Abstract
Description
【0001】
一方、名刺に掲載すべきデータはPDA(Personal Digital Assistants)や携帯電話などの携帯端末で扱うこともできる。

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an electronic business card providing method and an electronic business card providing apparatus. The present invention particularly relates to a technique for acquiring information to be registered as an electronic business card from a user and publishing the information for browsing on a network.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, business card exchange has been indispensable as a business habit, but management of received business cards is complicated. In order to support the business card management, a method of electronically managing the contents of the business card by inputting the contents of the business card into a computer is considered. Although a method of digitizing information using a scanner is also conceivable, there is no much difference from the case where a scanner is not used in terms of the complexity of having to input data one by one. On the other hand, data to be posted on a business card can be handled by a portable terminal such as a PDA (Personal Digital Assistants) or a mobile phone. In this case, business card data can be exchanged using infrared communication or wireless communication from a close distance of the partner terminal.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, business card exchange in a portable terminal is limited by compatibility of hardware and software, etc., and has not yet become widespread as a technique for replacing a business card using a conventional paper medium. In addition, management is confused on the contrary if the other party is forced to use the electronic medium and the paper medium properly. Therefore, it was considered that there is a potential demand for a technology that can also be used with a conventional business card and that facilitates data management.
[0004]
The present inventor has made the present invention based on the above recognition, and aims to provide a technology for efficiently exchanging and managing information by fusing an electronic business card registered on a network with a business card printed on paper. It is in. Another object is to provide a technique for efficiently realizing various information exchanges performed in association with business card exchange.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
One embodiment of the present invention relates to an electronic business card providing method. In this method, in order to create an electronic business card in a virtual world in which a business card in the real world is digitized, a step of obtaining the contents of the business card to be digitized from a user who is the person himself, and a user used to specify the electronic business card A process of issuing a business card ID, which is unique identification information to be posted along with a name in a business card in the real world, to a user who is a principal, and arranging the contents of the business card, the business card ID, and a URL indicating a site for viewing electronic business cards. A step of generating electronic business card data by determining a business card layout; a step of storing electronic business card data in association with a business card ID in a storage device; and collecting and storing another user's business card ID for each user. And generating a business card collection for performing a business card collection, and, when a business card ID is specified as a browsing target by a user serving as a viewer, the business card ID corresponds to the specified business card ID. Extracting the electronic business card from the storage device and transmitting the electronic business card to the user as a viewer, registering the business card ID to be viewed in the business card collection based on the instruction of the user as the viewer, and Notifying the registered user of the electronic business card of the fact that the registration has been made and the business card ID of the user who performed the registration, and performing the registration in the business card collection of the user who received the notification. Mutually registering the user's business card ID.
[0006]
A "business card in the real world" is a card that describes the name and status of an individual, and is exchanged with a business partner who is particularly new to business. The electronic information of the name and the like described in this business card is “electronic business card in a virtual world”, and it is assumed that the electronic business card is mainly downloaded from a server via the Internet and displayed on a screen. The “business card ID” is information unique to the user who has been issued an electronic business card, and the user or another person downloads a desired electronic business card by designating the business card ID. This business card ID is used not only in the virtual world but also on the business card in the real world. That is, the other party receiving the business card on which the business card ID is posted can access the server that manages the electronic business card and acquire the electronic information of the business card based on the business card ID. “Principal” is not intended to be strictly limited to one individual who is the person himself / herself. For example, in the case of a company contract, the manager or the person in charge of the company may be permitted to act on behalf of issuance procedures.
[0007]
The “business card collection” is an area in which business card IDs of the partners whose business cards are exchanged by a certain user are mainly collected, and are managed for each user. For example, the information may be managed in the same manner as an address book, an e-mail address book, a URL bookmark, and the like. When the first user registers the business card ID of the second user in the business card collection of the first user, the fact is notified to the second user and the first business card collection of the second user is similarly registered in the business card collection of the second user. The business card ID of the user is automatically registered.
[0008]
Generally, after a business card exchange in the real world, the person who exchanged the business card individually inputs the contents of the business card, for example, a name and an e-mail address, into a computer. According to this aspect, it is possible to acquire the electronic data of the contents of the business card only by inputting the business card ID, and to automatically obtain the electronic data from each other only by inputting the business card ID by one of the business card exchangers. . As a result, it is possible to save the trouble of inputting the business card data which has been performed repeatedly.
[0009]
Another embodiment of the present invention relates to an electronic business card providing device. This apparatus uses an electronic business card in a virtual world in which a business card in the real world is digitized, and a business card ID which is user-specific identification information used to identify the electronic business card and which should be posted on the business card in the real world. An issue unit for issuing to a certain user, an electronic business card storage unit for storing electronic business card data in association with a business card ID, and a business card collection for collecting and storing another user's business card ID for each user A business card collection storage unit, a display processing unit that extracts and transmits an electronic business card corresponding to the specified business card ID from the electronic business card storage unit when a business card ID is specified as a browsing target, and a business card ID to be viewed. And a registration processing unit for registering the business card collection based on an instruction of a user who is a viewer. The registration processing unit notifies the user who is the principal of the electronic business card registered in the business card collection of the fact that the registration has been made and the business card ID of the user who has performed the registration, and the business card collection of the user who has received the notification. , The business card ID of the user who has made the registration is reciprocally registered.
[0010]
The present device may be mainly realized as a server that holds electronic business cards of a plurality of users on a network and returns data of the electronic business cards in response to a browsing request from a user terminal. The electronic business card storage unit and the business card collection storage unit may be each realized as a storage device in terms of hardware.
[0011]
Also in this embodiment, the business card contents can be acquired only by inputting the business card ID, and the input of the business card ID may be performed only on one of the sides that exchanged the business card. This can save the trouble of inputting duplicate business card data. Further, since the management of the business card data is performed collectively on the server, the company can use the business card data in an outsourcing manner in a department unit or a company unit.

On the other hand, the business card ID of the viewed electronic business card can be registered in its own business card collection. After the registration, the own business card ID is automatically registered in the business card collection of the other party. At this time, a method of registering with the consent of the other party can also be selected. In this case, a notification that the registration has been made and a request for consent are sent to the other party by e-mail or the like, and automatic registration is executed when a reply is received.

[0040]
In the embodiment, the business card ID of the electronic business card being viewed is registered when a registration instruction to the business card collection is issued, but the registration target may not be the business card ID being viewed. For example, a configuration may be employed in which a plurality of business card IDs to be registered can be simultaneously specified and registered collectively.
[0041]
In a modified example, the character string of the business card ID may be provided with regularity and used for authentication. For example, the business card ID may be a character string having a predetermined regularity for each company to which the company belongs, thereby preventing so-called “spoofing”.
[0042]
In a modified example, the date and time of registration to the business card collection may be recorded. If the date and time of the mutual registration are also recorded, it becomes a record of business card exchange for both parties, and since an input by either one is sufficient, an AC record can be created efficiently.
