Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a structure of a vehicle headrest that can be tilted in the front-rear direction.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a vehicle seat device, there is a demand in use that the seat back is tilted rearward to flatten it. In this case, the headrest provided on the upper end side of the seat back is in the use posture (that is, the seat back of the seat back). When the seatback is tilted backward, the headrest interferes with the seat cushion of the rear seat or the interior surface of the vehicle, and the flattening of the headrest is hindered. Will be.
[0003]
For this reason, when designing a vehicle headrest, the headrest attached to the upper end side of the seat back is made to be tiltable in the front and rear directions with respect to the seat back, and the headrest is normally placed on the rear side of the seat back during normal use of the seat. While the seat back is tilted to support the head of the seated occupant, the seat back is tilted backward to flatten it. The amount of protrusion from the upper end is reduced so as to avoid interference with other sheets and the like.
[0004]
By the way, various structures have been conventionally proposed as specific means for realizing such a tilting function of the headrest. Among them, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Publication No. There is one disclosed in JP-A-10868.
[0005]
That is, the conventional structure disclosed in the above-mentioned publication uses a steel pipe for a headrest frame buried in a pad that is foam-molded in the skin, using a steel pipe, continuously bending this into a substantially rectangular shape, and at the lower side of the headrest. A part of the corresponding side is cut away to form a discontinuous surrounding shape, and bumps are provided on both sides of the discontinuous side, that is, on a pair of left and right frame bottoms.
[0006]
On the other hand, a pair of left and right stays for instructing the headrest to the seatback side via the headrest frame is configured by bending a steel pipe into a substantially U-shape and making both left and right ends thereof stay. A front-fall stopper and a rear-fall stopper are respectively provided at the corners of the respective stays and the stick-tops for connecting and integrating them, and a short frame retaining shaft is welded and fixed to the stick-tops. .
[0007]
Then, by inserting the frame retaining shaft into the pair of left and right frame bottoms of the headrest frame, the headrest frame and each of the stays are relatively rotatable around the frame retaining shaft as a rotation center axis. Thus, the headrest frame can be tilted in the front-rear direction with respect to the stays.
[0008]
In this configuration, the front-fall stoppers of the stay come into contact with the frame side of the headrest frame to restrict front-fall of the headrest, and the rear-fall stoppers of the stay come into contact with bumps of the headrest frame. In each of the headrests, the fall of the headrest is regulated.
[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the headrest having the above-mentioned known structure, the headrest frame and the stay restrain the frontrest from falling forward and backward from being engaged with the stay, but the headrest is operated by giving an appropriate resistance to the operation of the headrest. Since there is no means for giving the user a click feeling, there is a problem in operability or certainty of the operation.
[0010]
Therefore, in order to solve such a problem, it is necessary to provide a resistance applying member such as a leaf spring or a wave washer between the headrest frame and each of the stays. This leads to an increase in cost due to the increase in the number of components or the number of parts, and cannot be said to be an optimal solution.
[0011]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a headrest for a vehicle which has a simple and inexpensive structure and provides appropriate operation resistance and click feeling to improve operability.
[0012]
