【0023】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an apparatus for detecting contamination of an insulator surface due to salt damage.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Insulators are installed in power generation and substation facilities and support cables to which high voltage is applied. When the power generation and transformation equipment is located in a salt-damaged area, salt adheres to the surface of the insulator, and the insulator is contaminated. As the insulator becomes more contaminated, a partial discharge occurs on the insulator surface, which may lead to a ground fault.
[0003]
As a method for preventing such an accident, there is a method using a pilot insulator. This method exposes the pilot insulator to the same environment as the insulator to be detected for fouling. Then, after a certain period of time, the amount of soiling is measured by a brush washing method. There is also a method in which this brush washing method is automated.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The above-mentioned conventional method is a destructive measurement, or a non-exposure period occurs during the measurement. For this reason, there has been a problem that the effect of washing away the insulator surface due to rain or the like cannot be confirmed, or a large measurement error occurs.
An object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus capable of detecting insulator fouling by nondestructive, continuous exposure, and continuous measurement.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been made to achieve the above object. An insulator fouling detector according to the present invention comprises a substrate having a surface equivalent to an insulator to be detected, a resistance sensor having two electrodes disposed on the surface of the substrate, and a substrate based on an impedance value between the two electrodes. And a measuring unit for calculating the amount of surface contamination.
[0006]
The resistance sensor is arranged in a place in the same environment as the insulator to be detected for contamination. When the surface of the insulator is contaminated with salt, the substrate surface of the resistance sensor is also contaminated. When salt adheres to the substrate surface, the impedance between the electrodes changes. Based on this impedance value, the amount of salt attached to the substrate surface is calculated.
[0007]
Since the insulator fouling detector of the present invention can continuously detect fouling while being placed in the same environment as the insulator, the fouling of the insulator can be detected by nondestructive, continuous exposure and continuous measurement.
[0008]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
(Embodiment 1)
FIG. 1 shows a first configuration of an insulator fouling detector suitable for the present invention.
The insulator fouling detector 1 has a resistance sensor 2 and a measuring unit 3.
[0009]
The configuration of the resistance sensor 2 will be described with reference to FIG.
The resistance sensor 2 includes a substrate 4 made of the same material as that of an insulator (not shown) to be detected and coated with the same glaze or coated with glass, and two electrodes 5 arranged on the substrate 4. FIG. 2 also shows the capacitance sensor 6, which will be described later. An impedance r 0 appears between the electrodes 5 according to the amount of fouling due to salt attached to the surface of the substrate 4.
[0010]
The resistance sensor 2 is arranged near the insulator to be detected and is exposed to the same environment. Two electrodes 5 arranged on the resistance sensor 2 are introduced into the measuring unit 3 as shown in FIG.
In the measuring section 3, the two electrodes 5 are connected to the CR oscillation circuit 7. The CR oscillation circuit 7 includes an inverter INV, a resistor R, and a capacitance C.
The output signal of the CR oscillation circuit 7 is input to the determination unit 8. The determination unit 8 is configured by a CPU. Output signals of the temperature sensor 9 and the humidity sensor 10 are input to the determination unit 8.
[0011]
The output frequency F 0 of the CR oscillation circuit 7 is determined by the combined impedance of the impedance r 0 and the resistance r 1 of the resistance sensor 2 and the capacitance C.
The impedance r 0 of the resistance sensor 2 is an impedance appearing between the electrodes 5 and changes according to the amount of contamination on the surface of the resistance sensor 2. This impedance r 0 becomes infinite when no stain is obtained. Even in such a case, the compensation resistor r1 is connected to the input side of the CR oscillation circuit 7 so that the CR oscillation circuit 7 oscillates stably.
[0012]
The output cycle T (= 1 / F 0 ) of the CR oscillation circuit 7 is as follows.
(Equation 1)
Note that x is a constant, for example, 0.69 when a C-MOS circuit is used.
[0013]
FIG. 3 shows an output signal waveform of the CR oscillation circuit 7.
When the resistance sensor 2 is not stained, the impedance r 0 becomes infinite, so that the oscillation cycle T of the CR oscillation circuit 7 is determined by the compensation resistance r 1 and the capacitance C, and is large as shown in FIG. 3A. the period T 0 become. As the contamination progresses, the impedance r 0 decreases, so the combined impedance of r 0 and r 1 also decreases, and the oscillation cycle changes to a small cycle T 1 as shown in FIG. 3B.
[0014]
The output signal of the CR oscillation circuit 7 is input to the determination unit 8. The determination unit 8 calculates the amount of contamination based on the measured period T. Since this calculation method is well known, the description is omitted here. The determination unit 8 displays the calculation result on a display unit or outputs the calculation result to an external device such as a monitoring panel.
[0015]
The impedance r 0 due to salt adhesion becomes infinite in a dry state such as fine weather, and the impedance decreases as the humidity approaches 100%. Further, the impedance slightly changes depending on the temperature. Therefore, in this example, the temperature and the humidity detected by the temperature sensor 9 and the humidity sensor 10 are used in the calculation of the amount of contamination in the determination unit 8. Since this method is well known, the description is omitted here. Actually, the measurement and calculation of the fouling amount can be performed at a humidity of 70 to 95% due to the salt moisture absorption characteristics.
[0016]
Since the resistance sensor 2 is arranged in the same environment as the insulator to be detected, the amount of contamination detected by the resistance sensor 2 can be considered to be substantially equal to the amount of contamination of the insulator to be detected. Therefore, when it is determined that the amount of contamination in the resistance sensor 2 exceeds a predetermined value, cleaning of the insulator and the like are performed. As described above, by using the insulator temperature detector 1, insulator cleaning can be performed at an optimal timing.
[0017]
The insulator contamination detector 1 described above can continuously detect contamination while being exposed to the same environment as the insulator to be detected. Therefore, the non-exposure period of the sensor is eliminated, and the accumulation of measurement errors can be prevented. In addition, the effect of washing away by rain etc. can be confirmed.
[0018]
(Embodiment 2)
When such a water drops on the surface of the resistive sensor 2 rainfall, the impedance r 0 abruptly decreases, which causes a large measurement error. In this example, the influence of such rainfall is excluded from the detection result of the insulator fouling detector 1.
FIG. 4 shows the configuration of the insulator fouling detector of this example.
In FIG. 4, the same portions as those in the configuration of FIG. 1 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant description will be omitted.
[0019]
As the electrostatic capacitance C of the CR oscillation circuit 7, the capacitance C 0 of the resistance sensor 2 and the capacitive sensor 6 formed integrally it is used.
The configuration of the capacitance sensor 6 is shown in FIG.
The capacitance sensor 6 is configured by arranging two electrodes 12 on the substrate 4 on which the resistance sensor 2 is formed. A capacitance C 0 is generated between the electrodes 12.
[0020]
Since the illustrated capacitance sensor 6 is formed integrally with the resistance sensor 2, it is affected by rain, snow, and the like in the same manner as the resistance sensor 2. Note that the two sensors 2 and 6 may be configured separately and arranged side by side.
When water drops adhere to the surface of the substrate 11 due to rain, the capacitance C 0 between the electrodes 12 is increased.
[0021]
Returning to FIG. 4, CR oscillation circuit 7 of the measuring unit 3, the inverter INV, resistors R, composed of the electrostatic capacitance C 0 generated between the electrodes 12.
The impedance r 0 of the resistance sensor 2 decreases due to rainfall or the like, but at the same time, the capacitance C 0 between the electrodes 12 increases. Therefore, the output frequency of the CR oscillation circuit 7 corrects the influence of the decrease in the impedance r 0 by increasing the capacitance C 0 , so that the error can be reduced.
[0022]
In the example shown in FIG. 4, the capacitance C 0 of the capacitance sensor 6 is replaced by the capacitance C of the CR oscillation circuit 7, but the capacitance C 0 of the capacitance sensor 6 may be used in another form. You can also.
For example, the capacitance sensor 6 can be used as a rain sensor in the circuit of FIG. In this case, an output of the capacitive sensor 6 to the determination unit 8, when the capacitance C 0 has exceeded a predetermined value, stops the calculation processing of the determination unit 8. Further, the value of the capacitance C 0, the calculated values may be to correct.
[0023]
