Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a clip-type relay connector for electrically connecting a terminal disposed at an end of a flexible printed circuit board, a flexible flat cable or the like (hereinafter referred to as an inspection side board) to an inspection tester or the like. It is.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A conventional example of a clip-type relay connector is disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-77122. In such clip-type relay connectors, the end portion of the inspection-side board such as a flexible board is inserted and clamped to a predetermined position of the insertion portion of the clip-type relay connector, so that the spring connector is appropriately elasticated to the terminal of the inspection-side board. Touched. These spring connectors are appropriately electrically connected to an inspection device such as a tester via a relay board incorporated in the clip-type relay connector, and of course, electronic components are appropriately inspected.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The conventional clip-type relay connector described above is suitable for efficiently inspecting a large number of terminals arranged on the inspection-side board to a tester or the like with a simple operation.
[0004]
However, in order to keep the insertion portion for inserting the inspection side substrate in an open state by the elasticity of the elastic member for holding the inspection side substrate, it is necessary for the operator to hold the clip-type relay connector by hand. is there. Therefore, when inspecting a large electronic component such as a liquid crystal panel, both hands of an operator are required to support the large electronic component, and an inspection-side substrate attached to the electronic component is inserted into the insertion portion. Requires another operator to open the insertion portion of the clip-type relay connector. In addition, when the clip-type relay connector is pressed by hand and the insertion portion is opened, the opening of the insertion portion is not always perfect depending on how the insertion portion is pressed by hand. Therefore, there is a possibility that the inspection-side board is damaged and the spring connector of the clip-type relay connector is damaged by inserting and pulling out the inspection-side board with the insertion portion being in an incomplete opening state. Furthermore, when the inspection of the electronic parts is finished, the insertion part of the clip-type relay connector is opened, the inspection side board is pulled out, and when the hand is released from the clip-type relay connector, the insertion part is closed by elasticity, In order to insert the inspection side substrate of the electronic component to be inspected into the insertion portion, the insertion portion must be opened again, and the work is complicated accordingly.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of the circumstances of the conventional clip-type relay connector as described above, and provides a clip-type relay connector that can reliably maintain the open state of the insertion portion and can easily release the open state. For the purpose.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve such an object, the insulating first and second bases of the present invention are swingably disposed by a support shaft and an elastic member is disposed to dispose the first base on one side of the support shaft. The end portion of the inspection-side substrate can be elastically held between the insertion portions of the first and second bases, and the relay substrate is arranged on one of the first and second bases. A spring connector is disposed so as to elastically contact a terminal provided at an end of the inspection-side substrate in a state where the inspection-side substrate is sandwiched between the relay substrate and the first or second base. One of the bases is provided with a pair of arms longer in the swinging direction than the other base on both sides of the other base, and the arm is moved from the other base on the other side of the support shaft. A cam support shaft is provided in parallel with the support shaft away from the moving direction, and a cam lever is disposed on the cam support shaft so as to be swingable. The inspection-side substrate is clamped between the first and second bases by the elastic force of the elastic member in the first swinging posture of the cam lever, and the other base is held in the second swinging posture of the cam lever. The cam lever is formed so that the insertion portions of the first and second bases are in an open state against the elastic force of the elastic member and the cam lever is in a stable posture.
[0007]
A portion of the cam lever that contacts the other base of the second swing posture may be formed on a plane parallel to the cam support shaft.
[0008]
Furthermore, each part which opposes or contact | abuts to the said other base of the said cam lever by the said 1st and 2nd rocking | fluctuation attitude | position is each formed in the several plane parallel to the said cam spindle, and is comprised. Is also possible.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, since the clip-type relay connector of the present invention is configured, the following special effects can be obtained.
[0019]
In the clip-type relay connector according to the first aspect, by setting the cam lever to the second swinging posture, the insertion portion can be kept in an open state, and the inspection substrate can be easily inserted and pulled out. In addition, since the insertion portion is reliably opened, there is no possibility of being damaged by inserting or pulling out the inspection substrate in an insufficient opening state.
[0020]
