Abstract
Description
【0001】

【0022】
Bluetooth(R)は近距離無線通信の規格である。

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an electronic device capable of transmitting content data to an output device by a wireless signal, and a content data output destination switching method applied to the electronic device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, Bluetooth (R) has attracted attention as a wireless communication technology. Bluetooth (R) is a low-cost, low-power consumption, short-range wireless communication technology suitable for mobile devices. As an application, it is used to interconnect various mobile information devices owned by each user. Since the devices are wirelessly connected, various devices can be freely, easily, and easily connected to each other as compared with a conventional wired connection.
[0003]
As one of systems using wireless communication, a system for transmitting music or the like by wireless signals from an electronic device such as a portable music player to an external device such as headphones is known (for example, see Patent Document 1). .).
[0004]
There is also known a voice call headset that performs wireless communication with a base unit having a telephone function (for example, see Patent Document 2). This headset for voice communication includes a mounting detection unit that detects that the user has worn the headset for voice communication, and is capable of notifying the base unit of a detection signal from the mounting detection unit. The telephone line of the base unit is turned on / off depending on whether or not the user wears the voice call headset.

[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the system of Patent Document 2 does not consider that the user may remove the headset for some other purpose other than the purpose of ending the voice call.
[0008]
In a wireless communication system in which music transmitted by a wireless signal from an electronic device such as a music player is reproduced by a wireless headphone, when a user is listening to music with the wireless headphone, the user is less susceptible to external sounds. For this reason, the user may temporarily remove the wireless headphones for the purpose of, for example, answering the intercom or answering the incoming call, not for the purpose of stopping the music reproduction. While wireless headphones are not worn, the user cannot listen to music.
[0009]
Therefore, it is desired to realize a mechanism that allows the user to continuously listen to content data such as music even after the wireless headphones are removed.
[0010]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and can automatically switch the output destination of content data such as music between an output device capable of wireless communication such as wireless headphones and another output device. It is an object of the present invention to provide a possible electronic device and a method for switching the output destination of content data.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problem, the present invention provides an electronic device wirelessly connectable to a first output device that can be worn by a user. Means for transmitting to the output device by a wireless signal, and that the first output device is removed from the user during the transmission of the content data by a wireless signal from the first output device to the electronic device. Means for switching the output destination of the content data from the first output device to the second output device.
[0012]
According to this electronic device, when the first output device is removed from the user during the period of transmitting the content data to the first output device, the output destination of the content data is automatically set to the first output device. Is switched to the second output device. Therefore, the user can continuously listen to the content data such as music without removing the first output device without performing any switching operation.
