TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an ion generator mounted on an automobile.

[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art In general, a device that removes bacteria floating in the air by generating ions and releasing the ions into the air is known. For example,

By the way, the above-described ion generator requires a more appropriate configuration according to the usage form. For example, bacteria in the air tend to adhere to dust and dirt and float.Particularly in automobiles, when the engine is started, dust and dirt fly up, and the number of bacteria in the air can rise significantly. Has been confirmed. Therefore, for an ion generator mounted on an automobile, measures to cope with such a change in the situation are considered to be important in order to remove bacteria more efficiently.
[0004]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide an excellent automobile ion generator.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The invention described in
[0006]
FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram illustrating the characteristics of the number of bacteria in the air in a vehicle. As shown in the figure, the number of bacteria in the air in the vehicle usually rises significantly when the engine is started (see graph A). On the other hand, if the generation of ions is started simultaneously with the start of the engine and the ions are released into the vehicle, the increase in the number of bacteria in the air can be reduced and the number of bacteria in the vehicle can be suppressed to a low level (graph B). However, when the ions are continuously emitted in this manner, the power consumption of the ion generator becomes extremely large. Therefore, in order to efficiently remove bacteria, it is preferable to provide a control means in the ion generator so as to generate ions according to the situation. In particular, the vehicle ion generator of the present invention sets an initial mode in which ions are generated for a predetermined time when the engine of the vehicle is started, and prevents an increase in the number of bacteria in the vehicle that occurs simultaneously with the start of the engine. It has a configuration. The increase in the number of bacteria tends to accelerate in proportion to time until reaching a certain number of bacteria. Therefore, the initial mode may be set at a time when bacteria in the air are removed as much as possible. That is, if the number of bacteria in the air is insufficient, the number of bacteria rapidly increases immediately after stopping the generation of ions (see graph C). However, once the bacteria are removed as much as possible, it takes some time. This can be suppressed to a low level without generating ions (see graph D). An arrow t attached to the graph D indicates a time period when the number of bacteria is at a relatively low level. The re-generation of ions may be performed during the time period t.
[0007]
The invention described in
[0008]
The inventor of the present application determined the conditions of an ion generator suitable for an automobile and conducted the following experiment. That is, the ion generator was installed on an instrument panel of a car, and ions were released into the car for 10 minutes, and the number of falling bacteria was counted thereafter. The number of falling bacteria was counted by changing the amount of generated positive ions and negative ions. Table 1 shows the results of the experiment. The number of positive ions and the number of negative ions shown in the table are measured values at the position above the driver's seat. The number of falling bacteria was determined by placing a petri dish (diameter: 90 mm) containing an agar medium on the passenger seat, removing the lid, collecting microorganisms that fell for 10 minutes, and culturing them at culture conditions of 35 ° C for 72 hours. It is a value obtained by culturing for hours.
[0009]
[Table 1]
From the experimental results shown in Table 1, it can be seen that the effect of removing bacteria by ions appears significantly when the number of positive ions and the number of negative ions each exceed about 2000 / cc. In particular, the number of positive ions and the number of negative ions slightly vary depending on the location in the vehicle, but considering the air circulation and the like, it is considered that the average in the vehicle should be 2000 pieces / cc or more. That is, the present invention is an automobile ion generator in which the time of the initial mode and the amount of generated ions in the initial mode are appropriately set in order to reliably reduce the number of bacteria in the air in the vehicle.
