Description

Domestic refrigeration appliance
Technical Field
The invention relates to a domestic refrigeration device having a lighting device.
Background
Household refrigeration appliances generally comprise: an insulated body having an inner container defining a boundary of a coolable inner chamber configured for holding food; a refrigeration device for cooling the coolable interior chamber; and an insulating door leaf which closes the coolable interior chamber in the closed state and makes the coolable interior chamber accessible in the open state. The domestic refrigeration appliance may also comprise a lighting device, for example in the form of an interior lighting device.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide an improved domestic refrigerator having a lighting device.
The object of the invention is achieved by a domestic refrigerator having a coolable interior provided for storing foodstuffs, a refrigerating device for cooling the coolable interior, a heat-insulating wall and a planar lighting device, the heat-insulating wall comprising an inner skin facing the coolable interior, an outer skin facing away from the coolable interior and a heat insulator arranged between the inner skin and the outer skin, the planar lighting device comprising a transparent planar light conductor having a first side and a second side opposite the first side and provided with a light-reflecting coating, and at least one luminous body which projects its light laterally into the planar light conductor, so that the light-reflecting coating can at least partially reflect the light incident into the planar light conductor and at least partially couple the light incident into the planar light conductor (31) out of the first side of the planar light conductor, the planar light conductor is fastened with its second surface to the side of the outer or inner skin facing away from the thermal insulation, and is dimensioned such that it covers the side of the outer or inner skin facing away from the thermal insulation at least for the most part, preferably substantially completely.
The domestic refrigeration appliance according to the invention comprises in particular: an insulated body having an inner container defining a boundary of a coolable inner chamber configured for holding food; and a door leaf which is arranged so as to be pivotable relative to the body and is provided for opening and closing the coolable interior. The insulating body comprises in particular also an outer skin and an insulation arranged between the inner container and the outer skin, preferably configured as an insulating foam. The insulating wall to which the planar light conductor is fixed, preferably by means of adhesive tape, is for example part of an insulating body. In this case, the inner container is the endothelium. The insulating wall to which the planar light conductor is fastened is, for example, a side wall of the insulating body, wherein the planar light conductor is preferably fastened to the outer skin so that the side of the side wall of the insulating body pointing outwards can be illuminated. Preferably, the heat-insulating wall is a heat-insulating door leaf, wherein the planar light conductor is preferably fastened to an outer skin of the heat-insulating door leaf, so that the side of the door leaf pointing outwards can be illuminated.
The planar lighting device is therefore preferably a planar exterior lighting device, in particular a planar front lighting device of a domestic refrigerator or a headlight, which is in particular designed to be switched on and off. Thus, preferably the entire front side, i.e. the outer side of the door leaf, is illuminated.
The planar lighting device comprises a transparent planar light guide. The transparent planar light conductor is based in particular on a transparent material, for example PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) or polycarbonate, which is provided on its second or rear side with a light-reflecting coating or light-reflecting layer.
The planar light conductor is fastened with its second surface to the side of the outer or inner skin facing away from the thermal insulation, and is dimensioned such that it covers the side of the outer or inner skin facing away from the thermal insulation at least to a large extent, preferably substantially completely. In the case of a planar exterior lighting device, the entire outer side of the door leaf can thus be illuminated, for example.
The light-reflecting coating can be configured, for example, as a light-reflecting lacquer layer, a printed layer. Preferably, the light-reflective coating is a light-reflective film, in particular a metal foil. The film or the metal foil can be structured and/or provided with a pattern on its side facing the planar light guide.
Preferably, the light-reflecting coating or light-reflecting layer comprises or consists of a real material/real metal or a corresponding printed layer or film. The light-reflecting coating or light-reflecting layer is directly connected to the planar light conductor or to the second side thereof.
The lighting device comprises at least one light emitter. The light emitter comprises for example at least one LED, preferably a plurality of LEDs. The luminous body projects its light laterally into the planar light conductor, so that the light-reflecting coating can at least partially reflect the light projected into the planar light conductor and at least partially couple the light projected into the planar light conductor out of the first surface of the planar light conductor.
For example, in order to improve the distribution of incident light in the planar light conductor, the second surface of the planar light conductor may be structured and/or the second surface of the planar light conductor may comprise scattering particles for improving the light distribution inside the planar light conductor and/or for coupling light out of the planar light conductor. The structuring may also comprise at least one symbol and/or at least one letter. The structuring can be printed, laser-engraved or etched. Furthermore, the coupling out of light can be achieved or at least improved by introducing scattering particles. The cut edge of the planar light guide can also emit light uniformly here, since light is usually not completely coupled out of the first surface. Furthermore, it is possible to laser-engrave information, text or a logo into the material of the planar light guide and thereby also to make it glow.
The light of the luminous body is thus injected and, if necessary, reproduced in a preferably planar manner by structuring in the planar light guide.
The domestic refrigerator according to the invention comprises a coolable interior which is cooled by a refrigerating device. The refrigerating device is preferably designed as a coolant circuit known in principle to the person skilled in the art and is preferably designed such that it cools the coolable interior to at least approximately a predetermined temperature. The coolable inner chamber is configured to store food items.
The domestic refrigeration appliance according to the invention can be, for example, a domestic refrigeration appliance. In this case, the coolable inner chamber is cooled to a temperature of more than 0 ℃. However, the domestic refrigerator according to the invention can also be a freezer or a combined freezer and refrigerator appliance. The domestic refrigerator according to the invention can have exactly one coolable interior space, but also a plurality of coolable interior spaces which can be closed and opened in each case by an insulating door leaf.
The heat-insulating door leaf can comprise two side beams, in particular made of plastic, to which the inner and outer skin of the door leaf are fastened. At least one of the side members may include a grip groove. The light can be fixed to one of the side beams and preferably extends over the entire length of the side edge of the transparent light guide facing this side beam. That is to say, the luminous bodies in this case inject their light into this side edge of the planar light guide.
In order to mask the lateral incidence of light and the "Hot spots" formed thereby, an additional material (for example, a stainless steel plate) can be applied to the front side or first surface of the planar light guide.
The lighting device of the domestic refrigerator according to the invention can therefore comprise a light screen which partially overlaps the first surface of the planar light guide in the region of the luminous body which projects its light laterally into the planar light guide. The shading plate can be printed or formed, for example, as a sheet, in particular a stainless steel sheet.
In the case of an insulated door leaf as an insulated wall, the shading panel can at least partially overlap the side beam to which the luminous body is fixed.
Thus, the sensation of the domestic refrigeration device can be realized on the basis of a planar lighting device, in particular if it is configured as a planar external lighting device. If necessary, an operating state (for example, standby or door alarm) is also displayed. Interaction possibilities with the user (e.g. when the user is close) can also be achieved. In this case, the domestic refrigeration appliance can comprise a proximity sensor, so that the domestic refrigeration appliance is provided for automatically switching on and off the luminous body as a function of a signal of the proximity sensor.
The lighting device may be configured as a "night light" in the dark. In this case, the domestic cooling appliance can comprise a light sensor, so that the domestic cooling device is provided for automatically switching on and off the luminous body as a function of the signal of the light sensor.
It can also be provided that the light color (color temperature) or the color of the light of the luminous body is designed to be adjustable.
