<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary tampon capable of being easily miniaturized as the whole before the use of the sanitary tampon enclosed in each packaging bag and being easily housed in the each packaging bag after the use of the sanitary tampon. <P>SOLUTION: The sanitary tampon 5 is enclosed in the each packaging bag 1 deformable to a bag for disposal having the opening and inner volume of a sufficient size for housing the the sanitary tampon after the use and a bottom whose maximum diameter is smaller than the opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、個装袋に封入された生理用タンポンに関する。

【従来の技術】
使用前の生理用タンポンは、衛生面上の配慮から、１つずつ包装されるか、個装袋に封入されており、使用に際して包装または個装袋から取り出される。
【０００３】
使用後の生理用タンポンは、吸収体中には固定することができない経血を含んでいる。このため、たとえティッシュやトイレットペーパーで幾重にも包んだとしても、経血が滲出することがあり、廃棄されたものとはいえ、見た目や衛生上の問題があった。また、生理用タンポンの個装袋は一般に小さいため、経血の吸収によって膨張した使用済みの生理用タンポンを廃棄するための袋に転用することはできなかった。

使用後の処分方法を心配することなく、安心して生理用タンポンを使用してもらうために、特許文献１や特許文献２では、使用前の生理用タンポンを封入するための第１の袋と、使用後の生理用タンポンを入れるための第２の袋とが一体化された個装袋が提案されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記の各特許文献に記載されている個装袋は、いずれも、第２の袋の平面視上の形状が略矩形であることから、使用後の生理用タンポンを第２の袋へ収容し易くするためには当該第２の袋の口を大型化しなければならず、それに伴って第２の袋自体も大型化することが必要となる。そして、第２の袋を大型化すると、第１の袋と合わせた個装袋全体が大型化して、携帯性が低下し易いという問題があった。

そこで、本発明は、個装袋に封入された生理用タンポンの使用前においては全体を小型化し易く、生理用タンポンの使用後においては当該生理用タンポンを個装袋に収容し易い個装袋入り生理用タンポンを提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明者は、生理用タンポンを封入する個装袋を特定の構造にすることによって、上記の課題を解決した。

以下、本発明について説明する。なお、本発明の理解を容易にするために添付図面の参照符号を括弧書きにて付記するが、それにより本発明が図示の形態に限定されるものではない。

本発明の一態様では、個装袋（１）に封入された生理用タンポン（５）であって、前記個装袋を、使用後の生理用タンポン（５Ａ）を収容し得る大きさの口（Ｏ１）および内容積、ならびに前記口よりも最大径の小さい底（Ｂ１）を有する廃棄用袋（１Ａ）に変形可能であることを特徴とする個装袋入り生理用タンポン（１０）を提供して、前記課題を解決する。

個装袋を上記廃棄用袋に変形可能なものとすることにより、開封前においては全体を容易に小型化することができる。また、個装袋を廃棄用袋に変形させた後においては、片手で底側を把持するだけで当該廃棄用袋の口を開けた状態に保つことが可能なことから、使用後の生理用タンポンを容易にその中に収容することができる。

本発明のこのような作用及び利得は、次に説明する実施の形態から明らかにされる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明に係る好ましい実施形態について、図面を参照しつつ詳述する。
なお、以下の説明においては、個装袋に封入されている生理用タンポンを「個装袋入り生理用タンポン」と称し、生理用タンポンそのものを単に「生理用タンポン」と称して、それぞれに異なる参照符合を付してある。

＜第１実施形態＞
図１（Ａ）は、本発明の第１実施形態に係る個装袋入り生理用タンポン１０を概略的に示す平面図である。

図示の個装袋入り生理用タンポン１０は、平面視上の形状が略矩形を呈する個装袋１と、この個装袋１に封入されたアプリケータータイプの生理用タンポン５とを有している。

個装袋１の長手方向には２つの封止端Ｓ１、Ｓ２があり、封止端Ｓ１に沿って、その内側に開封用のミシン目Ｍ１が入れられている。また、封止端Ｓ１と封止端Ｓ２との間には、個装袋１の長手軸に対して平面視上斜行する第３の封止端Ｓ３と、個装袋１の長手方向に対して略平行な第４の封止端Ｓ４とがある。

封止端Ｓ１〜Ｓ３は、個装袋１用の材料の端部を熱接着等の接着手段によって封止することによって形成された封止端であるが、封止端Ｓ４は、個装袋１用の材料を２つ折りにしたときに生じた折り目である。

本明細書においては、このような折り目や、個装袋用の材料を筒状に曲げたときの外周面における任意の母線に沿った端、あるいは、再封可能な手段（チャックテープ、ファスナー、粘着剤等）によって封緘された端部等も、封止端に含まれるものとする。

図１（Ａ）に示した個装袋入り生理用タンポン１０は、図１（Ｂ）に示すように、開封する前の段階で、平面視上の形状が略台形の個装袋入り生理用タンポン１０Ａに変形可能である。

図１（Ｂ）に示した個装袋入り生理用タンポン１０Ａは、例えば次のようにして作製することができる。

まず、個装袋１用の材料を等脚台形状に成形し、これを、互いに平行ではない２辺同士が重なるように２つ折りにして封止端Ｓ４を形成してから、前記２辺をヒートシールによって互いに封着させて、封止端Ｓ３を形成する。

次いで、台形の上底および下底に相当する辺の一方をヒートシールによって封着して封止端Ｓ１またはＳ２を形成し、中に生理用タンポン５を入れてから、未封止の辺をヒートシールによって封着して、封止端Ｓ１およびＳ２のうちの残りの封止端を形成する。封止端Ｓ１の形成後に、ミシン目Ｍ１を形成することにより、図１（Ｂ）に示した個装袋入り生理用タンポン１０Ａを得ることができる。
なお、ミシン目Ｍは、封止端Ｓ１の形成前に形成することもできる。必要に応じて、封止端Ｓ１やＳ３の外側に粘着剤を塗布する。

この個装袋入り生理用タンポン１０Ａを、図１（Ｂ）中に一点鎖線で示す折り目Ｃ１で折った後、さらに折り目Ｃ２で折ることによって、図１（Ａ）に示した個装袋入り生理用タンポン１０を得ることができる。折った状態を維持するうえからは、上述のように封止端Ｓ１やＳ３の外側に粘着剤を塗布しておくか、封止端Ｓ１近傍にヒートシールを施すことが好ましい。

個装袋入り生理用タンポン１０における個装袋１をミシン目Ｍ１に沿って開封することにより、図２（Ａ）に示すように、中の生理用タンポン５を取り出すことができる。このとき、封止端Ｓ３の外側に予め粘着剤が塗布されていると、個装袋１の展開が抑えられるので、当該個装袋１を容易に小型に保っておくことができる。

開封後の個装袋１を図１（Ｂ）に示した折り目Ｃ１、Ｃ２に沿って展開することにより、図２（Ｂ）に示すように、当該個装袋１を廃棄用袋１Ａに変形させることができる。

廃棄用袋１Ａは、図２（Ｂ）に示すように、使用後の生理用タンポン５Ａを収容し得る大きさの口Ｏ１および内容積を有すると共に、口Ｏ１よりも最大径の小さい底Ｂ１を有している。なお、使用後の生理用タンポン５Ａは、経血の吸収によって膨張、展開した吸収体５ａと、この吸収体５ａに固着されている取り出し用紐５ｂとを有している。

廃棄用袋１Ａが上述の形状および大きさを有していることから、当該廃棄用袋１Ａの底Ｂ１側を片手７で把持するだけで口Ｏ１を開けた状態に保ちつつ、使用後の生理用タンポン５Ａを容易にその中に収容することが可能である。

使用後の生理用タンポン５Ａを廃棄用袋１Ａに収容した後、例えば口Ｏ１を閉じて幾重にも折り込むことにより、中の生理用タンポン５Ａが零れ出すのを防止することが可能である。

このように、個装袋入り生理用タンポン１０は、生理用タンポン５の使用前においては全体を小型化し易く、生理用タンポン５の使用後においては当該使用後の生理用タンポン５Ａを廃棄袋１Ａに収容し易いものである。

使用後の生理用タンポン５Ａを廃棄用袋１Ａに収容した後に、生理用タンポン５Ａから滲出した経血によって廃棄用袋１Ａに染みができたり、廃棄用袋１Ａから経血が滲出したりするのを防止するうえから、廃棄用袋１Ａのもとなる個装袋１は、防水性または撥水性を有していることが好ましい。また、廃棄用袋１Ａに収容した生理用タンポン５Ａが外から見えないように、廃棄用袋１Ａのもとなる個装袋１は、不透明であることが好ましい。

このような個装袋１は、例えばポリエチレンフィルム、ＳＭＳ（スパンボンド・メルトブローン・スパンボンド）不織布、ＳＭＭＳ（スパンボンド・メルトブローン・メルトブローン・スパンボンド）不織布、紙もしくは不織布とポリエチレンフィルムとの積層物等を用いて形成することが可能である。また、個装袋１の内表面に、経血を吸収、保持することができる不織布、紙、吸水性ポリマー等を貼付もしくは塗布しておいてもよい。

＜第２実施形態＞
図３は、本発明に係る第２実施形態の個装袋入り生理用タンポン２０を概略的に示す斜視図である。

図示の個装袋入り生理用タンポン２０は、図１（Ｂ）に示した個装袋入り生理用タンポン１０Ａを、同図に示した折り目Ｃ１の延在方向と略平行な方向に延在する母線が形成されるように円筒状に巻回して得たものである。

まず、個装袋４１用の材料から所定の二等辺三角形に成形した材料片を２つ切り出し、これらを重ねて、当該２つの材料片において二等辺三角形の底辺に相当する辺同士は互いに離隔させたまま、底辺に相当する辺以外の辺同士をヒートシールによって互いに封着させて、封止端Ｓ２２、Ｓ２３を形成する。

この後、中に生理用タンポン４５を入れ、未封止の辺をヒートシールによって封着して封止端Ｓ２１を形成する。封止端Ｓ２１の形成後または形成前に、ミシン目Ｍ４を形成することにより、個装袋入り生理用タンポン５０Ａを得ることができる。必要に応じて、封止端Ｓ２１、Ｓ２２、Ｓ２３の平面視上の外側に粘着剤を塗布する。

この後、中に生理用タンポン５５を入れ、未封止の辺をヒートシールによって封着して封止端Ｓ３１を形成した後、または封止端Ｓ３１を形成する前に、図７（Ｂ）に示した折り目Ｃ２１、Ｃ２２に沿って袋の左右両側を中央に向けて折り曲げる所謂カニ折りにし、その後、封止端Ｓ３２に沿って更にヒートシールを施して、封止端Ｓ３２Ａを得る。封止端Ｓ３１は、封止端３２Ａの形成前または形成後にヒートシールによって形成することができる。封止端Ｓ３１およびＳ３２Ａまで形成することにより、図６（Ａ）に示した個装袋入り生理用タンポン６０を得ることができる。

以上、現時点において最も実践的であり、かつ、好ましいと思われる実施形態に関連して本発明を説明したが、本発明は、本願明細書中に開示された実施形態に限定されるものではなく、請求の範囲および明細書全体から読み取れる発明の要旨或いは思想に反しない範囲で適宜変更可能であり、そのような変更を伴う生理用タンポン（個装袋入り生理用タンポン）もまた本発明の技術的範囲に包含されるものとして理解されなければならない。

例えば、開封前の個装袋の平面視上の形状は、１つの封止端に沿って開封することによって（ｉ）使用後の生理用タンポンを収容し得る口、（ｉｉ）使用後の生理用タンポンを収容し得る内容積、および（ｉｉｉ）前記口よりも最大径の小さい底、を有する廃棄用袋に変形可能であれば、第１〜第６実施形態で示した略矩形や略台形に限定されるものではなく、個装袋の折り畳み方に応じた種々の形状とすることが可能である。

同様に、廃棄用袋の形状も、上記（ｉ）〜（ｉｉｉ）の要件を満たすものであれば、第１〜第６実施形態で説明した形状に限定されるものではなく、種々の形状とすることが可能である。例えば、第４実施形態では個装袋の両面（平面視したときの上面および下面）に襞を形成したが、片面にのみ襞を形成することも可能である。

また、個装袋の縁部は、必要に応じて、例えば鋸歯状等の所望形状に成形することもできる。

したがって、本明細書において個装袋入り生理用タンポンについていう「平面視上の形状が略矩形」とは、内部に生理用タンポンが封入されていることに起因する個装袋の変形や、個装袋を局所的に折り畳むか巻回したことによって生じた凹凸、あるいは個装袋の縁を直線状以外の所望形状に切断したときにおける当該縁がないと仮定すれば、平面視上矩形を呈することを意味する。本明細書でいう「略台形」および「略三角形」についても同様である。

個装袋を開封し易くするために、第１〜第６実施形態においては当該個装袋にミシン目を入れているが、ミシン目に代えて、開封のきっかけとなる切欠き部を設けることもできる。また、比較的引き剥がし易い封止端を形成すれば、当該封止端を開封端として利用することもできる。

したがって、本発明でいう「封止端に沿って開封する」とは、封止端よりも内側の領域を当該封止端に沿って破る動作の他に、封止端を引き剥がす動作、および、封止端が前述した再封可能な手段によって封緘されている場合には、当該再封可能な手段を開ける動作を含むものとする。

個装袋に封入される生理用タンポンとしては、種々のタイプのものを適用することができ、アプリケータータイプの生理用タンポン以外に、指を使って膣内に挿入するフィンガータイプや、スティックを使って膣内に挿入するスティックタイプの生理用タンポンであってもよい。

使用後の生理用タンポンの大きさは、当該生理用タンポンにおける吸収体のサイズに大きく左右されるので、個装袋の大きさを選定するにあたっては、当該個装袋に封入しようとする生理用タンポンにおける吸収体のサイズを十分に勘案する。

廃棄用袋に一旦収容した使用後の生理用タンポンが当該廃棄用袋から零れ出るのを防止するうえから、個装袋には、廃棄用袋を封緘するための手段を予め設けておくことができる。例えば前述した再封可能な手段によって封止端を形成した場合には、当該再封可能な手段によって、廃棄用袋を封緘することができる。また、片面または両面に粘着剤が塗布された封止用テープを個装袋の所定箇所に予め貼付しておくことによっても、廃棄用袋を封緘することが可能である。さらには、廃棄用袋を封緘するためのシールを、生理用タンポンと一緒に個装袋に封入しておくこともできる。

その他、種々の変更、改良、組み合わせ等が可能なことは当業者に自明であろう。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、本発明によれば、個装袋に封入された生理用タンポンの使用前においては全体を小型化し易く、生理用タンポンの使用後においては当該生理用タンポンを個装袋に収容し易い生理用タンポンが提供される。使用後の生理用タンポンの処分方法を心配することなく、生理用タンポンをより安心して使用することが可能になる。
