Abstract
【解決手段】本発明で提供する仮想記憶システムは、仮想記憶空間と、物理記憶空間と、仮想記憶空間の複数のアドレスを物理記憶空間の各アドレスに関連付けるように構成されたマッピングシステムと、順序に従ってマッピングシステムの除去部分を指定する優先順位付け規定に従って、マッピングシステムの一部を自動的に除去するように構成されたコントローラと、を備える。

Claims (10)
- 仮想記憶システムであって、
仮想記憶空間と、
物理記憶空間と、
前記仮想記憶空間の複数のアドレスを前記物理記憶空間の各アドレスに関連付けるように構成されたマッピングシステムと、
順序に従って前記マッピングシステムの除去部分を指定する優先順位付け規定に従って、前記マッピングシステムの一部を自動的に除去するように構成されたコントローラと、
を有する仮想記憶システム。 - 前記コントローラは、前記物理記憶空間が所定のデータ記憶状態に達したことに応答して、前記自動除去を実行するように構成された、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラが、非保証型仮想記憶空間に対応する複数のポインタを含む前記マッピングシステムの部分を自動的に除去するように構成された、請求項1または2記載のシステム。
- 前記優先順位付け規定が、共通の除去優先度が割り当てられた、少なくとも1つの仮想記憶ボリュームを個々に有する複数のグループを含む、請求項1、2または3記載のシステム。
- 前記優先順位付け規定が、作成の時系列順序に従って前記マッピングシステムの複数の除去部分を指定するように構成されたデフォルト優先度規定を含む、請求項1、2、3または4記載のシステム。
- 仮想記憶方法であって、
複数の仮想記憶ボリュームを含む仮想記憶空間を設けるステップと、
物理記憶空間を設けるステップと、
少なくともいくつかの前記仮想記憶ボリュームの中の複数のスナップショットボリュームを作成するステップと、
前記スナップショットボリュームに優先度をそれぞれ割り当てるステップと、
前記優先度に従って前記スナップショットボリュームの少なくとも1つを除去するステップと、
を有する方法。 - 前記物理記憶空間が所定の状態になったことを検出するステップをさらに有し、前記除去するステップが前記検出するステップに応答して除去するステップを有する、請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記作成するステップが、保証型および非保証型スナップショットボリュームを作成するステップを有し、前記除去するステップが前記非保証型スナップショットボリュームの少なくとも1つを除去するステップを有する、請求項6または7記載の方法。
- 前記作成するステップが、前記スナップショットボリュームの少なくとも1つに個々に対応する複数のグループを作成するステップを有し、前記割り当てるステップが、前記グループに前記優先度を割り当てるステップを有する、請求項6、7または8記載の方法。
- 前記除去するステップが、警告を発することなく除去するステップを有する、請求項6、7、8または9記載の方法。
