本発明は、有用微生物群を含む発酵資材の製造装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、光合成細菌や乳酸菌や酵母菌などの有用な微生物を組み合わせた有用微生物群であるEM(Effective Microorganisms)はよく知られており、近年では、このEMの有機物分解作用(発酵作用)を利用して、土壌改良や悪臭の分解や河川の浄化等、また一般家庭などでは、生ゴミの消臭や堆肥化を行う機会が増えてきている。そして、このように様々な用途に利用可能なEMに対して需要が高まってきている。

このEMは、培養によって増殖させて所定の活性を引き出した培養液を、米ぬかや油かすや魚かすなどの媒体と混ぜて発酵資材を生成し、この発酵資材の形態で利用されることが多い。なお、媒体としては、その他に稲わら、籾殻、おから、ビールかす、粉炭、ゼオライト、かに殻など種々利用することができ、雑菌の繁殖していない新鮮な有機物であれば特に限定されることはない。

かかる有用微生物群であるEMを含む発酵資材は、一般にEMぼかしと呼ばれており、上記の各媒体は安価に入手可能なことから、一般家庭などでも適宜製造されて使用されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、一般家庭でEMぼかしを製造する場合、培養液と媒体との混合比、また混合するときの攪拌時間、さらには攪拌状態が一定せず、作る度に品質にばらつきが生じることが多い。

また、均一で高品質なEMぼかしをある程度まとまった量で製造することはできず、結局は市販品を購入することも多かった。

そこで、業務用として大量生産するまではないが、ある程度まとまった量を製造可能な装置が望まれているものの、現状ではそのような製造装置は存在していない。

本発明は、上記課題を解決するための有用微生物群を含む発酵資材の製造装置を提供することを目的としている。

そこで、請求項1記載の本発明では、有用微生物群の培養液と、米ぬか及び/又は油かす及び/又は魚かすなどからなる媒体とが混合された発酵資材を得るための有用微生物群を含む発酵資材の製造装置であって、前記媒体の供給口と前記培養液の供給口とを兼用する上面開口部と、培養液を混合した媒体を排出可能な側部排出口とを形成したドラム部と、同ドラム部内に配設され、正回転時に前記培養液と媒体とを混合し、逆回転時に培養液を混合した媒体を前記側部排出口に向けて搬送可能とした攪拌翼を備える攪拌部と、同攪拌部を正逆回転駆動可能とした駆動部とを備え、前記攪拌部は、ドラム部の略中心を通るように長手方向に沿って軸架した回転軸に複数の攪拌翼を取付け、しかも、前記攪拌翼は、前記回転軸に対して平行な攪拌機能面と、前記回転軸に対して所定角度傾斜した排出機能面とを有する略三角柱形状とした。

本発明は、有用微生物群の培養液と、米ぬか及び/又は油かす及び/又は魚かすなどからなる媒体とが混合された発酵資材を得るための有用微生物群を含む発酵資材の製造装置であって、前記媒体の供給口と前記培養液の供給口とを兼用する上面開口部と、培養液を混合した媒体を排出可能な側部排出口とを形成したドラム部と、同ドラム部内に配設され、正回転時に前記培養液と媒体とを混合し、逆回転時に培養液を混合した媒体を前記側部排出口に向けて搬送可能とした攪拌翼を備える攪拌部と、同攪拌部を正逆回転駆動可能とした駆動部とを備え、前記攪拌部は、ドラム部の略中心を通るように長手方向に沿って軸架した回転軸に複数の攪拌翼を取付け、しかも、前記攪拌翼は、前記回転軸に対して平行な攪拌機能面と、前記回転軸に対して所定角度傾斜した排出機能面とを有する略三角柱形状としたものである。

駆動部の操作は、操作スイッチにより行えるようにしておくことができ、例えばドラム部近傍に、回転軸の正転スイッチ、逆転スイッチ、停止スイッチなどを備える操作部を設けておくとよい。

かかる構成により、有用微生物群を含む発酵資材(以下「EMぼかし」とする)を、必要十分な量だけ、品質良く、かつ簡単に誰でも製造することが可能となる。

実際にEMぼかしを製造するに際しては、先ず、ドラム部内に、必要量の米ぬかなどの媒体を培地として収容する。

次いで、正転スイッチを操作して、駆動部を介して攪拌部を正回転させながら、媒体の量に応じたEM培養液を上面開口部から噴霧して供給する。EM培養液はEMと糖蜜とを混合したものを100倍に希釈したものを用い、EM培養液の噴霧は、専用あるいは汎用のスプレー装置を別途用意しておけばよい。

そして、所定時間攪拌翼を正転させて、十分に攪拌混合した後、逆転スイッチを操作して攪拌翼を逆転させ、培養液と媒体とが十分に混合されたEM発酵資材を側部排出口から排出してこれを別途容器などに受けるのである。このとき、側部排出口には前記逆転スイッチと電気的に連動したゲートを設けておき、ゲートが閉状態の場合は、逆転スイッチがオンしないようにしておくことが望ましい。したがって、EM発酵資材の排出時には、予めゲートを開いてから逆転スイッチをオンにする。

攪拌翼は、前述したように、前記回転軸に対して平行な攪拌機能面と、前記回転軸に対して所定角度傾斜した排出機能面とを有する略三角柱形状としており、しかも、隣接する攪拌翼同士を回転軸周りに120°の位相をもって取付けている。したがって、正転時には、攪拌機能面によって培養液と媒体とを効率良く攪拌混合することができ、逆転時には、傾斜した排出機能面によって培養液が混合された媒体を効率良く排出することが可能となっている。
