ及びモータ等の水密機構が必要な電気機器に配線されるシールド層付ケーブルの端末構造に関する。

【従来の技術】
電気自動車のバッテリーとインバータ間、及びインバータとモータ間に配線されるシールド層付ケーブルの端末構造として、例えば図3に示す構造が知られている。この構造の要約を説明すると、ハウジング2の軸方向に突出した第一のシール部材3にシールド部材4が密着し、その外側に第二のシール部材5が密着している。突部32と係合部31の可動範囲でハウジング側の孔28がシールド部材の長孔40に連通している。ハウジング2は、フランジ部11と環状壁14,15で成る。シールド部材4の一段目の環状部37に嵌合した環状壁15が孔部51に接し、二段目の環状部38に嵌合したシール部材3の外側にシール部材5が嵌合し、三段目の環状部39にシールド電線6がシールドスリーブ8で接続される。また、ハウジングの水抜き孔23やストッパホルダ10やクッションリング9が設けられている。このような構造によって、優れた水密性を得ることができ、また、シールド層の確実な接地を行うことができる(例えば、特許文献1参照。)。

しかし、従来のシールド層付ケーブルの端末構造は、部品点数が多く構造が複雑であることから、コストが高くなり、また、取付対象の貫通穴にシールド層付ケーブルを所定の水密構造並びに接地構造を確保しながら取り付ける際に時間が掛かるという問題がある。

本発明は、かかる点に鑑みてなされたものであり、取付対象の貫通穴にシールド層付ケーブルを所定の水密構造並びに接地構造を確保しながら短時間で取り付けることができ、低コストで実現することができるシールド層付ケーブルの端末構造を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために、本発明のシールド層付ケーブルの端末構造は、取付対象にシールド層付ケーブルを水密状態に取り付けると共に、前記シールド層付ケーブルの絶縁体上に形成されたシールド層を前記取付対象に接地状態に取り付けるシールド層付ケーブルの端末構造において、前記シールド層付ケーブルの外被が剥ぎ取られて露出された絶縁体上に挿通され、一端部が前記絶縁体と前記シールド層との間に配置され、前記取付対象にネジ固定されるフランジ部を有する筒状金具と、前記シールド層上に挿通され、加締められることによって前記シールド層を筒状金具の一端部上に固着させる金属スリーブと、前記取付対象の貫通穴に挿入される前記筒状金具の他端部外周に装着され、前記貫通穴の内壁と密着して水密構造を形成するシールド部材と、前記筒状金具、前記金属スリーブを介した前記シールド層及び前記外被の上に挿通されて熱収縮させられた熱収縮チューブと、前記筒状金具と前記熱収縮チューブ間と、前記外被と前記熱収縮チューブ間にそれぞれ介装され、前記熱収縮チューブの収縮力によって圧潰されたOリングとを備えたことを特徴としている。

以下、本発明の実施の形態について、図面を参照して詳細に説明する。

(実施の形態)
図1(a)及び(b)に示す本実施の形態に係るシールド層付ケーブル100の端末構造は、ケーブル100の外被101が剥ぎ取られて露出された絶縁体102とシールド層103との間に、ハウジングである筒状金具104の一端部分が介装され、この筒状金具104に金属製のフランジ部105が組み込まれ、筒状金具104の他端部が、電子機器のパネルである取付対象106の貫通穴106aに挿通されると共に、フランジ部105が取付対象106のネジ穴106aにネジ112で固定される構造となっている。

更に詳細には、筒状金具104の一端部分を被覆するシールド層103の外周に金属スリーブ(フェルール)107が挿通されて加締められることにより、シールド層103が筒状金具104に固着されている。また、シールド層103が露出された近傍の外被101には、ニトリルゴムやシリコーンゴム材によるOリング108aが締まり嵌めによって装着され、更に、シールド層103の先端と取付対象106の壁面に当接されたフランジ部105との間に露出する筒状金具104にもOリング108bが装着されている。

更に、取付対象106の外側に位置するフランジ部105と外被101の一端部との間には、各Oリング108a,108b、金属スリーブ107、シールド層103並びに筒状金具104を被覆して熱収縮チューブ109が装着されている。この熱収縮チューブ109は、所定の温度で加熱したのち冷却することによって収縮するものであり、この収縮の力を受けて各Oリング108a,108bが圧潰され、この圧潰によって筒状金具104と熱収縮チューブ109間、及びシールド層103と熱収縮チューブ109間に水密性を与えている。

また、筒状金具104における取付対象106の貫通穴106aに挿入される外周には、この外周に沿って凹溝110が形成され、凹溝110にOリング111が装着されている。このOリング111は、貫通穴106aの内壁と密着して矢印Y1で示す取付対象106とフランジ部105との間、及びフランジ部105と熱収縮チューブ109との間から浸入する水を阻止する機能を果たしている。つまり、水密構造を形成している。また、筒状金具104の先端外周にはテーパー104aが形成されており、貫通穴106aへの挿入がしやすくなっている。

図2(a)及び(b)に示すように、取付対象106の貫通穴106aは、筒状金具104の外周と同形状に形成されており、この貫通穴106aの筒状金具104が挿入される挿入口は、筒状金具104を挿入しやすくするためにテーパー形状106bに成形されている。また、貫通穴106aの上方には、フランジ部105を固定するためのネジ112(図1参照)を螺合するネジ穴106bが形成されている。フランジ部105は、筒状金具104を介してシールド層103と電気的に接続されているので、フランジ部105を取付対象106のネジ穴106bにネジ112で固定することによってケーブル100を接地することができるようになっている。

このように、本実施の形態のシールド層付ケーブル100の端末構造は、段剥されたケーブル100の絶縁体102上に挿通され、一端部が絶縁体102とシールド層103との間に配置され、取付対象106にネジ固定されるフランジ部105を有する筒状金具104と、シールド層103上に挿通され、加締められることによってシールド層103を筒状金具104の一端部上に固着させる金属スリーブ107と、取付対象106の貫通穴106aに挿入される筒状金具104の他端部外周に装着され、貫通穴106aの内壁と密着して水密構造を形成するOリング111と、筒状金具104、金属スリーブ107を介したシールド層103及び外被101上に挿通されて熱収縮された熱収縮チューブ109と、筒状金具104と熱収縮チューブ109間、及び、外被101と熱収縮チューブ109間にそれぞれ介装され、熱収縮チューブ109の収縮力によって圧潰されたOリング108a,108bとを備えて成る。

つまり、フランジ部105を有する筒状金具104と、金属スリーブ107と、貫通穴106aの内壁と密着して水密構造を形成するOリング111と、熱収縮チューブ109と、この熱収縮チューブ109の収縮力によって圧潰され、取付対象106から外側に突き出たケーブル100側の水密構造を形成するOリング108a,108bとを備えた構造としたので、従来のシールド層付ケーブルの端末構造に比べ、部品点数が少なく構造が簡単であることから、低コストとすることができる。

また、シールド層付ケーブル100を取付対象106に取り付ける場合、取付対象106の貫通穴106aに筒状金具104をケーブル100の先端と共に差し込んで、フランジ部105をネジ112で固定すれば、所定の水密構造並びに接地構造を確保しながら取り付けることができるので、短時間で取り付けることができる。

また、取付対象106の外側に突き出るケーブル100の防水構造を、ケーブル100の外被101とほぼ同じ外径の筒状金具104を、外被101と共に熱収縮チューブ109で被覆して行えばよいので、取付対象106の外部に突き出た部分の外径を小さくすることができる。

また、従来のシールド層付ケーブルの端末構造において、取付対象106の外部に突き出たハウジング内に、防水構造とするためにケーブル100の長手方向に沿ってラバープラグ並びにワイヤスペーサを配列して挿入するタイプのものがあるが、本実施の形態の端末構造では、ラバープラグ並びにワイヤスペーサを使用しないので、従来のタイプのものよりも、取付対象106の外壁からハウジング(筒状金具104)の端までの長さを短くすることができる。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、本発明のシールド層付ケーブルの端末構造によれば、シールド層付ケーブルの外被が剥ぎ取られて露出された絶縁体上に挿通され、一端部が絶縁体とシールド層との間に配置され、取付対象にネジ固定されるフランジ部を有する筒状金具と、シールド層上に挿通され、加締められることによってシールド層を筒状金具の一端部上に固着させる金属スリーブと、取付対象の貫通穴に挿入される筒状金具の他端部外周に装着され、貫通穴の内壁と密着して水密構造を形成するシールド部材と、筒状金具、金属スリーブを介したシールド層及び外被の上に挿通されて熱収縮させられた熱収縮チューブと、筒状金具と熱収縮チューブ間と、外被と熱収縮チューブ間にそれぞれ介装され、熱収縮チューブの収縮力によって圧潰されたOリングとを備えた構造とした。従って、従来のシールド層付ケーブルの端末構造に比べ、部品点数が少なく構造が簡単であることから、低コストとすることができる。また、シールド層付ケーブルを取付対象に取り付ける場合、取付対象の貫通穴に筒状金具をケーブルの先端と共に差し込んで、フランジ部をネジ固定すれば、所定の水密構造並びに接地構造を確保しながら取り付けることができるので、短時間で取り付けることができる。
