Abstract
Description
【0001】

0.5<Ra/Rb<1.0 (2)

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a projection zoom lens suitable for a projector for enlarging and projecting an image displayed on a film, a slide, or a liquid crystal display on a screen, and a projector including the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art In a projector for enlarging and projecting an image displayed on a film, a slide, a liquid crystal display, or the like on a screen, a telecentric zoom lens is often used as an optical system for projection.
[0003]
Many standard conventional telecentric zoom lenses have a half angle of view of about 25 degrees at the wide-angle end.
[0004]
In a telecentric type zoom lens having a half angle of view of about 30 degrees, a relatively large lens in the first group or the last group is an aspherical lens, and various aberrations generated by widening the angle, particularly distortion, are reduced. ing.
[0005]
The projection zoom lens is configured to have a zoom ratio of, for example, about 1.4, and a two-group type, a three-group type, a four-group type, or a five-group type is mainly used.
[0006]
In these projection zoom lenses, the first lens group is a lens group having a strong power and takes in a wide-angle light beam, so that distortion is particularly likely to occur.
[0007]
Therefore, in order to reduce distortion, an aspherical lens is used in a wide-angle telecentric zoom lens. In this case, conventionally, an aspheric lens is used for the lens near the front lens, which is the lens closest to the screen, and the lens near the rear lens, which is the lens closest to the image plane, to reduce distortion. I was trying to reduce it.
[0008]

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, even when a conventional projection zoom lens employs an aspherical lens, it is necessary to increase the number of lenses in order to obtain desired aberrations such as distortion and coma. Was about 2.0 to 2.2, and the brightness was insufficient.
[0010]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to solve the problems of the above-described conventional technology and to provide an extremely bright projection zoom lens which is composed of a limited number of lenses and in which various aberrations are favorably reduced. It is to provide a high quality projector.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a projection zoom lens according to the present invention includes a first lens group having a negative refractive power and a second lens having a positive refractive power, which are arranged in order from a screen side to an object point side. A zoom lens for projection including a lens unit, a third lens unit having a positive refractive power, a fourth lens unit having a negative refractive power, and a fifth lens unit having a positive refractive power, from the wide-angle end to the telephoto end. When performing zooming toward, the first lens group and the fifth lens group are fixed, and the second lens group, the third lens group, and the fourth lens group are positioned on the optical axis. Both are moved toward the screen side, and the first lens group includes, in order from the screen side, a negative first group-first meniscus lens having a convex surface facing the screen side, and a negative first group having both surfaces concave. A second meniscus lens, wherein the second lens group has a convex surface The second lens group-first lens directed to the screen side, the third lens group includes a third lens group-first lens having a convex surface directed to the screen side, and the fourth lens group includes: In order from the screen side, a fourth group-first lens whose concave surface faces the object point, a negative fourth group-second lens whose both surfaces are concave, and both surfaces are convex and the surface on the object point is aspheric. The fourth lens unit comprises a cemented lens obtained by cementing a positive fourth lens and a fourth lens, and a fourth lens unit to a fourth lens unit having a convex surface facing the object point side. And the fifth lens unit and the first lens unit.
[0012]
In the fourth lens group, when the focal length of the cemented lens is fa and the focal length of the fourth group-fourth lens is fb, the fa and the fb are -1.2 <fa. /Fb<-0.6.
[0013]
In the fourth lens group, when the radius of curvature of the surface of the fourth group-the second lens on the screen side is Ra, and the radius of curvature of the fourth group-the fourth lens on the object point side is Rb. , Ra / Rb satisfy 0.5 <Ra / Rb <1.0.
[0014]
Also, the F-number is 1.7 to 1.9.
[0015]
Further, it is characterized by comprising nine lenses.
[0016]
According to another aspect of the invention, there is provided a projector including: an image forming unit configured to form an image; and the projection zoom lens according to any one of the above, configured to project the image formed by the image forming unit. .
[0017]
