Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a termite-control sheet effective for termite control on buildings and a preferred method of using the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a preventive measure against termite damage in buildings, a chemical agent having insecticidal, insect repellent or repellent action against termites is sprayed under the floor of the building, or a similar chemical agent is impregnated in a sheet material such as a nonwoven fabric, and the sheet material is Conventionally, a method of sticking to the lower surface of a floor panel has been adopted (see Patent Document 1).
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
JP 2000-510140 A
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, various problems have been pointed out by the method of spraying a chemical agent, such as soil contamination due to accumulation of the agent, health damage to residents due to the volatilized agent, and health damage to workers due to scattering during application. On the other hand, in the method in which the sheet material impregnated with the chemical is stuck to the floor panel, termites crawling up the basic concrete from the soil under the floor may evade the wooden part of the pillar or the like avoiding the floor. In addition, it is well known that termites generally prefer to eat wet wood, but in addition to wood, cloth, paper, concrete, soil, rubber, and certain types of plastic materials are also harmful or stinking. Has been known to be an extremely omnivorous pest. For this reason, since the basic concrete may be damaged by termites, it is difficult to say that the conventional method is a measure capable of effectively preventing termite damage.
[0005]
Accordingly, the present invention provides a termite-control sheet that can effectively prevent termites from climbing into a building without using a chemical agent, and a method of using the same.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
That is, the termite control sheet of the present invention is characterized by comprising a sheet material having moisture permeability and hiba oil containing hinokitiol impregnated in the sheet material.
[0007]
Here, Hiba oil is contained in an extract of wood represented by Aomori Hiba and Taiwan cypress, contains compounds such as hinokitiol, and has a high repellent action against pests such as termites and mites, and various fungi such as molds. It has been known that it is a useful natural substance that exerts a high effect on, for example, the suppression of the reproduction of pineapple. Therefore, if the termite sheet is made of a sheet material impregnated with Hiba oil, it contains Hiba oil, which is a natural component. It can dispel concerns such as damage. In addition, since the hiba oil is in a state of being impregnated in the sheet material, the operation of directly spraying the soil on the soil is not required, and the adverse effects due to the scattering of the chemicals such as liquids and powders can be eliminated. In addition, in addition to hinokitiol (β-tsuyaprisin), hiba oil also contains components such as β-drabulin which have a repellent effect on termites, and the synergistic effect of these natural components enhances the termite repellent effect. As the hiba oil, an undiluted solution of an extract of Aomori hiba or the like may be used, or a diluent of the undiluted solution may be used.
[0008]
In such a termite sheet, suitable sheet materials include paper and nonwoven fabric.
[0009]
In order to exhibit an effective termite repellent effect, it is preferable that hiba oil contains 10 to 50% of a hinokitiol component. Note that the content ratio of the hinokitiol component can be appropriately changed depending on the cost and the like as long as the termite repellent effect is within an effective range. When 3 to 10 g of hiba oil is impregnated per 1 kg of sheet material, the termite repellent effect can be sufficiently exhibited.
[0010]
As a useful use method of the termite sheet as described above, it is desirable to lay it on the ground around a foundation concrete part in a building for use. By doing so, the termites can avoid the termite-proof sheet, so that the termites can be suitably prevented from climbing from the soil to the base concrete. In particular, according to the method recommended by the Japan Wood Preservation Association, a method of spraying a termiticide with a width of 20 cm from the foundation concrete, if an ant-control sheet is laid around the foundation concrete at the width dimension, Termite damage can be suitably prevented.
[0011]
In addition, termites can be prevented from climbing on the wood on the base concrete by attaching or winding the termite sheet on the surface of the wood part having a height of about 1 m from the base concrete part in the building. Therefore, it is possible to prevent termites from damaging wood, which is a structural material of a building. In addition, this termite sheet can also be used between building walls, flooring or ceiling materials and surface materials applied to those surfaces to reduce termite damage at each application site. Can be prevented.

For example, a nonwoven fabric or the like can be used as the sheet material as a material having moisture permeability other than paper. In addition, the specific configuration of each part and the specific method of use are not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
[0019]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the termite control sheet of the present invention, since the air-permeable sheet material is impregnated with a natural hinokitiol-containing hiba oil instead of a chemical agent, the resident of the building used is In addition to preventing health damage to construction and construction workers, soil pollution can also be prevented. In particular, laying the termite sheet around the foundation concrete, wrapping it around wood, or sandwiching it between the wall and the like and its surface material, including hinokitiol in hiba oil volatilized from the termite sheet The termite repellent action of the active ingredient can effectively prevent termite damage to buildings.
