本発明は照明装置を有する冷蔵庫に関するものである。

近年の冷蔵庫においては、使い勝手向上の為、冷凍室内に照明装置が設けられている。従来のこの種の冷蔵庫としては、特開平4−84093号公報に示されているものがある。

以下、図面を参照しながら上記従来の冷蔵庫を説明する。

図5は従来の冷蔵庫の要部断面図である。図において、1は冷蔵庫本体で、外箱、内箱に発泡断熱材を充填して構成している。2は冷凍室である。冷凍室2は前面に冷凍室扉3を備え、庫内背部に冷却器4、冷気循環送風機5を構成している。6は、照明手段に係るランプで、このランプ6は冷凍室扉3に近い部分に設けられており、ランプケ−ス7及び、ランプカバ−8で覆われている。ランプカバ−8は乳白色の樹脂製のもので、凸面状円盤部を出っ張らせる形状をなしている。

しかしながら、上記従来の構成では、ランプカバ−8が乳白色1色で構成している為、庫内が暗く、意匠性も劣るという欠点があった。

本発明の請求項1に記載の発明は、少なくとも冷蔵室、冷凍室を有し、庫内に照明装置と前記照明装置を覆う照明カバーを有する冷蔵庫において、前記照明カバーは樹脂にて成形され、部分的に着色部を有し、前記照明カバーは光を透過するものであり、照明装置により発した光は照明カバーを通して庫内を照らし、庫内の視認性を高める。また、部分的に着色部を有しているので、光源が白色系でも光の色を自由に変えることができ、外観的に優れた照明装置となる。

以下、本発明による冷蔵庫の実施の形態について、図面を参照しながら説明する。

図1は、本発明の実施の形態1による冷蔵庫の正面図、図2は同実施の形態の冷蔵庫の冷蔵室の正面図、図3は、同実施の形態の冷蔵庫の冷蔵室の側面断面図、図4は、同実施の形態の冷蔵庫のランプカバ−の分解斜視図である。

図において、30は冷蔵庫本体であって、樹脂製の内箱31と鋼板製の外箱32によって箱体を形成している。33は冷蔵室で、冷蔵庫30の最上部に位置し、下方に順に野菜室34、製氷室35、切替室36、冷凍室37を有している。38は冷蔵室扉で、一方を支持されて回転する回転式扉である。冷蔵室33内には複数の棚39が所定の間隔を有し配置されている。冷蔵室33の背面には冷蔵室背面構成部材40をビス等により固定し、冷蔵室33を冷却するダクト(図示せず)を背面に構成している。

冷蔵室33の背面略中央部で、内箱31側には照明装置としてのランプ41を複数設けている。ランプ41は比較的安価な白色灯を用いている。そして、冷蔵室背面構成部材40の略中央部にはランプ41の前面を覆うようにランプカバー42を有する。ランプカバー42は樹脂にて成形され、部分的に着色部43を有し、前記ランプカバー42は光を透過する材料で成形されている。また、着色部43は別部品で構成し、爪44でランプカバー42の孔部45に嵌合される。そして、ランプ41の前面投影部に対応した位置に着色部43は配置される。また、着色部43の一部には文字等の印刷46を施してある。また、複数の着色部43は棚39の間に位置するように配置されている。

上記構成において、使用者が冷蔵室33内の食品の出し入れのために冷蔵室扉38を開くことで、ドアスイッチ(図示せず)が動作し、ランプ41に通電される。そして、ランプカバー42は樹脂にて成形され、部分的に着色部43を有し、前記ランプカバー42は光を透過する材料で成形されているので、ランプ41により発した光はランプカバー42を通して庫内を照らし、従来の乳白色のランプカバーに比べ庫内の視認性が高まる。また、ランプカバー42の一部分に着色部43を有しているので、光源が白色灯でも光の色を着色化でき、外観的に優れた照明装置となる。
