Abstract
Description
【0001】

[Table 3]
[0062]
As a result, it was confirmed that when the diameter of the fiber stub was larger than the diameter of the plug ferrule by 0.5 to 10 μm, the reproducibility was 0.1 dB or less and the connection loss was further reduced.
[0063]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the optical receptacle of the present invention, since the outer diameter of the fiber stub is larger than the outer diameter of the plug ferrule by 0.5 to 10 μm, the holding force of the fiber stub by the sleeve increases, Even if the sleeve insertion length of the plug ferrule is shorter than the sleeve insertion length of the plug ferrule, it realizes stable and high-precision connection, uses a small optical receptacle with low connection loss, high repeatability, and a small optical receptacle. Optical module can be realized.
[0064]
Further, it is technically easy to make the outer diameter of the stub ferrule larger than the outer diameter of the plug ferrule by 0.5 to 10 μm, and a small-sized optical receptacle can be realized at low cost.
[0065]
Further, the optical receptacle of the present invention has an outer diameter at the rear end holding the fiber stub of the sleeve larger than other portions, or an inner diameter at the rear end holding the fiber stub of the sleeve smaller than other portions. Therefore, even if the sleeve insertion length of the fiber stub is shorter than the plug insertion length of the plug ferrule, stable and high-precision connection is realized, low connection loss, high repeatability, small optical receptacle and An optical module can be realized.
