<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a banknote transporting device, applicable for example in an existing game machine island, without requiring a large extent of island rebuilding, capable of being installed easily and quickly and performing the work for treating banknote jamming etc. simply. <P>SOLUTION: The banknote transporting device is composed of a banknote transport part unit consisting of a banknote insertion part including a banknote distinction part and a transport path body part having a crosswise length approximately the same as the pitch of game tables and a driving transport part unit consisting of a transport part in which an endless transport belt in flat or round form is set extending over the length of the game tables laid in line, wherein the banknote transport part unit is formed separately from the driving transport part unit, and a transport path to transport banknotes is formed between the transport path body part and the transport part so as to transport the banknotes to the end of the game machine island. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、遊技台と遊技媒体を貸出す遊技媒体貸出機とが配設された遊技島に設置され、遊技媒体を貸出すために遊技媒体貸出機に投入された紙幣を回収するために搬送する紙幣搬送装置に関し、さらに詳しくは各遊技台の上方の前面側（例えば、幕板付近）に取付けることが可能な、紙幣搬送装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
通常、遊技店における遊技島１は、横方向に直線状に配置された複数台の遊技台２、２、・・・と、互いに隣接する各遊技台２の間に配設された遊技媒体貸出機３、３、・・・と、各遊技台２、２、・・・の上方に設けられた遊技島設備品５、５、・・・と、さらにその上方に設けられたストック箱等を置いておく玉箱収納部６、６、・・・とを図示しない柱部材と、水平部材による支持枠にて構築されている（図１４）。
尚、図示する遊技台２がスロットマシンの場合は、遊技媒体貸出機３から貸出される遊技媒体はメダルであり、遊技台がパチンコ台の場合は、遊技媒体貸出機３から貸出される遊技媒体はパチンコ玉である。

上記した遊技島１は、柱部材と水平部材により構築された支持枠体内に、上述した各遊技台２、２、・・・及び遊技媒体貸出機３、３、・・・を組み込むと共に、各遊技台２、２、・・・の上方に上記遊技島設備品５、５（例えば、呼び出しランプ）、・・・及びストック箱等を置いておく玉箱収納部６、６、・・・を配置することにより、営業している。
尚、遊技台２、２、・・・の上方に玉箱収納部６があり、その上方に遊技島設備品５を配置する遊技島の場合もある。

遊技島１に配設された遊技媒体貸出機３は、投入した紙幣を紙幣識別した後、内部の収納装置付紙幣識別装置（不図示）に収納するように構成されており、遊技媒体貸出機３に投入された紙幣で満杯になった時は、店員が遊技媒体貸出機３の前面扉を開いて収納装置付紙幣識別装置に収納され、満杯になった紙幣を手作業にて巡回して回収する必要があった。

これに対して、紙幣の手作業による回収を排除するために昨今は、各遊技媒体貸出機３、３、・・・の遊技島内部の背面側に、紙幣搬送装置を備えた遊技島が、例えば実開平４−９０３８９号公報（以下、先行技術１という）に開示されている（図１２及び図１３参照）。

この遊技島においては、遊技媒体の貸出のために投入された紙幣が、各遊技媒体貸出機３、３、・・・の上部に設けられた紙幣投入口３ａから紙幣識別装置３ｂを介して紙幣を起立姿勢で搬送する紙幣搬送装置４により、遊技島の端部に設けた島管理装置に搬送し、装置内の紙幣収納装置にて、整列・収納されるように成っている。

このような構成の遊技島によれば、各遊技台２、２、・・・に、遊技媒体貸出機３、３、・・・が設けられていることにより、遊技者は、遊技台２に隣接した遊技媒体貸出機３の紙幣投入口３ａから紙幣を投入することにより、貸出機３本内の払出し機から所定枚数の遊技媒体を払出口に貸出して遊技することが出来る。
また、店員は従来のように各遊技媒体貸出機３、３、・・・収納装置付紙幣識別装置に収納され、満杯となっている紙幣を回収する手作業がなくなる。

これに対して、遊技島の上部付近（幕板付近の裏面側）に、紙幣搬送装置を備えた遊技島が、例えば特開平６−１３９４３５号（以下、先行技術２という）に開示されている（図１４及び図１５参照）。
図１５において、投入された紙幣をベタ姿勢で搬送する紙幣搬送装置７が遊技島の各遊技台２の上部付近に取付けられ、前述した呼び出しランプ５及びストック箱等を置いておく玉箱収納部６の上方で、前方に張り出すように配設されており、下方に向かって開口した紙幣投入口７ａから紙幣識別装置７ｂを介して搬送される紙幣を、遊技島の端部に設けられた島管理装置に搬送し、内方側の紙幣収納装置にて、ベタ姿勢の紙幣を整列・収納されるように成っている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述した先行技術１の紙幣搬送装置４又は先行技術２の紙幣搬送装置７は、以下のような課題が指摘されていた。
即ち、何れの紙幣搬送装置４又は７においても、紙幣搬送装置を備えていない遊技島（既存の遊技島）に新たに設置しようとすると、遊技島を構成していた各遊技台及び遊技媒体貸出機の上部付近を施工し直す（島改築）する必要がなり、多大のコスト及び時間を要していた。

また、上述した先行技術１の紙幣搬送装置４においては、遊技台の背面側の遊技島内部に設置されているため、該紙幣搬送装置４の途中で紙幣詰まり等のトラブル、紙幣搬送装置の各部品（例えば、モータ等）が故障した場合、手が届きにくい場所のため作業し難く早急に対処することが出来ず、そのため遊技客に迷惑を掛けてしまっていた。

また、上述した先行技術２の紙幣搬送装置７においては、紙幣投入口が遊技台の真上、の上方に位置することから、紙幣投入口がかなり高い位置になってしまうと共に、紙幣投入姿勢が垂直方向となるため、遊技者が紙幣投入口に紙幣を投入する際、いちいち中腰になって手を伸ばし、紙幣投入口に向けて投入するため投入し難くい。そのため、遊技媒体の貸出の意欲がなくなり、遊技店では売上減と成っていた。

本発明は、以上の点に鑑み、例えば、既存の遊技島においても大掛かりな島改築を必要せずに紙幣搬送装置を、容易な作業にて短時間で取り付けることが出来、紙幣詰まり等の対応が簡単に行える紙幣搬送装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の紙幣搬送装置は、隣接して配設された遊技台と、遊技台間に設けられた遊技媒体貸出機とから成る遊技島に設けられる紙幣搬送装置であって、
前記紙幣搬送装置は、紙幣識別部を含む紙幣投入部と、各遊技台の上方の前面側に、遊技台のピッチとほぼ同じ横方向長さを有した搬送路本体部とから成る紙幣搬送部ユニットと、複数台並んだ遊技台の長さに亘って延びるエンドレスの一本の平ベルト又は丸ベルトの搬送ベルトを架け渡たした搬送部とから成る駆動搬送部ユニットと、から成り、前記紙幣搬送部ユニットと、前記駆動搬送部ユニットとを別体と成し、前記搬送路本体部と前記搬送部の間に紙幣を搬送する搬送路を形成して紙幣を遊技島端部まで搬送する構成としたことにより、達成される。

本発明の紙幣搬送装置は、請求項１記載の紙幣搬送装置であって、遊技台の上方の前面側の搬送路本体部には呼び出しランプが着脱自在に装着されている、ことにより、達成される。

上記した構成によれば、遊技台の上方の前面側に取付けられた紙幣搬送装置の紙幣投入部に紙幣を投入すると、この紙幣は紙幣識別部により真券か否かを識別された後、紙幣搬送部ユニット（搬送路本体部）と、駆動部搬送ユニット（搬送部）の間の搬送路に進入し搬送されると共に、紙幣識別部の識別結果に基づいて、真券紙幣の場合、遊技媒体貸出機から所定数の遊技媒体が貸出されることに成る。
この紙幣を紙幣投入部に投入する動作は手が届きやすい位置にあり、投入し易い。また、紙幣投入部と同じ高さの位置の搬送路本体部に呼び出しランプを装着することが出来る。この位置は従前と同じ高さの位置に取付けることを可能にした。

また、上記した構成によれば、複数台並んだ遊技台の長さに亘って延びるエンドレスの一本の平ベルト又は丸ベルトの搬送ベルトを架け渡たした搬送部とから成る駆動搬送部ユニットを遊技台の上方の前面側（遊技島の上方外側に）に取り付け、その後に紙幣識別部を含む紙幣投入部と、各遊技台の上方の前面側に、遊技台のピッチとほぼ同じ横方向長さを有した搬送路本体部とから成る別体の個々の紙幣搬送部ユニットを外付けするだけの取付け作業で済み、既存の遊技島に紙幣搬送装置を設ける場合においても大掛かりな改築を行なう必要がなく、低コストで且つ短時間で紙幣搬送装置を遊技島に設置することが出来る。
さらに、紙幣搬送装置は、上述したように上方の前面側に取り付けられていることにより、搬送途中において紙幣詰まりが生じても対応が簡単に行えることで、遊技客に掛ける迷惑も少なく対処することが出来る。

また、上記した構成によれば、駆動搬送部ユニットの搬送部は、一本の平ベルト又は丸ベルトの搬送ベルトが複数台並んだ遊技台の長さに亘って延びるように架け渡されていることにより、各々の紙幣搬送ユニットには駆動モータ，伝動機構等を設けることなく、紙幣を挟持して搬送することが可能となり、製品コストが低減する。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面に示した実施形態に基づいて、本発明を詳細に説明していく。
図１及び図２は、本発明の紙幣搬送装置が取付けられた遊技島を示している。上記した遊技島１０は、横方向に直線状に配列された複数台の遊技台（図示の場合、スロットマシン）１２、１２、・・・と、互いに隣接する各遊技台１２、１２、・・・の間に配設される薄型形状の遊技媒体貸出機（図示の場合、台間メダル貸出機）１４、１４、・・・と、各遊技台１２、１２、・・・の上方の紙幣搬送装置２２（搬送路本体部２６）の前面側に取付けられ遊技島設備品（図示の場合、呼び出しランプ）１６、１６、・・・と、さらにその上方に設けられたストック箱等を置いておく玉箱収納部１８とが、図示しない柱部材と水平部材により支持枠体にて構築されている。

上記各遊技台１２の上方の前面側には、遊技台１２の配列のピッチと略同じ長さを有した搬送路本体部２６とから成る紙幣搬送部ユニット２６Ａが配置され、各紙幣搬送部ユニット２６Ａが横方向に遊技島１０の長さ（遊技台の配置台数分）に応じて連結する紙幣搬送ユニット２４を称して紙幣搬送装置２２を構成している。

上記紙幣搬送部ユニット２６Ａは、紙幣を投入する紙幣投入部３２及び紙幣識別部３４と、投入された紙幣を起立姿勢にて搬送する搬送路本体部２６とから構成され、紙幣投入部３２に投入された紙幣は、同じ紙幣搬送部ユニット２６Ａに属する搬送路本体部２６に送られ、さらにこの搬送路本体部２６によって図中の左隣に取付けられた紙幣搬送部ユニット２６Ａに送られていく。そして、搬送されてきた紙幣は、遊技島端部に設けられた島管理装置２０内の紙幣収納装置（不図示）にて整列収納される。このとき、回収した紙幣の枚数が正確に数えられ、売上げカウントされる。また、島管理装置２０内には搬送部２８の搬送ベルト３０を駆動させるベルト駆動部２１が設けられている（図２）。このベルト駆動部２１については後述する。
また、ここでの島管理装置２０は、回収した紙幣を整列収納する構造のみとしたが、回収した紙幣（千円紙幣）を高額紙幣の両替紙幣用としてリサイクルする構造を備えたリサイクル両替機（不図示）としても良い。

また、各紙幣搬送部ユニット２６Ａの搬送路本体部２６の前面側には遊技島設備品が取付けられている。この遊技島設備品は、図においては呼び出しランプ１６として示している。以下、遊技島設備品を呼び出しランプと記して説明する。尚、遊技島設備品は呼び出しランプでなく、別のもの（例えば、出玉等を示す液晶表示装置など）であっても良い。

上記紙幣投入部３２の紙幣投入口３２ａに起立姿勢の紙幣が投入されると、紙幣識別部３４にて識別され、この紙幣の額に応じた数の遊技媒体が薄型形状の遊技媒体貸出機１４の遊技媒体貸出機本体部１４ａの遊技媒体払出し機（不図示）から払出し口１４ｂに払出される。ここでの図示の場合は、遊技台がスロットマシンなのでメダル貸出機１４となりメダルが払出される。尚、遊技台がパチンコ台の場合はパチンコ玉貸出機（不図示）となりパチンコ玉が払出される。

図３は、紙幣搬送部ユニット２６Ａを連結した時の状態斜視図である。また、図４は、紙幣搬送部ユニット２６Ａを連結して開放し、駆動搬送部ユニット２８Ａに搬送ベルト３０を架け渡した時の状態斜視図である。
駆動搬送部ユニット２８Ａには、搬送部２８及びベルト駆動部２１の構造が示されている。
駆動搬送部ユニット２８Ａの搬送部２８の搬送部ベース２８ｂには複数個の搬送ローラ２８ｃが設けられ、この搬送ローラ２８ｃに搬送ベルト３０が架け渡されている。上記搬送ベルト３０は、複数台並んだ遊技台の長さに亘って延びる長さとし、一端側（駆動部側）の駆動ローラ２１ｂと、他端側の従動ローラ２１ｃにエンドレスの一本の丸ベルト３０ａが架け渡されている。尚、上記した駆動搬送部ユニット２８Ａの搬送部ベース２８ｂは遊技台１２の上方の前面側の位置（幕板付近）の高さに固定される。

図５は、駆動搬送部ユニット２８Ａの搬送部２８、ベルト駆動部２１を示す図であり、図６は、図５の側面断面図である。
図５において、搬送部２８の搬送ベルト３０は、丸ベルト３０ａが架け渡されている図であり、丸ベルト３０ａと記して説明する。

図５及び図６に示すように、駆動搬送部ユニット２８Ａの搬送部２８の搬送部ベース２８ｂは、遊技島の横方向全体に亘って延びるように長さと成し、紙幣搬送部ユニット２６Ａの搬送路本体部２６と駆動搬送部ユニット２８Ａの搬送部２８との略中央の間に搬送路２８ａが形成されている。この搬送路２８ａに紙幣が挟持された状態（丸ベルト３０ａと搬送ローラ２８ｃ）で上流側から下流側へと搬送されていく。上記搬送部２８の搬送部ベース２８ｂには適宜間隔を保って上下に搬送ローラ２８ｃが軸支されていて、該搬送ローラ２８ｃに丸ベルト３０ａが架け渡されている。

遊技島端部の島管理装置２０には上記丸ベルト３０ａを駆動させるベルト駆動部２１が設けられている。図５に示すように、駆動搬送部ユニット２８Ａの搬送部２８は、上述したように一本の丸ベルト３０ａが一端（左側）の駆動ローラ２１ｂと他端（右側）の従動ローラ２１ｃに架け渡されたベルト駆動部２１と成している。ベルト駆動部２１は、一端は駆動ローラ２１ｂを駆動するための駆動モータ２１ａが取付板２１ｄにて固定され、丸ベルト３０ａに張力を付与するためのテンションローラ２１ｅと、から構成されている。

そして、該駆動モータ２１ａを駆動すると、駆動ローラ２１ｂが回転し、この回転に伴って丸ベルト３０ａが駆動（矢印方向）し、搬送路２８ａの紙幣を搬送ローラ２８ｃと丸ベルト３０ａとで挟持して一端側に搬送することが出来る。
上記丸ベルト３０ａは、テンションローラ２１ｅにより張力を付与されていることにより、丸ベルト３０ａが比較的長い場合であっても、駆動ローラ２１ｂ及び従動ローラ２１ｃの間の張力で張架されるようになっている。上記テンションローラ２１ｅは、テンションバネ２１ｆにより付勢されることにより、引張り応力により、丸ベルト３０ａに対して張力を付与するようになっている。

図６に示すように、駆動搬送部ユニット２８Ａ側の搬送部２８と、前面の紙幣搬送部ユニット２６Ａ側の搬送路本体部２６とは下端に設けた蝶番２６ｄにて揺動可能に支持されている。搬送路本体部２６は、前面に呼び出しランプ１６を取付ける前面カバー部２６ａと前面カバー部ベース２６ｂとから成している。前面カバー部ベース２６ｂは中央付近に対向ローラ２６ｃが軸支されている。この対向ローラ２６ｃと上述した中央付近の搬送ローラ２８ｃと丸ベルト３０ａにて紙幣を挟持して丸ベルト３０ａの移動により搬送路２８ａに沿って搬送していくことが出来る。尚、前面の搬送路本体部２６を揺動すると、搬送路本体部２６の前面カバー部２６ａに取付けた呼び出しランプ１６も揺動する（揺動状態図は不図示）。また、前面カバー部ベース２６ｂの前面カバー部２６ａに呼び出しランプ１６を取付けた際、呼び出しランプ１６の信号配線は前面カバー部ベース２６ｂに穿設された配線孔（不図示）から信号配線が通され、内部の接続器に信号配線が接続される。

上記したように搬送部２８と、前面の搬送路本体部２６とは下端に設けた蝶番２６ｄにて揺動可能（開閉可能）に支持されているため、店員が必要に応じて前面カバー部２６ａを開閉することが出来る。すなわち、何れかの搬送路２８ａの途中で紙幣詰まり等のトラブルが生じた場合においても素早く対処（メンテナンス）することができるのである。この前面カバー部２６ａを開閉する際は、紙幣投入部３２の投入部カバー３２ｂに設けた施錠装置３２ｃを店員がキー操作することによって、ロック機構が解除され、店員のみが開閉することができ、第三者による不正（盗難）な開閉操作ができないように成っている。また、図示しないが紙幣投入部３２の投入部カバー３２ｂ、前面カバー部２６ａには開閉検出センサが設けられており、施錠装置以外の不正な開閉操作が行なわれた際には、センサの検知により店員等に報知、監視カメラにて撮影するようになっている。

図７は、紙幣搬送部ユニット２６Ａに設けた紙幣投入部３２、紙幣識別部３４を示した図である。紙幣搬送部ユニット２６Ａの一端側（右側）には紙幣識別部３４を含む紙幣投入部３２が設けられている。
紙幣投入部３２の投入部カバー３２ｂの内部には投入された紙幣を真正なものか識別し、正規の紙幣のみを搬送路２８ａに向けて送り出す識別搬送部３４ａが配置されている。識別搬送部３４ａは、一般的に紙幣を識別する手段、つまり、紙幣の表面に描かれた図柄を識別する光学センサ３４ｄ及び磁気センサ３４ｅが配置され、登録された紙幣の図柄による検出パターンと、投入された紙幣のパターンとを比較して不正紙幣の判断を行う。上記した光学センサ３４ｄ及び磁気センサ３４ｅは通路を挟んだ反対側にも同様のセンサが一対と成して配置されている。
本実施形態においては、千円紙幣はもとより、昨今流通紙幣札として使用されている二千円札、五千円札、一万円札の４金種の検出パターンを内部記憶し、投入を受け付けることが出来、紙幣の判別を可能としている。

紙幣投入部３２に投入された紙幣が不正な紙幣であれば、受け付けることなく返却される。そして、正規な紙幣の場合、投入された紙幣は取込まれて識別用待機通路３４ｂにて一旦、待機し、上流側（各紙幣搬送ユニット端部の上流検知センサ）から紙幣が搬送されて来なければ搬送路内２８ａ（本流側用通路）に送り出される。この待機状態においては投入された紙幣の額に相当する遊技媒体は払出されている。
尚、上流検知センサ（不図示）にて検知された場合は、通過するまでの間、識別用待機通路３４ｂにて待機させておくようにしてある。このようにして上流側から搬送されてくる紙幣と重ならないようにタイミングを計っている。各紙幣搬送ユニット２４の端部のジョンイント部２４ａに上流検知センサが設けられている。

各紙幣搬送ユニット２４の端部には隣接する紙幣搬送ユニットの搬送路２８ａとの結合を行うためのジョンイント部２４ａが設けられている。例えば、右端に凹状の雌ジョイント、左側に凸状の雄ジョイントが設けられ、雌雄のジョイントが嵌め合うことにより、連結される。このとき雌ジョイントに雌ジョイントを差し込んで深さを調節することにより、紙幣搬送ユニット２４の配列ピッチを調整することが出来る。すなわち、紙幣搬送ユニット２４は遊技台の配列のピッチが異なる場合においても、ある程度対応することができるのである。

識別搬送部３４ａは、識別搬送モータ３４ｆが備えられ、伝達ベルト３４ｇを介して識別搬送路ローラ３４ｈに伝達される。識別用搬送路３４ｃには分離ガイド３４ｊに嵌り込むように位置する駆動機構に、二つのローラが備えられている。このローラに識別用搬送路ベルト３４ｉが、別のローラにもう一つの識別用搬送路ベルト３４ｉが巻き渡されている。これらの識別用搬送路ベルト３４ｉは図示するように互いに、ほぼ直交する方向にまき渡されており、これらのベルトに沿った部分が識別用搬送路３４ｃとなる。識別用搬送路３４ｃはさらに分離ガイド３４ｊに沿って、搬送路２８ａとの合流点まで延びている。

上記した識別搬送部３４ａの構成により、紙幣が紙幣投入部３２（紙幣投入口３２ａ）に投入されると、識別用搬送路ベルト３４ｉにより奥方に送り込まれ、その過程において真偽の判定、種別の識別作用が行われる。尚、この過程においては、紙幣は合流点より先には送られないように成している。つまり、識別中においては紙幣の先端が搬送路２８ａに入らないように識別用搬送路３４ｃの長さが決定されている。
投入した紙幣が、不正なものと判定すると、識別用搬送モータ３４ｆの駆動が逆転して紙幣は紙幣投入口３２ａに返却される。また、投入した紙幣が、真正なものと判定すると、識別用搬送モータ３４ｆの駆動が正転して紙幣を搬送路２８ａに送り出すが、この時、紙幣搬送ユニット２４の上流側から紙幣が送られてくることを検知した場合には、一旦、待機させ、通過した後に搬送するようにしている。

次に、駆動部搬送部ユニットの搬送ベルトの他の実施形態について説明する。図８は、紙幣搬送部ユニット２６Ａを連結した時の状態斜視図である。また、図９は、紙幣搬送部ユニット２６Ａを連結して開放し、駆動搬送部ユニット２８Ａに搬送ベルト３０を架け渡した時の状態斜視図である。図１０は、搬送ベルト３０のテンション構造を拡大した図である。尚、上記した紙幣部搬送ユニット２６Ａに設けた搬送路本体部２６、紙幣投入部３２、紙幣識別部３４の構成と、駆動搬送部ユニット２８Ａに設けた搬送部２８の構成は同様なのでここでの説明は省略する。

ここでは、上記した搬送ベルト３０の丸ベルト３０ａを平ベルト３０ｂにした構成のみが異なり、この点について以下、平ベルト３０ｂと記して説明する。
駆動搬送部ユニット２８Ａに設けた搬送部２８の搬送部ベース２８ｂには複数個の搬送ローラ２８ｃが設けられ、この搬送ローラ２８ｃに平ベルト３０ｂが架け渡されている。上記平ベルト３０ｂは、複数台並んだ遊技台の長さに亘って延びる長さとしている。尚、遊技台複数台分の短い長さに亘って延びる長さとし、接続箇所には伝達機構を設けることにより、駆動させても良い。
