住宅等の建物の外壁部分に断熱材を設ける構造として、外壁下地の外側に断熱材を張り付けて構成される外張断熱外壁構造がある。外張断熱外壁構造は、柱や間柱の間に断熱材を充填するいわゆる充填断熱外壁構造に対して、断熱欠損が少なく、木材材積が少ない等の利点を有している。

しかし、ジオス工法等により施工される従来の一般的な外張断熱外壁構造においては、次のような欠点がある。
即ち、外壁下地に仮止めされた断熱材の内部に、該断熱材の厚みを所定厚みに確保するためのスペーサーを挿通する必要があるが、従来においては、断熱材の表面を被覆している防水シートに、該スペーサーを挿通し得る充分な径の孔部を穿孔しているため、該孔部において防水性が低かった。また、複数個の断熱材を並置する場合、従来においては、防水シートの継目を粘着テープで継ぎ合わせているが、粘着テープの耐久性や信頼性が不充分であるため、防水シートの継目において防水性が低かった。そして、従来においては、防水性を向上させるため、施工に多大な労力を要していた。

本発明は、外壁下地の外側の所定位置に配される断熱材と、該断熱材の表面を防水被覆する防水シートと、前記断熱材を前記外壁下地に固定する固定用ビスと、前記断熱材の厚みを所定厚みに確保するスペーサーと、前記断熱材の表面側で前記固定用ビスに嵌装でき且つ胴縁を固定する胴縁ハンガーと、該胴縁ハンガーに固定される胴縁とを備えた外張断熱外壁構造であって、前記スペーサーは、前記固定用ビスを挿通し得るビス挿通孔を有し、前記断熱材にその厚み方向に貫通して配されており、前記胴縁ハンガーは、その一端部に前記断熱材側に配されるつば部を有し、前記固定用ビスを挿通し得るビス挿通孔を有しており、前記固定用ビスは、前記胴縁ハンガーの前記ビス挿通孔及び前記スペーサーの前記ビス挿通孔を挿通して前記外壁下地にビス止めされて、前記断熱材を前記外壁下地に固定しており、前記防水シートは、前記胴縁ハンガーの前記つば部と前記胴縁との間又は前記スペーサーの端部と前記胴縁ハンガーの前記つば部との間で挟持されている外張断熱外壁構造を提供することにより、上記目的を達成したものである。

本発明の外張断熱外壁構造を、その好ましい一実施形態について、図1〜図3を参照して説明する。
本発明の第1実施形態の外張断熱外壁構造1は、外壁下地2の外側の所定位置に配される断熱材3と、該断熱材3の表面を防水被覆する防水シート4と、前記断熱材3を前記外壁下地2に固定する固定用ビス5と、前記断熱材3の厚みを所定厚みに確保するスペーサー6と、前記断熱材3の表面側で前記固定用ビス5に嵌装でき且つ胴縁8を固定する胴縁ハンガー7と、該胴縁ハンガー7に固定される胴縁8とを備えている。

防水シート4としては、アスファルトフェルト、透湿防水シート等の防水性を有するシートがあるが、本実施形態においては、透湿性も有する透湿防水シートを用いている。防水シート4は、施工前においては、取り扱い及び施工の便宜上、長尺状とされ、ロール状に巻回されている。

スペーサー6は、図1(a)及び図2に示すように、円柱状の部材で、長手方向に前記ビス挿通孔61が形成されており、また、スペーサー6の長さは、断熱材3の前記厚みより若干短くなっている。
胴縁ハンガー7は、図1〜図3に示すように、一端部につば部71が形成され、他端部に雄ネジ73が形成され、略ハット状となっている。また、長手方向に前記ビス挿通孔72が形成されている。

サイディング材等の外壁材9は、図2に示すように、胴縁8の折曲部82の端縁部に当接した状態で、胴縁8の外側に前記外壁材ハンガーにより固定されるものである。

次に、第1実施形態の外張断熱外壁構造の施工手順について、図1及び図2を参照して説明し、併せて、その構成についても更に詳述する。
先ず、外壁下地2の所定位置に必要な個数の断熱材3を並置して仮止めする。仮止めは、仮止め用の釘を断熱材3の四隅に打ち付けて行う。次に、断熱材3の表面における固定用ビス5の挿通位置に位置墨の墨出しを行う。尚、この挿通位置は、外壁下地2における間柱21や柱等、固定用ビス5のネジ部52をネジ込み可能な箇所に対応している。
次いで、断熱材3の表面に付された位置墨にビス挿通孔61を合わせて、スペーサー6を断熱材3の内部に挿入設置し、スペーサー6の一端部62を外壁下地板22に当接させる。尚、本実施形態における断熱材3は、グラスウールからなるため、その内部にスペーサー6を容易に挿入できる。然る後、スペーサー6のビス挿通孔61に胴縁ハンガー7のビス挿通孔72を合わせて、胴縁ハンガー7のつば部71を断熱材3の表面及びスペーサー6の他端部63に当接させる。

また、防水シート4は、施工前にはロール状になされており、ロールの巻回を解きながら、複数個の断熱材3に亘って被覆することができる。複数枚の防水シート4を継ぎ合わせる場合には、それらの端部同士を重ね合わせて、防水シート4を断熱材3の表面に貼着する。特に、複数枚の防水シート4を上下方向に継ぎ合わせる場合には、継目の防水性を一層向上させるため、上方の防水シートの端部を下方の防水シートの端部の表側になるようにする。

図5(b)に示すように、先ず、外壁下地2の外壁下地板22の表面に断熱材3を仮止めする。また、節形スペーサー6’の端部(一端部)62’の近傍64’が潰れていない状態において、節形スペーサー6’の他端部63’と胴縁ハンガー7のつば部71とを当接させた状態で、胴縁ハンガー7のビス挿通孔72及び節形スペーサー6’のビス挿通孔61’に固定用ビス5を挿通する。その状態で、固定用ビス5を節形スペーサー6’及び胴縁ハンガー7と共に外壁下地2に向けて押圧することにより、節形スペーサー6’を断熱材3の内部に挿入してゆく。挿入してゆくと、節形スペーサー6’の一端部62’が外壁下地2の外壁下地板22に当接するが、更に固定用ビス5を外壁下地2にネジ込んでいくことにより、胴縁ハンガー7を介して節形スペーサー6’が長手方向に押圧される。そして、その押圧力により、節形スペーサー6’の一端部62’の近傍64’の骨材64a’がその中間部分で折曲し、近傍64’が長手方向に潰れると共に短手方向に拡開し、節形スペーサー6’の全長が所定長さとなる。その結果、節形スペーサー6’の一端部62’の近傍64’が潰れた状態で、断熱材3の厚みが所定厚みに確保される。その後、防水シート4,胴縁8、外壁材9等を、第1実施形態の施工手順と同様に施工し、図5(a)に示す外張断熱外壁構造が得られる。
