【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、遊技台と遊技媒体を貸出す遊技媒体貸出機とが配設された遊技島に設置され、遊技媒体を貸出すために投入された紙幣を搬送する紙幣搬送装置に関し、さらに詳しくは各遊技台の上方の前面側（例えば、幕板付近）に取付けることが可能な、紙幣搬送装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
通常、遊技店における遊技島１は、横方向に直線状に配置された複数台の遊技台２、２、・・・と、互いに隣接する各遊技台２の間に配設された遊技媒体貸出機３、３、・・・と、各遊技台２、２、・・・の上方に設けられた遊技島設備品５、５、・・・と、さらにその上方に設けられたストック箱等を置いておく玉箱収納部６、６、・・・とを図示しない柱部材と、水平部材による支持枠にて構築されている（図１３）。
尚、図示する遊技台がスロットマシンの場合は、遊技媒体貸出機から貸出される遊技媒体はメダルであり、遊技台がパチンコ台の場合は、遊技媒体貸出機から貸出される遊技媒体はパチンコ玉である。

上記した遊技島１は、柱部材と水平部材により構築された支持枠体内に、上述した各遊技台２、２、・・・及び遊技媒体貸出機３、３、・・・を組み込むと共に、各遊技台２、２、・・・の上方に上記遊技島設備品５、５（例えば、呼び出しランプ）、・・・及びストック箱等を置いておく玉箱収納部６、６、・・・を配置することにより、営業している。尚、遊技台２、２、・・・の上方に玉箱収納部６があり、その上方に遊技島設備品５を配置する遊技島の場合もある。

遊技島１に配設された遊技媒体貸出機３は、投入した紙幣を紙幣識別した後、内部の収納装置付紙幣識別装置（不図示）に収納するように構成されており、遊技媒体貸出機３に投入された紙幣で満杯になった時は、店員が遊技媒体貸出機３の前面扉を開いて収納装置付紙幣識別装置に収納され、満杯になった紙幣を手作業にて巡回して回収する必要があった。

これに対して、紙幣の手作業による回収を排除するために昨今は、遊技島の内部の背面側や遊技島の上部付近に、紙幣搬送装置を備えた遊技島が開示されてきている。

遊技島の内部の背面側に備えた紙幣搬送装置としては、遊技場におけるコイン貸出機の構造（例えば、特許文献１参照）や遊技島の上部付近に備えた紙幣搬送装置としては、遊技機列における紙幣搬送方式（例えば、特許文献２参照）にて開示されている。

先行技術１においては、遊技媒体の貸出のために投入された紙幣が、各遊技媒体貸出機３、３、・・・の上部に設けられた紙幣投入口３ａから紙幣識別装置３ｂを介して紙幣を起立姿勢で搬送する紙幣搬送装置４により、遊技島の端部に設けた島管理装置に搬送し、装置内の紙幣収納装置にて、整列・収納されるように成っている。

このような構成の遊技島によれば、各遊技台２、２、・・・に、遊技媒体貸出機３、３、・・・が設けられていることにより、遊技者は、遊技台２に隣接した遊技媒体貸出機３の紙幣投入口３ａから紙幣を投入することにより、貸出機３本体内の払出し機から所定枚数の遊技媒体を払出口に貸出して遊技することが出来る。
よって、店員は従来のように各遊技媒体貸出機３、３、・・・収納装置付紙幣識別装置に収納され、満杯となっている紙幣を回収する手作業がなくなる。

先行技術２においては、投入された紙幣をベタ姿勢で搬送する紙幣搬送装置７が遊技島の各遊技台２の上部付近に取付けられ、前述した呼び出しランプ５及びストック箱等を置いておく玉箱収納部６の上方で、前方に張り出すように配設されており、下方に向かって開口した紙幣投入口７ａから紙幣識別装置７ｂを介して搬送される紙幣を、遊技島の端部に設けられた島管理装置に搬送し、内方側の紙幣収納装置にて、ベタ姿勢の紙幣を整列・収納されるように成っている。

上述した先行技術１の紙幣搬送装置４又は先行技術２の紙幣搬送装置７は、何れの紙幣搬送装置４又は７においても、紙幣搬送装置を備えていない遊技島（既存の遊技島）に新たに設置しようとすると、遊技島を構成していた各遊技台及び遊技媒体貸出機の上部付近を施工し直す（島改築）する必要がなり、多大のコスト及び時間を要してしまう。

また、上述した先行技術１の紙幣搬送装置４においては、遊技島の両面に遊技台が並んで配置され、遊技台の背面側の遊技島内部に設置されているため、該紙幣搬送装置４の途中で紙幣詰まり等のトラブル、紙幣搬送装置の各部品（例えば、モータ等）が故障した場合、手が届きにくい場所のため作業し難く早急に対処することが出来ず、そのため遊技客に迷惑を掛けてしまっていた。

また、上述した先行技術２の紙幣搬送装置７においては、紙幣投入口が遊技台の真上、の上部に位置することから、紙幣投入口がかなり高い位置になってしまうと共に、紙幣投入姿勢が垂直方向となるため、遊技者が紙幣投入口に紙幣を投入する際、いちいち中腰になって手を伸ばし、紙幣投入口に向けて投入するため投入し難くい。そのため、遊技媒体の貸出の意欲がなくなり、遊技店では売上減と成っていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述した先行技術１の紙幣搬送装置４又は、先行技術２の紙幣搬送装置７の課題を解決すべく、本出願人は、特願２００１−２６４７７５号の技術を提案している。
図１５及び図１６に示すように、横方向に配列された遊技台の上方の前面側に紙幣搬送ユニット８を取付ける場合、現場にて先ず遊技島の全長を測り、その長さに応じて該幕板９に紙幣搬送ユニット８の取付ける位置を決め、当該取付位置に対して複数箇所の取付穴９ａを工具にていちいち穴明け加工した後、紙幣搬送ユニット８の取付金具８ａを取付穴９ａに位置決めして、ネジ止め等により幕板付近に各々取付けていた。
そのため、紙幣搬送ユニット８の位置決め作業に多大な時間を浪費すると共に、作業性が悪く、取付作業が面倒となっていたため、短時間に簡単且つ簡易に取付けができる技術が要請されていた。

本発明は、以上の点に鑑み、位置決めの作業が不要となり、簡易な取付作業によって短時間のうちに取付けることが出来、従来の紙幣搬送装置のない遊技島にも大掛かりな島改築を必要とせず、また紙幣詰まり等の対応が簡単に行えるようにした、紙幣搬送装置を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、横方向に配列された遊技台の上方の前面側に、遊技台配列方向に延びる搬送路に沿って紙幣を搬送する紙幣搬送装置を構成し、前記個々の遊技台に対応して設けられた紙幣搬送ユニットであって、
前記紙幣搬送ユニットは、遊技台のピッチとほぼ同じ横方向長さを有し且つ背面側に取付部材を設けたユニット本体と、該ユニット本体の一端側に開口して設けられた紙幣投入口と、該紙幣投入口の奥部に位置して設けられた紙幣識別装置と、から構成され、
前記ユニット本体の背面側に設けた取付部材を、幕板付近に装着した遊技台複数台分と略同じ長さ、又は遊技島と略同じ長さを有した取付板に前面側から外付け状態で取付ける、構成としたことによって、達成される。

上記した構成によれば、遊技台の上方の前面側に取付けられた紙幣搬送ユニットの紙幣投入口に紙幣を投入すると、この紙幣は紙幣識別装置により真券か否かを識別された後、真券紙幣はユニット本体内の搬送路に進入して搬送されると共に、紙幣識別装置の識別結果に基づいて、遊技媒体貸出機から所定数の遊技媒体が貸出されることに成る。

そして、紙幣搬送ユニットを、各遊技台の上方の前面側の幕板付近に装着する場合、該幕板付近に前もって取付板を装着させておき、この取付板に対して前側からユニット本体の背面側に設けた取付部材を係止させるのみの作業で幕板に取付けることが可能と成る。
従って、位置決めが不要となって、紙幣搬送ユニットを幕板付近へ取付ける作業が極めて簡易となり、取付時間が大幅に短縮されることになる。また、従来の紙幣搬送装置のない遊技島に紙幣搬送装置を設ける場合においても遊技島の大掛かりな改築や施工を行なう必要がなくなり、低コストで且つ短時間で設置することが出来る。
また、事前に遊技島の全長がわかっている場合、遊技島の長さに取付板を切断しておくことが出来、さらに出荷時に取付板に取付ける穴位置を加工したものを出荷することができ、この取付板を幕板に装着するのみで済む。その結果、従前、現場にて行っていた幕板９に紙幣搬送ユニット８の取り付位置の位置決め作業や、切断作業、工具による穴明け加工作業等を現場で行わずに済むように成る。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面に示した実施形態に基づいて、本発明を詳細に説明するが本実施形態に限定されるものでない。図１は、遊技島の上方の前面側に連接して取付けた状態の紙幣搬送装置を示す概略斜視図である。
図１における遊技島１０は、横方向に直線状に配列された複数台の遊技台（図示の場合、例えばスロットマシン）１１、１１、・・・と、互いに隣接する各遊技台１１、１１、・・・の間に配設される薄型形状の遊技媒体貸出機（図示の場合、例えば台間メダル貸出機）１２、１２、・・・と、各遊技台１１、１１、・・・の上方の前面側に設けられる遊技島設備品１３、１３、・・・と、さらにその上方に設けられたストック箱等を置いておく玉箱収納部１３ａと、から構築されている。上記遊技台１１（例えば、スロットマシン）の構成、操作等については一般的なので省略する。

上記遊技島１０の上方の前面側には、各紙幣搬送ユニット２０の紙幣投入口２３に投入された紙幣（例えば、千円紙幣）を搬送するように複数台連接して形成された紙幣搬送装置１４が設けられ、各紙幣搬送ユニット２０の搬送路２２によって、遊技島１０の端部に設けた島管理装置１５内に搬送され、整列・収納されるように成っている。尚、この整列収納する際、回収した紙幣は計数センサ（不図示）にて計数し、売上カウントするように成している。
ここでの島管理装置１５は、回収した紙幣を内方側に整列収納する構造のみとしたが、回収した紙幣（千円紙幣）を高額紙幣の両替紙幣用としてリサイクルする構造を備えたリサイクル両替機としても良い。

上記遊技島１０は、図示しない柱部材と水平部材により構成された支持枠体内に、上述した各遊技台１１、１１、・・・及び遊技媒体貸出機１２、１２、・・・を組み込むと共に、各遊技台１１、１１、・・・の上方に上記遊技島設備品１３、１３、・・・及びストック箱等を置いておく玉箱収納部１３ａを配置することにより、組み立てられる。尚、以下の遊技島設備品１３は呼び出しランプとして説明する。

上記各遊技媒体貸出機１２は、遊技台１１に隣接した位置に長方形形状から形成された遊技媒体貸出機本体部１２ａが備えられ、該遊技媒体貸出機本体部１２ａと上部の紙幣搬送ユニット２０に設けた紙幣投入口２３及び紙幣識別装置２４とは、別体に構成されている。

上記呼び出しランプ１３は、遊技台１１の上方の前面側の幕板付近に配置されるようになっている。尚、呼び出しランプ１３の構成、操作は一般的なので省略する。また、呼び出しランプとしたが、遊技店の要望に応じてストック箱等を置いておく玉箱収納部の構成を幕板付近に配置するようにしても良い。又、出玉等を示す液晶表示装置であっても良い。

上記紙幣搬送装置１４は、各遊技台１１の上方の前面側に取付けられるユニット形態とした紙幣搬送ユニット２０から構成されている（紙幣搬送ユニット２０を複数台連接して形成したものが紙幣搬送装置１４である）。
図２乃至図５に示すように、各紙幣搬送ユニット２０のユニット本体２１は、紙幣識別装置２４を含む識別搬送部２１Ａと、搬送駆動部２１Ｂと、蓋部２１Ｃと、から構成されている。

識別搬送部２１Ａは、紙幣投入口２３から投入された紙幣を識別し、搬送路２２へと送るように成し、搬送駆動部２１Ｂは、後述する蓋部が閉じた際、その内部に納められ、紙幣の搬送を行うように成し、蓋部２１Ｃは、遊技台１１の上方の前面側に開閉可能に取付けられている。上記搬送駆動部２１Ｂと上記識別搬送部２１Ａの少なくとも一方が、上記蓋部２１Ｃが遊技台１１の上方の前面側に取付けられた状態で、着脱可能に構成されている。
搬送駆動部２１Ｂは、樹脂フレームとして前後方向に関して薄型の扁平な長方体状に形成され、横方向に関して遊技台１１のピッチとほぼ同じ長さを有している。そして、上記搬送駆動部２１Ｂは蓋部２１Ｃに設けた二箇所の支持部材２１ｂの先端に装着（係止）され、着脱可能に成っている。

ユニット本体２１（蓋部２１Ｃ）の背面側には、取付部材としての支持金具２１ｂが立設されている。
図１０に示すように、支持金具２１ｂにはネジ穴２１ｄが設けられていて、幕板１６に取付けられた取付板１７に微調整した後にネジ等によって装着することにより、ユニット本体２１が幕板付近に対して簡易な作業にて固定して取付けることができる。尚、ここではネジ等を用いて装着したが、ワンタッチ式（ネジ不要）の嵌合による装着であっても良い。また、支持金具２１ｂはユニット本体２１の背面側でなくても良い。

上記取付板１７は、例えば折曲した形状に形成され、幅は幕板１６のスペース幅と略同じに幅に形成することにより、幕板１６に対して正確に位置決めされ装着することができる。また、取付板１７の長さは、遊技台複数台分（例えば、三台分）の横方向と略同じ長さ、又は、遊技島１１と略同じ長さ（遊技島に配列した遊技台の横方向の長さと略同じ）に形成されている。さらに取付板１７には、取付部材（支持金具２１ｂ）を係止させる取付穴１７ａが適宜、間隔に穿設されている。また、呼び出しランプ１３の配線を通す配線穴１７ｂも適宜、間隔に設けられている。
上記した取付穴１７ａは、取付ける位置を長手方向に調整ができるように複数箇所設けるようにしても良い。

上述した遊技島１１と略同じ長さの取付板１７を幕板１６に装着するにあたっては、遊技島１０の遊技台１１の上方の位置の幕板１６に対して、取付板１７を位置合わせした後、ボルトやタッピングネジ等により取付板１７の一端と他端を装着する。このようにして取付板１７が幕板１６に装着される。尚、遊技台複数台分と略同じ長さにした取付板１７の装着も同様に行われる。

次に、幕板１６に装着した取付板１７に紙幣搬送ユニット２０のユニット本体２１（蓋部２１Ｃ）の背面側に設けた取付部材（支持金具２１ｂ）を前面側から係止させる作業（取付け作業）について説明する。
紙幣搬送ユニット２０を順番に取付けていくにあたっては、一端寄りの取付板１７の取付穴１７ａに合わせてユニット本体２１の支持金具２１ｂを微調整した後、その取付部位に対してボルト，タッピングネジ等を用いて工具により二箇所を螺着する。このようにして幕板１６に装着した取付板１７に紙幣搬送ユニット２０のユニット本体２１を前面側から外付け状態で取付けることができるのである。

上記したユニット本体２１の本体カバー２１ａは、図３、４及び図６、７に示すように、その下端の蝶番２１ｃに対して支持金具２１ｂが揺動可能に支持されており、これにより本体カバー２１ａとの間に構成される内部の搬送路２２を開閉可能に覆うように成っている。その本体カバー２１ａには、上述した呼出しランプ１３が図示しないネジ等により取付けられるように成っている。これにより、上記本体カバー２１ａは、図６に示す閉鎖位置から図７に示す開放位置まで揺動可能になっている。

本体カバー２１ａを揺動可能として開かれることにより、何れかの搬送路２２の途中で紙幣詰まり等のトラブルが生じても素早く対処（メンテナンス）することができる。また、ここでは本体カバー２１ａを開閉可能の構成にて説明したが、他の構造（例えば、嵌合部材等による取り外し可能な構造）としても良く、あるいは本体カバー２１ａと呼出しランプ１３を一体に構成し、あるいは本体カバー２１ａを省略して、呼出しランプ１３を直接に揺動可能に支持するようにしても良い。

本体カバー２１ａを開閉する際には、店員が鍵穴等にて施錠装置を操作することによって、店員のみが開閉することができ、第三者による不正（盗難）な開閉操作ができないように成っている。また、図示しないが本体カバー２１ａにセンサを設けておき、施錠装置以外の不正な開閉操作が行なわれた際には、センサの検知により店員等に報知するようにしても良い。
このように、ユニット本体２１の本体カバー２１ａの一端側に鍵穴等を介して操作する施錠装置が備えられているため、店員以外の遊技客には不正な開閉操作が出来ないように成っており、搬送途中の紙幣を抜き取る不正（盗難）を防止することが出来る。

次に、紙幣搬送ユニット２０のユニット本体２１内に設けた搬送駆動部２１Ｂの構成について説明する。
投入された紙幣は、遊技台配列方向に延びる各紙幣搬送ユニット２０に設けた搬送路２２に沿って搬送するように成している。
この搬送路２２は、ユニット本体２１の背面側に配置された搬送ベルト２２ａと、この搬送ベルト２２ａを両端で支持する駆動ローラ２２ｂ及び従動ローラ２２ｃと、さらに本体カバー２１ａ側に設けられた複数の対向ローラ２２ｄと、から成している。搬送ベルト２２ａは、当該ユニット本体２１の長さと略同じの平状のベルトで、図４及び図５に示すように右端が駆動ローラ２２ｂに、また左端が従動ローラ２２ｃに巻回されている。

上記した搬送路２２においては、上流側（右方）から下流側（左方）に向かって起立した状態で紙幣を搬送するように成っており、右端側にはハの字状に広がっているスライド自在の連結部が設けられ、図３に示すように隣接する上流側（右方）の紙幣搬送ユニット２０の搬送路２２からの紙幣が詰まることなく受け渡すことが出来るように成っている。尚、ここではローラ２２ｂと搬送ベルト２２ａとから成る搬送路２２としたが、例えば、他の一般的に採用している搬送機構としても良い。

上記搬送駆動部２１Ｂは、図５に示すように搬送ベルト２２ａが一端（右側）の駆動ローラ２２ｂと、他端（左側）の従動ローラ２２ｃに巻回され、駆動モータ２５ａから伝動機構２５ｂを介して回動するように成している。
該駆動モータ２５ａを駆動すると、伝動ベルト等から成る伝動機構２５ｂを介して駆動ローラ２２ｄが回転し、この回転に伴って搬送ベルト２２ａが駆動し、搬送路２２の右側（上流側）及び紙幣識別装置２４からの紙幣を左側（下流側）に搬送するように成っている。

これにより、搬送路２２を搬送される紙幣は、図５に示すように対向ローラ２２ｄにより搬送ベルト２２ａに対して、略起立した状態で当接し、搬送ベルト２２ａと対向ローラ２２ｄ間に挟まれて各紙幣搬送ユニット２０の搬送路２２の上流側（右方）から下流側（左方）へと搬送されるように成っている。
尚、店員によって、鍵穴等を介して施錠装置が操作されて前面カバー２１ａが開かれると、対向ローラ２２ｄが搬送路２２から前方に退避することにより、紙幣が搬送ベルト２２ａから離反し、紙幣詰まりした紙幣を取り除くことができる。

上記ユニット本体２１の両端には、隣接するユニット本体２１と搬送路２２の結合を行うためのジョイント（上述の連結部）が設けられ、図中右側には雌ジョイント２６、左側には雄ジョイント２７（図４参照）が設けられている。隣接するユニット本体２１の雌雄のジョイント２６、２６が嵌りあって搬送路２２が連接される。
上述した搬送路２２は、この場合、雌雄のジョイント２６、２６の重なり具合、言い換えれば雌ジョイント２６に雄ジョイントを差し込む深さを調節することによって、ユニット本体２１の配列ピッチを調整することができ、その結果、遊技島１０の長さに容易に対応することができる。

次に、紙幣搬送ユニット２０のユニット本体２１の一端側前方に設けた識別搬送部２１Ａの構成について説明する。
紙幣投入口２３（前面カバー２４ａ）は、紙幣搬送ユニット２０が遊技台１１の上方の前面側に取付けられたとき、遊技媒体貸出機１２の上部に位置し、遊技媒体貸出機１２の紙幣投入口として利用されるようになっており、起立姿勢に投入するように縦型形状に形成され、隣接して施錠装置が設けられている。
上述した紙幣投入口２３の内側には、識別用搬送路モータ２３ａが備えられ、この識別用搬送路モータ２３ａに伝達ベルト２３ｂを介して、識別用搬送ローラ２３ｃに伝達される。さらに上述の搬送路２２に近接する位置に設けたローラ２３ｄと上記識別用搬送ローラ２３ｃ間に識別用搬送用ベルト２３ｅが懸け渡されて識別用搬送路２８を構成し、この識別用搬送路２８は上述の紙幣投入口２３に連接するようになっている。

また、上記識別用搬送路２８には、紙幣投入口２３から投入された紙幣の真偽の判定および種類の識別をするための光学センサ２８ａ、２８ｂと磁気センサ２８ｃが配置されている。これらの光学センサ２８ａ、２８ｂは識別用搬送路２８の図中左側のものを図に示しているが、これらの図示された光学センサ２８ａ、２８ｂの識別用搬送路２８を挟んだ反対側にも同様の光学センサが配置されている。
そして、上記識別用搬送路モータ２３ａによって、紙幣投入口２３に投入された紙幣は所定の速度で送られ、その紙幣の表面に印刷された図柄や、紙幣の長さが光学センサ２８ａ、２８ｂと、磁気センサ２８ｃで検出され。これらのセンサの出力する電気信号の波形パターンによって、紙幣の真偽、種類が判別される。この場合、紙幣識別装置２４は、千円紙幣の他に、二千円紙幣、五千円紙幣及び一万円紙幣の四種類の検出パターンが登録されており、これらの紙幣をそれぞれ真偽判別することができるようになっている。

紙幣識別装置２４は上述のように構成され、全体が紙幣投入口２３を備えた前面カバー２４ａにより覆われていると共に、さらに、上記識別用搬送路２８の上端すなわち紙幣投入口２３の反対側は、上述の搬送路２２と平行する識別用搬送路平行部分２９に接続され、分離ガイド３０により搬送路２２と分離されている。
分離ガイド３０には、押さえローラ３０ａが設けられ、この押さえローラ３０ａは、前面カバー２１ａに配置された上述の対向ローラ２２ｄより奥側に位置し、搬送ベルト２２ａを図示するように、への字状に屈曲させている。したがって、分離ガイド３０に沿う部分において、搬送路２２は略への字状に屈曲し、への字状に屈曲した搬送路２２の反対側には、識別用搬送用ベルト２３ｅが連続して懸け渡されて識別用搬送路２８が延長されている。

紙幣投入口２３に紙幣が投入されると、識別用搬送用ベルト２３ｅにより奥に送り込まれ、その過程において真偽の判定、識別が行われる。この過程においては、紙幣が不正なものであると、識別用搬送路モータ２３ａは逆転し、不正紙幣を紙幣投入口２３より排出される。
紙幣が真正なものである場合は、分離ガイド３０に沿って搬送路２２に送り出されるが、このとき上流側のユニット本体２１から紙幣が送られてくることが検出された場合には、一旦、識別用搬送路平行部分２９にて待機される。上流からの紙幣が通過後、投入された紙幣が識別用搬送路２８から搬送路２２に送り出される。このように送り出すタイミングを計ることによって、上流から搬送される紙幣と重なることがない。

次に、本発明の紙幣搬送装置１４（紙幣搬送ユニット２０）の構成にて紙幣を搬送する動作について説明する。
