【0001】

A first developer carrier that reduces a developer amount on the second developer carrier located downstream of the first developer carrier with respect to a moving direction of the image carrier to a predetermined amount; In a developing device which is disposed close to the second developer carrier to such an extent that it is regulated, The first magnetic pole of the first magnetic field generating member and the second magnetic pole of the second magnetic field generating member, which are respectively disposed near the opposed positions of the first and second developer carriers, have different polarities. And a half of the magnetic force pattern in the normal direction of the first developer carrier near the position where the first magnetic pole of the first magnetic field generating member is close to and opposed to the first and second developer carriers. The value width is larger on the image carrier side than on the inner side of the developing container.
[0017]
Further, the half width of the magnetic force pattern is twice or more larger on the image carrier side than on the inner side of the developing container.
[0018]
In addition, the first magnetic pole and the second magnetic pole have a magnetic force that satisfies a relationship of (first magnetic pole ≧ second magnetic pole ≧ 50 mT).
