【0027】
RL=La・Xc/Xa (%)
【0028】

【0083】
RLa=La・(Xc−Xb)/(Xa−Xb) (%)
RLb=La・(Xc′−Xb′)/(Xa′−Xb′) (%)
【0084】
【0085】
RLa=La・Xc/Xa (%)
RLb=La・Xc′/Xa′ (%)
【0086】
【0124】
RLa=La・[Xa(f1)−Xb]/(Xa−Xb) (%)
RLb=La・[Xb(f2)−Xb′]/(Xa′−Xb′) (%)
【0125】
【0126】
RLa=La・Xa(f1)/Xa (%)
RLb=La・Xb(f2)/Xa′ (%)
【0127】

In the optical component measuring apparatus 30 ', the measuring light generating section 60' is configured so that the light beams P (f1) and P (f2), each of which is intensity-modulated by the modulation signals of different frequencies f1 and f2, are always emitted in parallel. Have been.

[0092]
The frequencies of the signals S (f1) and S (f2) for modulating the light are arbitrary, but the phase difference due to the optical path difference in the measuring device can be neglected, and the filters 81 and 82 can be configured simply. It is a low frequency band of 100 Hz to several tens of kHz.
[0093]

Upon receiving the calibration instruction, the control unit 70 'sets both the

The amplitude is detected by the detector 83B, converted to a digital value by the A / D converter 52B, and input to the control unit 70 '.

Since the period of the signal modulating the reflected light and the leaked light incident on the photodetector 44A is sufficiently longer than the time for which the light travels back and forth between the optical coupler 42A and the
[0106]
Therefore, the light receiver 44A outputs a signal component having the amplitude of the sum of the amplitude of the modulated component of the reflected light and the amplitude of the modulated component of the leaked light and having a frequency of f1.
[0107]
Then, this signal is amplified and input to the filters 81A and 82A. However, since this signal contains only the modulation component of the frequency f1, no signal is output from the filter 82A, and the frequency f1 is output from the filter 81A. Is output, the amplitude of the signal is detected by the detector 83A, and is converted into a digital value by the A / D converter 51A.

On the other hand, the light P (f2) emitted from the measurement light generator 60 'enters the

Then, similarly to the above, a signal having an amplitude equal to the sum of the amplitudes of the modulated component of the reflected light and the modulated component of the leaked light and having a frequency of f2 is output from the light receiver 44B that has received the reflected light and the leaked light, The signal is output from the filter 82B to the detector 84B, the amplitude of which is detected, and converted to a digital value by the A / D converter 52B.
[0110]
In this state, the control unit 70 'associates the value Xa output from the A / D converter 51A and the value Xa' output from the A / D converter 52B with the input reflectance La. To remember.

Further, based on the output value Xa (f1) of the A / D converter 51A, the output value Xb (f2) of the A / D converter 52B, and the above-described values Xa, Xa ', Xb, Xb', the following calculation is performed. Is performed, the bidirectional reflectance of the

In addition, since the reflectance of each port and the insertion loss of two ports can be measured simultaneously, the measurement efficiency is extremely high.
[0148]
In addition to using a filter that can variably control the center frequency of the passband in spite of being a four-port type, the output signal of the filter is converted into a digital signal before the amplitude value is obtained, so the hardware configuration is simple. It can be easily configured even in the case of more ports.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the optical component measuring device of the present invention is an optical splitter that emits light incident on the first port from the second port and emits light incident on the second port from the third port, A plurality of optical interfaces having an optical terminal connected to the second port of the optical splitter and a photodetector connected to the third port of the optical splitter and converting light emitted from the third port into an electric signal; And a measurement light generating unit for inputting measurement light to the first port of each optical coupler of the plurality of optical interfaces.
[0152]
For this reason, it is necessary to efficiently and highly reliably perform bidirectional measurement such as insertion loss and reflectance of an optical component without changing a connection state between each port of the optical component and each optical terminal of each optical interface. Can be.
[0153]
In addition, when a polarization controller is provided between the optical branching device and the optical terminal of each optical interface, bidirectional measurement of the polarization-dependent loss of the optical component in addition to the insertion loss and the reflectance can be performed. This can be performed efficiently and with high reliability without changing the connection state between each port and each optical terminal of each optical interface.
[0154]
Further, the measurement light generation unit is configured to make light modulated with signals of different frequencies incident on each optical interface, and an amplitude detection unit for detecting the amplitude of the signal of each frequency from an output signal of each optical interface. In the case where the means is provided, the two-way measurement of the insertion loss and the reflectance can be performed in parallel, which is more efficient.
