[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, correction of the peripheral light amount drop by image processing causes a problem that adverse effects such as an increase in noise occur. Further, even when the shooting conditions are the same, the peripheral light amount drop is noticeable depending on the shooting scene. Therefore, if the peripheral light amount correction is performed only with the conventional shooting conditions, the correction becomes excessive and noise becomes too noticeable. In other words, there is a problem that the amount of peripheral light may become conspicuous due to insufficient correction.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of such a problem, and an object of the present invention is to provide a camera system that can exchange lenses so as to obtain an optimal output image by performing peripheral light amount correction according to a shooting scene. Is what you do.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, according to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided an interchangeable lens having an imaging optical system, storage means for storing information on a peripheral light amount of the imaging optical system, and a subject formed by the imaging optical system. A camera body detachable with an interchangeable lens including an image pickup device for picking up an image, parameter setting means for setting peripheral light amount correction parameters, and correction means for performing peripheral light amount correction on an output from the image pickup device; Is provided.
[0007]
The information on the peripheral light amount stored in the storage means is peripheral light amount information according to zoom, Fno, object distance, and pupil position, and is preferably peripheral light amount information according to the actual image height.
[0008]
It is preferable that the parameter setting unit sets parameters in accordance with the peripheral light amount information according to the imaging conditions of the imaging optical system and the output image from the imaging device.
[0009]
Here, the parameter setting means may be configured to set parameters according to the set ISO sensitivity.
[0010]
It is preferable that the parameter setting unit divides the output image into a plurality of regions and sets parameters according to the state of the image in each region.
[0011]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
(1st Embodiment)
FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating a camera system according to a first embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, 1 is an interchangeable lens, 2 is an imaging optical system, 3 is storage means for storing peripheral light amount data according to the imaging conditions of the imaging optical system 2, 4 is a camera body, and 5 is formed by the imaging optical system 2. An image pickup device for picking up an image of a subject, an image processing means for extracting characteristics of an output image from the image pickup device 5, a photographing condition of the image pickup optical system 2, and an output from the image pickup device 5. A parameter setting means for setting a peripheral light amount correction parameter according to an image; and a correction means for performing a peripheral light amount correction on an output image from the image sensor based on the peripheral light amount correction parameter set by the parameter setting means. , 9 are storage means for recording the image corrected by the correction means 7, and 10 are communication means for communicating with the camera body the shooting conditions of the imaging optical system 2 and information on the amount of peripheral light under the shooting conditions. It is a stage.
[0012]
A method of performing peripheral light amount correction with the above configuration will be described with reference to FIG. When the photographer performs a photographing operation (101), information on the peripheral light amount under photographing conditions at the time of photographing of the photographing optical system 2 is transmitted to the parameter setting unit 7 using the communication unit 10 (102). The output image from the image sensor 5 is subjected to Fourier transform in the image processing means 6 to extract the frequency characteristics of the image. (103). The parameter setting means 7 sets parameters for peripheral light quantity correction based on the peripheral light quantity information of the image pickup optical system 2 under the photographing conditions and the frequency characteristics of the output image from the image pickup device 5 (104). Based on the peripheral light amount correction parameter set by the parameter setting unit 7, the correction unit 8 performs peripheral light amount correction on the output image from the image sensor 5 (105). The image corrected by the correction means 8 is stored as an output image in the recording means 9 (106).
[0013]
Here, zoom, Fno, object distance, and pupil position are used as parameters representing imaging conditions of the imaging optical system. If there are many high-frequency components based on the frequency characteristics of the output image extracted by the image processing means 7, it is determined that the image is relatively fine, and parameters are set so that peripheral light amount correction is performed weakly. If there are many components having low frequencies, it is determined that there are relatively many uniform surfaces, and parameters are set so that peripheral light amount correction is performed more strongly. Thus, the state of the peripheral light amount of the imaging optical system 2 and the state of the subject can be grasped, and the peripheral light amount can be corrected according to the state of the subject.
[0014]
Although the image processing means 7 extracts the frequency characteristics of the image in order to grasp the state of the output image, the uniformity of the image may be extracted using a color histogram of the image. Assuming that the peripheral light amount information stored in the storage means 3 is information corresponding to the actual image height, the peripheral light amount can be changed even in a camera having an imaging surface smaller than a conventional 135 film such as an APS-C size using a conventional 135 film interchangeable lens. Can be easily and appropriately corrected.
[0015]
In addition, when setting the parameters of the peripheral light amount correction, the degree of correction may be set automatically or may be set so as not to perform the correction depending on the photographer's preference. You may do it.
[0016]
(2nd Embodiment)
FIG. 3 is a diagram showing a second embodiment of the present invention, and the configuration of the second embodiment is the same as that of FIG.
[0017]
A second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. When the photographer performs a photographing operation (201), information on the peripheral light amount under photographing conditions at the time of photographing of the photographing optical system 2 is transmitted to the parameter setting means 7 using the communication means 10 (202). Further, the output image from the image sensor 5 is divided into a plurality of areas by the image processing means 7 (203), and the frequency characteristics of the image in each area are extracted by performing a Fourier transform (204). The parameter setting means 7 sets parameters for peripheral light quantity correction on the basis of the peripheral light quantity information under the photographing conditions of the imaging optical system 2 and the frequency characteristics of the output image from the image pickup device 5 extracted by the image processing means 6. Is performed (204). Based on the peripheral light amount correction parameter set by the parameter setting unit 7, the correction unit 8 performs peripheral light amount correction on the output image from the image sensor 5 (205). The image corrected by the correction means 8 is stored as an output image in the recording means 9 (206).
[0018]
Here, zoom, Fno, object distance, and pupil position are used as parameters representing imaging conditions of the imaging optical system. In addition, according to the frequency characteristics in each of the plurality of regions of the output image extracted by the image processing means 7, when a high frequency component is present in the peripheral portion, it is determined that the peripheral light amount drop is relatively inconspicuous, Set the parameter so that correction is performed weakly, or if there are many low frequency components in the peripheral area, judge that the comparative peripheral light amount drop is conspicuous and set the parameter so that the peripheral light amount correction is performed strongly. Or Thus, the state of the peripheral light amount of the imaging optical system 2 and the state of the subject can be grasped, and the peripheral light amount can be corrected according to the state of the subject.
[0019]
In the above-described image processing means 7, the frequency characteristics of the image are extracted in order to grasp the state of the output image. However, the uniformity of the image may be extracted using a color histogram of the image. Assuming that the peripheral light amount information stored in the storage means 3 is information corresponding to the actual image height, a conventional 135-film interchangeable lens is used in a camera having an imaging surface smaller than a conventional 135-film such as an APS-C size. This also makes it possible to easily and appropriately correct the peripheral light amount.
[0020]
In addition, when setting the parameters of the peripheral light amount correction, the intensity of the correction may be set automatically or may be set according to the preference of the photographer, or the correction may not be performed. You may do it.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the invention of the present application, the peripheral light amount correction parameter is set and corrected according to the state of the peripheral light amount fall of the imaging optical system and the state of the photographed image, so that the peripheral light amount becomes excessive. A camera system capable of performing appropriate peripheral light amount correction without performing correction or insufficient correction can be provided.
