Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for treating eggshell discharged from the food manufacturing industry using raw eggs as a raw material, and more particularly to a method and an apparatus for treating eggshell which are dried and converted into feed.
[0002]
[Prior art]
[Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-169732 Egg shells are discharged in large quantities from a chicken farm, an egg collection farm, and a food manufacturing industry using raw eggs as a raw material, such as a mayonnaise plant. Traditionally, eggshells are incinerated with other garbage. This is because the method of treating eggshell has not been established. However, incineration requires a large amount of energy and may generate dioxins.
By the way, the eggshell has a high-quality calcium component. Therefore, eggshells are useful as feed ingredients. For example, the above-mentioned Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-169732 describes that broken eggs and broken eggs are heated and solidified to be used as nutrients for feed of farmed fish and feed of livestock.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The prior art is directed to white and yolk, which are the contents of eggs, and is excluded from the conversion of eggshell into feed. For this reason, there is a strong demand for the development of a technology for using eggshells having a high-quality calcium component as feed.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a method and an apparatus for treating eggshell, which can be used as a feed by drying eggshell discharged from a food manufacturing industry using raw eggs as a raw material.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A feature of the present invention is that the eggshell is dehydrated by centrifugation, dried by ventilation, and the dried eggshell is sterilized by ultraviolet rays and then crushed to a predetermined particle size.
In the present invention, since the eggshell is dehydrated by centrifugation and dried by ventilation, the eggshell contains about 30% of water, and even if about 5% of white remains in the thin film on the inner surface of the eggshell, the moisture is reduced to 10%. Egg shell can be used for feeding and effective use.
[0005]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a configuration diagram showing one embodiment of the present invention.
In FIG. 1, an eggshell 1 is stored in a basket 2 for centrifugation. The basket 2 is mounted on a rotation mechanism 4 provided on the bottom of the centrifuge 3. A fan 5 for sending air to the eggshell 1 is attached to the upper surface in the centrifuge 3. An ultraviolet lamp 6 for irradiating the eggshell 1 with ultraviolet light is attached to a side surface inside the centrifuge 3.
The eggshell 1 stored in the basket 2 and dehydrated, dried and sterilized is put into the crusher 7. The crusher 7 crushes the eggshell 1 to a predetermined particle size. The eggshell 1 crushed to a predetermined particle size by the crusher 7 is collected in the receiver 8.
[0006]
Next, the operation will be described.
The eggshell 1 discharged from a mayonnaise factory or the like is stored in a basket 2 for centrifugation. Eggshell 1 discharged from a mayonnaise factory or the like contains about 30% of water, and about 5% of white remains in a thin film on the inner surface of eggshell 1. The basket 2 containing the eggshell 1 is mounted on a rotation mechanism 4 provided on the bottom of the centrifuge 3.
[0007]
In this state, the rotation mechanism 4 is operated to rotate the basket 2. The eggshell 1 stored in the basket 2 is subjected to centrifugal force to dehydrate water. It is difficult to reduce the water content of the eggshell 1 to 10% or less by centrifugal dehydration. When the dehydration step is completed, the fan 5 is operated to blow air to the eggshell 1 in the basket 2.
[0008]
The eggshell 1 is dried by blowing air from the fan 5. By the drying step, the moisture contained in the eggshell 1 becomes 10% or less. Since the air is blown from the fan 5 at room temperature, the energy input can be reduced as compared with the hot air drying method.
[0009]
There is a possibility that various bacteria will adhere to the eggshell 1 in the storage process after being carried out of the factory. Therefore, when the drying step is completed, the ultraviolet lamp 6 is turned on to irradiate ultraviolet rays to sterilize various germs attached to the eggshell 1.
[0010]
Next, the basket 2 is taken out of the centrifuge 3 and the eggshell 1 is put into the crusher 7. The crusher 7 crushes the eggshell 1 to about 0.1 mm or less, which is a suitable particle size as feed. The eggshell 1 is crushed by the crusher 7 and collected in the receiver 8. The eggshell 1 collected in the receiver 8 is mainly composed of useful calcium, and is finally packed in a bag and used as feed.
[0011]
In this way, the eggshell is used as a feed. Since the eggshell is dehydrated by centrifugation and dried by ventilation, the eggshell contains about 30% of water, and the thin film on the inner surface of the eggshell contains 5% of white meat. Even if it remains to a certain extent, the water content can be reduced to 10% or less, and the eggshell can be used for feeding.
[0012]
In the above embodiment, the dewatering step, the drying step, and the sterilization step are performed by the centrifugal separator, so that the processing can be performed efficiently.
[0013]
【The invention's effect】
In the present invention, since the eggshell is dehydrated by centrifugation and dried by ventilation, the eggshell contains about 30% of water, and even if about 5% of white remains in the thin film on the inner surface of the eggshell, the moisture is reduced to 10%. Egg shell can be used for feeding and effective use.
